Fried tofu with chili tofu and arugula salad
Minh V.

Me and the hubby went too Easy Young on a Sunday afternoon. The parking area was pretty small, but we were able to find parking right away. When we went into the restaurant there wasn't a lineup or anything like that. We were served right away. It was kind of like a chipotle style. You choose a plate and you choose one protein it comes with rice and two sides. I got fried tofu with chili tofu and arugula salad as my sides. For my sauce, I had their chili oil cilantro. So darn good! I would order the exact same thing again if I ever find myself back there again. For my drink, I got their Jasmine tea with matcha cloud. Very good. On the sweeter side. I would get it less sweet next time. Overall, this is a clean, cute and delicious place to eat.

Was passing through Anaheim to get home, and stopped at the supercharger here. We've stopped here actually a good handful of times but this time I was starving and hadn't eaten all day. As a result I stumbled on this gem here! I wish it was near me! A build-your-own bowl came out to be $13.95 pre tax. It was a quick service as well. I also had their lemon grass lemonade, super flavorful. I really enjoyed my food honestly! I was telling my sister all about it driving home. I can't wait to come back! They have plenty of seating inside, as well as a menu with lots of variety. If you're stopping by I recommend giving it a try! They also have matcha among other drinks too. It was a fun fusion concept shop.

Build your own bowl with lemongrass chicken, purple rice, lettuce, carrots, seaweed, and spicy sesame sauce, along with pickled onions.

While in the area for an appointment, I happened to be near a supercharger station conveniently located next to Easy Young. Since my vehicle required some time to charge, I decided to have lunch at the restaurant. Upon entering, I immediately noticed the clean and well-maintained interior. I was warmly greeted by the staff, which set a positive tone. Based on prior Yelp reviews, I opted for the "Build Your Own Bowl" with lemongrass chicken. For my base, I selected purple rice. An unusual yet intriguing process followed: the staff member behind the counter weighed both the rice and the chicken portions using a scale. Initially, this practice caught me off guard, but I came to appreciate it as a thoughtful effort to ensure consistent portion sizes and fairness for the customer. One suggestion I would offer is to openly display the measured weight of each item to bolster transparency and further enhance trust in their portioning system. Continuing with my bowl, I added lettuce and various vegetables, similar to what you'd find at a poke bowl establishment. My choice of toppings included spicy sesame dressing, black garlic bean paste, pickled onions, and seaweed salad, complemented by crunchy garlic and carrots. The final presentation was meticulous, and I opted for a seat toward the back to enjoy my meal. The bowl itself was excellent, with fresh and flavorful ingredients that were well-balanced. If I find myself in the area again, I would definitely return to try more offerings from their menu. Before leaving, the staff member who had assisted me inquired about my experience, which I found to be a thoughtful gesture. Interestingly, the restaurant explicitly states on its menu and counter that tipping is not allowed--a policy I found unusual and perhaps slightly frustrating, as the level of service certainly merited a tip. Overall, Easy Young excelled in food quality, cleanliness, and customer service. It was a thoroughly enjoyable lunch.

Mango Matcha.

I've been eyeing Easy Young for a long time and finally got the chance to try it out over the weekend. There was no line when I entered and though my time speaking with the staff was minimal, they were very friendly and helpful. I was looking into getting a bowl but it looked like all the ingredients for the bowls were put away so the plates and drinks were the only options on the menu. I didn't ask why the bowls weren't displayed so that one is on me. I ordered the Wagyu Steak Frites and a Mango Matcha drink. Got the order in under 10 minutes so they were quick with it! Although I'm sure having no line helped. The Wagyu Steak was great! It was juicy, flavorful and definitely one that I wouldn't mind trying again. The fries that came along with it was fried just the right amount and had a nice crunch to it. The Mango Matcha was perfect for the hot summer day. Sweet and fruity. There wasn't as much steak as I expected with the plate, but that doesn't take away from the tastiness of the food. I'd be more than willing to try out the bowls next time I come back!

We had to do a quick stop here and decided to get a drink. We got their matcha einspanner and it was pretty good! After a good mixing it gets a nice, sweet (not overly sweet) flavor; it's not too earthy so we really enjoyed it. It seems like they have a good variety of food items also, so maybe for another time. The decor is nice, minimal, simple and clean. Service was very friendly! The stop was worth it!

