I've done plumbing work at my house (a long time ago when all piping was galvanized steel) and had no problems. When my Mom's kitchen sink had a hidden water leak I told her I can fix this. Looking at the turn off valve under the sink, the pipe was galvanized. However, on the other side of the wall was copper tubing. Natural I bent the copper tubing. Thank God for this company, they sent over a plumber named Luis. What a nice man, he looked at the water leaking and said no problem I can fix this. With in a short time the leak was fixed. Luis also showed how plugged the pipe was with gunk. Having seen that, the bad tasting water made sense. I used this company one more time at my Mom's house and once at my house. I had a broken shower handle component that had suddenly snapped off due to a lot of usage over the last 30 years. I messaged Echo Plumbing and Rooter with a picture and they were able to give me a reasonable quote within a few minutes. Although the job wasn't urgent, they were able to dispatch a tech to my home within an hour or so. Miguel, their tech, was courteous and had the replacement parts with him already. As he took out the old parts, he identified a stuck broken cartridge that could have led to a more costly repair. Fortunately, with some elbow grease, he was able to remove the cartridge without having to cut through any pipes or valves. He then replaced the broken parts with the new parts and still able to honor the original quote. I will be using them again for my plumbing issues. read more

Repairmen Juan and Chris asked me pertinent questions about the problem when they arrived and ran some tests inside and outside the house. They explained their findings, made recommendations for a solution and provided an itemized estimate. I chose to have one very old toilet replaced. Two days later, Chris texted me several toilet model choices available at the store. Later the same day, the guys returned to install the new toilet. The repair itself took about an hour. We had a good experience with Chris. Another plumber had come from a different company and struggled to put in a kitchen faucet. We tried three times with that company and they failed to get the kitchen faucet installed properly. We decided to buy a new model in case it was our sink that was the problem or something else. Our second new model didn't work either for reasons I don't need to go into but Chris was able to go ahead and install the first new model just fine, the one the other plumbing company failed at three times. He also noticed some angle stops underneath the sink could be replaced. Didn't give me the hard sell but convinced me we should do that. They saved our house! The main sewer pipe from our home detached and a toilet in our home erupted like a volcano. Luckily, only water overflowed from it. We scramble to find a plumber, and Echo was recommended by a prior contractor. The Echo team arrived within 90 minutes. They spent the next six hours searching for the issue, which they diagnosed quickly, fixing the broken pipe, scoping the system for any blockages, and resealing the toilet. Manuel & Samuel showed up early in the alloted time slot wearing masks & gloves. When they checked out the the bathroom sink where I wanted my new faucet & drain stopper installed, they looked under the cabinet where the shutoff valves are located & suggested they also be replaced as the old ones showed corrosion & it would probably only be a matter of time 'til they'd need to be replaced. They quoted a very good price to do that as well while they were here so I agreed. The work was completed in a timely manner & left the area clean. I had my sewer lateral replaced yesterday by Echo. Nobody wants to have this done, obviously. But there was no avoiding it. Echo responded to my request very promptly. Juan came out to my home (exactly on time). He did an in depth inspection and estimate for me (didn't charge for the inspection, as a lot of companies do). Here's the part that sealed the deal for me: he looked me in the eye and walked me through every step of the inspection. He answered my questions. He provided me with two options: one to repair the sewer lateral to buy me some more time and one to replace. Within a couple hours of his leaving, he had emailed me the scope of work and the estimate for both of the options. Never once did he ask to speak to a husband or a man of the house (women who own homes, you know how rare this is!). I had several companies come out to do estimates. None of the other companies treated me this way or were this thorough or professional. Juan made the choice easy. The permits were pulled and processed quickly and he kept me updated on each step. Day of the work he kept me informed. The whole team was efficient, professional, and respectful. He took photos of all the work so he could show me once everything was covered up again. They finished quickly and my front sidewalk and driveway are cleaner than they were before the work. They explained the process to uncover the leak and the issues that a homeowner can face. They completed an air pressure test found the leak and repaired and confirmed system was ok. We had one bath tub stopped up not draining, and the other bathroom shower smelling bad. I found Echo on Yelp and decided to give them a try. I really appreciated that I was able to schedule the appointment with a live person on the phone. Chris came to the house on time and introduced himself. For each bathroom Chris explained what he thought needed to be done and showed us each step of the way what he was doing. He was able to clean out both drains and at our request attempted to install a new shower head which ultimately was defective. He showed us the problem and returned the original shower head suggesting another brand to buy. The work was done swiftly and efficiently and to my great relief cost less than I had expected. by far the worst ive ever seen, Miguel can out to repair my water softner, it was half full of water, he took it apart claim to have cleaned it (NO PARTS) charged me 200 dollars, and it never worked , i called him back out , he told me i needed another softner, my question was , why would you try and fix it if it was no good . Great plumbing company! They came out to help me out with a leaking garbage disposal. I had them take a look at a loose toilet and problematic shower knob and were able to solve all 3. The shower knob problem turned into a larger problem that we were anticipating, but they were able to take care of it within a day! Long story short, our house is old and uses 3 knobs in the shower (one for each temperature and the middle one to switch from shower to bath) and I couldn't find a compatible knob for the middle knob that switches shower to bath. They were able to convert the 3 knobs to a single one and install a bath spout that has the switch on top of it to switch between shower and bath. They had to cut out an oval around the 3 previous knobs but were able to cover it with a large silver plate, it looks great! They even had to switch out the piping between the knobs and shower head and had to cut a hole in the wall behind it but they were able to patch it up and texture it. See the pictures (the 3 knobs are a pic from the internet since I didn't take a before picture but my tub was very similar to it). They took care of the garbage disposal and loose toilet quickly. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. They wore masks for covid protection throughout the entire project and I was very pleased with their professionalism and commitment to their work. Don't hesitate; if you have any plumbing needs, give these guys a call! read more
