I needed a last minute deep clean for an appraisal and Rhia was quick to respond and take care of me. She scheduled Garret to clean and he did an AMAZING job! His attention to detail was impressive. Did not do the Laundry, Garbage removal or any real cleaning of any kind. Dirty plates left in sink, dirty stove and countertops. Bathroom was not touched at all. I contacted Eco-Mama in early Feb for my home cleaning needs. Rhia, the owner, was super friendly, and scheduled Nikki to come over. Nikki did an incredible job cleaning our 1900 sq feet house, she spent more that 4h with us. Everything was sparkly and smelled great. I started using Eco Mama over 6 years ago. (I strayed for a bit and will never do so again!) She has the best crew who are incredibly friendly, flexible, easy to work with while also doing a fantastic job. It is really important to me to have my home cleaned with non-toxic products and I love the smell of my place when I come home after it has been cleaned. Think minty lavender instead of lysol and bleach. The place is always spotless. EcoMama did such an amazing job on our move out. We hired their services knowing that it would be tight time-wise to do a good job with a move out cleaning. They responded to our request and made every effort to help us get our (HUGE) deposit back. The home was left sparkly clean and smelled delicious! When the landlord saw the place her jaw dropped. I reached out to Eco-Mama to book a house cleaning a few weeks ago, and wanted them to come just prior to an event I am hosting. The booking process was a little sloppy so I had some concerns they would show up and emailed the day before to double check that my cleaning professional would be arriving at the scheduled time. I didn't get a response. No one arrived at the scheduled time, and I called and left a voicemail and emailed again. I'm really disappointed as I was looking forward to using a locally owned eco-friendly cleaning company. Sophie came and cleaned my neglected house today and OH MY STARS! My house is sparkly and tidy and shiny and it smells SO GOOD. She not only cleaned every square inch of every room, she also straightened and fluffed and restored order and she was so cheerful about it all. Eco-Mama was amazing. I needed a deep clean on short notice for a business photo shoot, and they were able to fit me in (luckily, thanks to some regular clients on vacation!) within a week's notice. Annie worked about 5 hours on our 1,000 sq ft home and made it shine! I've never seen our sink shine so bright. The best part was the great-smelling eco-friendly products they use. I've been using Eco-Mama every other week for over a year now and have been so happy with the service. I love how clean my house looks, feels, and smells after each cleaning. I used another "eco-friendly" cleaning company in Austin prior to finding Eco-Mama and they charged twice as much and brought in four people at once. While they were fast, it was absolute overkill and I did not like the feeling that strangers were in every corner of my house. I used EcoMama only twice because by the time I found them, I had to relocate out of Austin. HOWEVER, those two times were great - they did a regular clean and a move-out clean. Before them, I used your regular everyday cleaning service - they always seemed to start out great, but as time went by, the results waned. And my house always smelled like chemicals. The awesome thing about EcoMama is that my house was super clean and it smelled clean, not like chemicals, when I got home. And I felt good knowing that the cleaners are paid a living wage without me having to tip. I was always worried about that with other companies and assumed the workers got paid crap as they inhaled all those cleaning chemicals. EcoMama is also super responsive and easy to reach. The owner texted me before the apt to confirm and then after to make sure I was happy. They might be a tad bit pricier than what you might pay with your regular cleaning service, but what you get in cleanliness and social responsibility is totally worth it!! read more
