Thanksgiving Day Brunch Earlier in the morning, a friend asked me if I had ever had a bad Thanksgiving Day meal. I proudly said, NO. I shared my Christmas bad meal story and restated that I never had a bad Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, that must of been the jinx. I can now say I have experienced a bad Thanksgiving at the age of 69. I'll start with the positive, because what's good is the most important. Salmon - Very good. I'd get it as an entree on my return. Turkey - Tender and juicy. Brisket - Nice. Seasoned well and just the perfect amount of fat. Green Beans - OMG. Flavorful and made fresh. Beans had a nice snap. Mac & Cheese - Great flavor for m&c made on the stove top. Mash Potatoes - made fresh and garlicky. Pecan Pie - It's my favorite. Carvers - Staff working carving station offered good customer service. Disappointment: Dressing - Tasted like Stove Top. Was Dry. Gravy - Did the job, but flavorless. Had to add salt & pepper. Pecan Pie - Not very flavorful. Favorite pie, so I may be a hard judge. Bacon - Could have been baked a little more. Major Disappointment: The organization and service. Not accepting cash as a form of payment. Layout of buffet tables, the flow was not good, diners got congested. Tables in buffet room were disorganized and ruined the ambiance. In closing: The staff needed to adjust their attitudes. They were rushing diners while eating and even when signing for the bill. I wonder if they were short staffed, I saw management bussing tables. That was good to see they are team players and supporting their staff. Before retirement, my career had me working holidays. There were years that I worked both Thanksgiving and Christmas. So I am appreciative of Eclipse being open and serving a Thanksgiving meal. I'll go back for a regular experience, but I'll skip a holiday buffet.

Elisia was our greeter, seater, and server. She was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Manager was walking around, and making sure our visit was pleasant. Restaurant was clean, spacious seating and well lit. Bartender was friendly. I ordered the chicken sandwich and fries with all the works and it was absolutely delicious. It came out hot and fresh . For a drink a European Cider. I will start getting those as well. Nice priced meal. FYI I reserved my time for happy hour and website is not updated there is no happy hour on Friday anymore ( bummer).

Popped in for a quick dinner before an event at the Pageant. Super close but definitely allow extra time. At the end of the day, this is a hotel restaurant and not really able to handle the kind of rush they got pre-event. That said, it was all hands on deck, hustling to get everyone taken care of. Always nice to see management stepping in. Appreciated the good service. Dinner is an eclectic assortment of familiar things but with a unique twist. I enjoyed the Cosmic Shrimp, a huge portion of fried shrimp dressed in St. Louis Style BBQ sauce, a recommendation from our server. The restaurant is a bit small, but with a funky vibe. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and I would go back.

We had the most wonderful experience ordering room service through Eclipse while staying at the Moon Rise. We had Elisia as our server, and she was THE BEST! IN EVERYWAY! Food Service Experience Thanks Girl! The Burch's

Stopped in to enjoy a cocktail/drink and warm up after a walk up and down Delmar during the Ice Festival. Service was friendly and tried to make good on all orders, one of which was a peppermint schnapps hot chocolate. That came out weak on all counts. Server brought out a better version. Comfortable atmosphere. Drink choice menu adequate for our group which included the typical list of boor, wine and cocktails. Liked the bar on the 8th floor better when it opened at 4p. Seemed like the bartenders were on their game up there. Really enjoyed the view up there!!!

We ate here a couple times. Both for breakfast and dinner. Food was consistent each time. The service however was better during dinner. Seemed like the attention and care dropping during the morning shift. For dinner we ordered the Jerk Wings which had a sort of dry rub spicy seasoning. The Eclipse Burger, a large burger with amazingly seasoned fries and thick bacon. The Nashville Chicken Po Boy was full of chicken balls with similar seasoning to the wings. For breakfast we ordered Omelette. The Smoked Salmon Board was such a unique dish where you were able to build your own bagels! I would definitely recommend for yourself or the share.