As I was looking for a coffee shop, I came across this place and was immediately impressed by how clean everything was. I was a little unsure of what to order, but Mandy was incredibly kind and took the time to explain the menu and give me great recommendations. One thing that really stood out to me was that they don't accept tips because they pay their employees well. Especially here in LA, where tipping culture has gotten a bit out of hand, I really respect and appreciate their approach. I hope more customers support businesses like this. Overall, this is an easy five-star review in my opinion. As a Yelp Elite, I hope this place gets the recognition and customers it deserves. I'll definitely be back!

First time here. I ordered the pumpkin matcha and it was delicious. Not too sweet. You still taste the pumpkin without taking away from the matcha. Will have to come back to try food.

A rarity these days to find a 'No Tip' point of sale terminal.

Dropped off a friend at UCI for a two hour procedure. I had time and matcha cravings to kill and Easy Young was the nearest that popped up in my Yelp search bar. As usual, I first inquire for the most popular matcha drink and the friendly female staff member posed a question to my question: "Do you like your matcha creamy?" to which I replied a resounding affirmative. She pointed to the first two items on the menu and I picked Matcha Banoffee - hand whisked ceremonial grade matcha with oat milk partnered with banana toffee cloud. "I hope you like it" as she handed my caffeinated iced beverage. "I like it!", I said after the first sip. Easy Young is a mere four months old yet they get busy during lunch hours and just recently started serving dinner seven days a week! The space, and number of tables certainly proves they can accommodate the crowds. This is their very first location and working hard to keep customers happy so more people find out through organic word of mouth marketing! The owners may be easy and young but their clientele spans the ages. Go discover it yourself!

This is my go-to lunch spot when I have to work in-office. It's quick, healthy, and the staff is so nice. I love coming here! I've told several coworkers about it, and they love it as well. My only wish is that they would switch up the proteins, as I always get the build your own bowl option. Lemon grass chicken is always on the menu for Tues/Wed (I love it but wish there was a little more variety).

This spot exceeded our expectations!! We came for lunch just right after the lunch rush and ordered the Steak Frites which the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare with such a unique Szechuan inspired flavor that made it stand out. The fries were super crispy and it's honestly rare to find a steak dish this good outside of a traditional steakhouse! You're able to customize your bowl almost like asian chipotle style where you can pick out what to include in your bowl. We tried the signature Char Siu Bowl, which was fresh, flavorful, and felt like the perfect healthy balance to the meal. Really loved the purple rice + sesame dressing! They really do asian fusion dishes the right way! We initially actually came for the drinks that just came out, and every single one was so good. The Matcha Einspanner, Mont Blanc, Black Marble, and Golden Hour were each so unique and worth trying, especially their cream tops! The Golden Hour was my favorite with its caramelized banana flavor and banoffee cold foam, while the Black Sesame had chocolate, walnut, and a rich nutty taste that I really really liked! Everything came out quickly, the indoor seating area is surprisingly so spacious, and the service was friendly and attentive! A special shoutout to Mandy who was so kind and informative made the experience even better. She offered the kind of service that wanted us to tip, but they actually don't accept tips here! They truly want to serve the best quality of food and genuine service. There's so much seating, its perfect for studying, quick lunch on the go, date night and more! Definitely coming back soon!

Don't know what this was from the platters but my favorite

The food here was really tasty and everything was super delicious! Super sad that we came in around the time they were closing, we had the plates, the waygu steak fries that were really gooodd, fatty, but amazing! The fries dipped and juices were amazing, I also really loved their lemonade options, had about 5 cups of their lemon grass lemonade and took one home! Very friendly service that welcomed us in and gave us good recommendations too, the place itself was pretty empty but the whole atmosphere was super cozy! Hidden gem