We wanted to enjoy a cocktail before a concert we were in town for and headed down for the Eclipse happy hour. I ordered an extra dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. The bartender made it well and it was very smooth. The space is connected to the Moonrise Hotel which like the restaurant is themed.

This review is unique, but trust my every word. I came to the Moonrise hotel to check out their rooftop bar before seeing a show at Delmar Hall. We came a bit late and we were handed a late night menu at the bar for Eclipse. I am a HUGE corn lover and knew I had to try the Island Street Corn when I saw it. It is out of this world! I can't stop raving about this corn! I have been telling everyone to come for the corn! If Eclipse can make a phenomenal corn- I can only imagine the greatness that comes! I hear this corn has a background story too so next time you're at Eclipse ask! Definitely more than enthused to come again!

Since there isn't a page for the Twilight room, and the food comes from Eclipse, I'll combine reviews here. I stopped in to meet a friend before a show at Delmar Hall as I imagine plenty of people do and was pretty happy overall. The rooftop entrance was closed as it was approximately 900 degrees yesterday, which I was more than okay with, but we did pop outside for a quick photo as the views are incredible. Drink-wise, I ordered an NA Moscow mule and it was pretty good; I've had better and I've had worse. As far as food, I ordered the shrimp lettuce wraps and truffle fries and my buddy got the Caesar. I was very underwhelmed with the fries as they just tasted super greasy (even for fries) but the lettuce wraps were BOMB and my friend enjoyed his salad. The food did take quite a while to come out but the staff were all really lovely so it's hard to rate the service. It's a cool spot to checkout and obviously the moonrise is worth a stop, in general, so I'd still recommend it.

I particularly like how the menu has illustrations of the cocktails so you know how they are served. Plus everything is seasonal! For food, I give it a 4/5. The appetizers, including the cauliflower, onion rings, and poutine are excellent but the entree menu is limited to mostly sandwiches and I've found the entrees just ok-to-good for the price. It's easy to walk in for lunch but I recommend a reservation for dinner to avoid the chaos!

I'm disappointed that it took me so long to make my way here. They won me over with the tiny dedicated parking lot. At my big age, difficult parking situations are a turn off and I will go home if I can't get reasonable parking. I was able to snag a space in the lot and headed in. The space is a bit dark with rich sage, brass, and terracotta. There are several hanging plants making it an inviting place. The bar has plenty of comfortable seating and cozy tables if you decide to bring some friends. Caleb was our server during our visit. He was an absolute delight. He made excellent cocktail suggestions. He looked after our group without being overly doting. Just a gem of a human. We tried approximately 9 cocktails during our visit. Did I mention we were at brunch! I highly recommend the peach bite and the Side Car. Every cocktail is thoughtfully made and well executed. They offer a small brunch menu along with the regular menu. I usually always get chilaquiles when they are available. But today the ruby trout and grits sounded perfect. This dish was amazing!! The trout was thin with crispy skin. The grits were creamy and delicious. The dish is topped with a house made radish pico and salsa macha. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was paired with the crispiest breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The burger and fries are also a good option. The seasoning on the fries is next level. The brunch menu has a sticky toffee roll that is a perfect size for sharing or not. Salty sweet fork tender cinnamon roll. Lastly, the deviled eggs were a group favorite. I am a big fan of Passenger Chili Crisp. If you are unfamiliar please look them up! It's hands down the best chili crisp I've ever had. It's locally made here in STL and can also be found in several dishes at restaurants around town. The eggs were creamy with the right amount of tang from the mustard. The chili crisp made these deviled eggs easily top five best I've ever had! Planning to stop in again soon for happy hour with more friends

Arrived around 7:30 on a Friday night and the next available reservation wasn't until 10:30/10:45. There are about 5-6 dart stations throughout the restaurant that accommodate different group sizes. The seating was open so after roaming a bit cozied into a booth behind the bar where a tv was near by to watch the basketball game. From entrance to exit, everyone was friendly and warm. From my vantage point I observed all of the employees working together to make sure drinks were served quickly, food orders came out hot and guests' needs were met. The cocktail and mocktail was delicious, the lobster elote with seasoned tortillas was very flavorful and entrees did not disappoint. Validation tickets for parking in the parking garage next door is a plus! I'll be going back, have to try the darts!