Build Your Own Combo Plate

Just wow! Years ago there was a fusion build-you-own bowl restaurant called Cross Roast which specialized in char siu pork and a variety of freshly made sides. Unfortunately after the pandemic, even after opening a secondary location at the Packing House, the business closed. My husband and his brother loved going as often as every lunch break and it is such a treat to find something similar opening here in Anaheim. I tried the plate combo and chose the pork which was succulent and had a good ratio to the purple rice. There were more than 10 sides to choose and I picked the mushroom cheese rice cake (tteokbokki) and a Parmesan dusted roasted squash slices. Topped the meat with spicy peanut sauce was chef's kiss. If you like CAVA, this is the elevated quality but Asian/Korean instead of Mediterranean. And because I'm pregnant, all my cravings were satisfied, including the three refresher lemonades for the hot weather. Staff is helpful and there's plenty of seating and ample sunlight from the store front that's neighbors to the popular Lola MFK. Parking can be concerning especially on weekends but I appreciate the plaza for the shade in many of the parking spots. Will come here again and definitely recommend, it's a hidden gem!

Matcha Einspanner & Toasted Marshallow latte

First timer! Loved all the drink/food options, definitely look forward to trying new items on our next visit. I ordered the Matcha Einspanner w/ Oat milk, 10/10. AMAZING Matcha quality and it's made to perfect with the absolute best tasting cold foam on top. My husband ordered the Toasted Marshmallow latte, 10/10 - the taste was not overwhelming and perfect for a slightly sweet latte fix. Service was 10/10, efficient and handled our drinks with care. Ambiance was super chill and very clean! Definitely adding to my list of local places for food and drinks!

The chicken is poached well and the rice is soft! For our food was the curry and fried rice! It's a lot so we can have to go for the rest and it stays good when we heat it for dinner! Yes it's pricey, but it's worth the taste I must say! One thing is off though, maybe the staff are tired..it's a scorching summer...maybe they didn't intent to smile or having unused chit chat, they were so tense and no smiley face, which makes me even felt uncomfortable when I'm waiting for the mango sticky rice. Will we be back???? YES! But smile please next time!

I did not have a good experience with the dishes I ordered today; I've been to Vox decades ago when…read morethey haven't expanded to south coast plaza or part of the Kei concept - which is fine! But I have dined at the Costa Mesa location last year and the flavor of the dishes were great! I remembered the filet mignon and fries dish was amazing with great flavors - today, there was something missing. The depth of flavor with this dish wasn't 100% there! It lacked flavor. The other dish I ordered was the beef and mushrooms! I remembered I enjoyed this dish a lot the last time I order at South Coast plaza location! It was made with rib-eye and it had a nice bite and flavor to it. Today, the menu called this beef and mushrooms and it was flavorful except , the tiny pieces of beef (not even rib-eye quality) was barley there! It was almost like a vegetarian dish with lots of mushrooms and onions and a little sprinkle of chopped end carne asada leftovers. It was VERY disappointing considering this dish cost $23 (up from $19 last year and it was made with quality rib-eye steak with a good bite). To the manager who is reading this feedback - please do better with the quality. Your name is your reputation and if you want returning customers, keep the quality of your dishes since you have already raised the prices on the menu. The beef and mushroom dish is not cutting it for $23 with barley any meat in the dish, it was more like minced, small finely diced pieces that has no bite or chew to it. And the filet mignon just lack a bit of flavor and quality. It used to be a lot more tender. 2 stars because the waiter was nice and took my dish away and took it off the check, since I wasn't really eating it; but, still didn't really offer any comp for something else to fill my tummy. It's ok, I wasn't looking for a free meal, but it would have been a nice gesture to offer a replacement on the house since the dish was disappointing and I didn't get to enjoy or eat my meal that I planned to chose this place for lunch.

Everything was creatively planned and decorated. It was also very clean and spacious inside and out. Our server was really sweet, but she was the only one serving all of the tables, so she would come by every 10-20 minutes to check on us and some things we asked for didn't make it to the table. If they had more servers, customers would be happy with quicker service. The food and tea were delish! There were 6 of us so we shared a bunch of different teas. I really enjoyed the teas they had. The sweet and savory treats were really yummy! I really enjoyed them. Each person got 5 little savory treats and 4 sweet treats. I kind of wish we got one or two more for $45, but either way they were delicious! We had a great time and were sad to learn that the business will be permanently closing down tomorrow (6/28/26), I would have loved to continue going back!