The bouncer was super nice and he actually walked me all the way in. our waitress was also very nice and attentive. It was not busy when we were there and we had reservations for a group of six, which is apparently the most you can have on a reservation. We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday and everyone got a variety of drinks from the cocktail menu. I got their version of the whiskey sour with the cherry froth on top and it was so good. The waitress said it is the most popular and I can see why I really enjoyed it and would've ordered more if it wasn't so expensive for one drink the table, got a variety of the small bites such as the cheese and the Barada. They also got some bread which looked awesome. I did not try personally, but it looked very impressive. the atmosphere is dark and mysterious. It smelled good and felt fancy. The decor is very tasteful and makes you feel like you are truly in a speakeasy. The location is outstanding with it being near the foundry. We showed up without a reservation, which I wouldn't necessarily recommend. We were initially told the wait would probably be around an hour and a half, so reservations are definitely a good idea. Somehow, we got super lucky and received a text that they were ready for us only about 10 or 15 minutes later. We ended up sitting at the bar, which honestly made the experience even better. If you enjoy watching bartenders work their magic, I highly recommend sitting there if you get the chance. The cocktails here are unlike anything we've had before, and it was so much fun watching all the different drinks being made and seeing the creativity that goes into each one. Our bartender, John, was amazing. He was incredibly personable, answered all of our questions, and was genuinely enjoyable to talk to throughout the evening. Between the two of us, we tried four cocktails. I started with the Linea Uno and asked John if he could make it less bitter after the woman sitting next to me mentioned that was an option. It was delicious, although I apparently didn't pay enough attention to the menu when ordering because it was tequila-based, and tequila normally isn't my first choice. The Trade Winds was one of the coolest drinks of the night, made with clarified rum, apricot, and coconut and topped with mango air. The mango air literally looked like bubbles but smelled like mango. Such a unique presentation, and the drink itself was really enjoyable. My husband tried the New York Whiskey Sour, made with clarified whiskey, yuzu, tart cherry, and black lime cordial with a red wine foam. Again, the presentation was beautiful, and it tasted just as good as it looked. My personal favorite was Ankra's Passion Fruit Martini, made with vodka, vanilla, passion fruit, lime, and bubbles. It came with a small glass of champagne on the side, which was a really nice touch. John mentioned that I could drink the champagne separately or add it to the martini as I went. I ended up pouring some into the cocktail, and for me, it balanced out the sweetness of the passion fruit perfectly. The entire speakeasy experience was just fun, from trying to find the entrance to making our way inside and finally settling in at the bar. We took plenty of pictures and videos along the way, but I'm intentionally not posting most of them because I don't want to ruin the surprise for anyone visiting for the first time. I will share a picture of the red light you need to look for at The Foundry since we initially had a little trouble figuring out where to go, along with some photos of our drinks. The rest of the journey inside is something I think you should experience for yourself. Creative cocktails, beautiful presentations, a genuinely fun atmosphere, and fantastic service from John made this an easy five-star experience for us. If you're visiting The Foundry and enjoy unique cocktails and hidden speakeasies, None of the Above is absolutely worth finding. Just learn from us and make a reservation. We got very lucky!

Clayton was busy, so street parking was hard to find. Once seated, we were greeted with friendly service and were brought water. I ordered a ginger beer with cranberry juice added to it for a refreshing mocktail. We ordered the Squeaky Cheese to start, the golden-brown cheese curds were gooey and had the perfect crunch. I ordered the Bacon Jam Burger with fries. The burger was juicy, sweet, and had a nice crunch. The bacon jam was subtle, but it enhanced the overall flavor.
