I have nothing but great things to say about Easy Rooter! I have an old 1940s home and a few months ago my sewer line completely failed - tree roots and cracks and no clean out installed. Ryan gave me a quote that was significantly better than some other local companies, and was able to come out and fix it immediately. They promised they'd be there at 7am and be done by 3 the next day - and they held to their word! They came out, relined my sewer, installed a clean out, and covered up the hole by 3pm, even hauling away the big rocks they dug up. They did such a great job that I just hired them to repipe all the plumbing in my crawl space and yet again, they gave me a super reasonable bid and were 100% true to their word. This time a crew of 2 younger guys came out - they were extremely polite, got the job done in the time promised, and cleaned up and were on their way out in a day! Plumbing issues are a massive pain in the butt but these guys do live up to their names - they made the whole thing EASY. Every single employee I have interacted with from Liz in the office, Ryan giving bids, and now 3 other service guys have been amazing - super friendly and kind. This even includes the guy who came out at 7pm on a Sunday to clear the line when I first had the issue - nothing but amazing people work here. Ryan Albert gave me an extremely reasonable bid to install a new waste line from the house to the street. I decided to go with "Cured-In-Place Pipe" because it only requires a single hole approximately 2'x4' instead of a trench through my landscaping that would cut very big tree roots since the trench would have been within five feet of four very large trees. Replacing the pipe would also have left three feet of my old (orangeburg) pipe from curb to the city connection, unless willing to pay an additional thousand dollars for 3 more feet. Ryan and two crew members showed up at the scheduled 7 AM time and did an excellent job. Finishing around 2:30 PM after the city inspector approved the work. Ryan and his crew were professional and careful with all the landscaping. They installed a new ABS cleanout, backfilled and cleaned up the work area beautifully. read more

Some time ago, we required the services of a plumber because our bathtub had backed up in the middle of the night. First thing the very next morning, my mother called Easy Rooter and Mr. Chuck Ross answered our call. He dropped by house and not only snaked the pipes but was also kind enough to replace the shower head and the water spout. We used their services last year and it went well, so we figured we'd call them again this past Sunday - our line was clogged. The tech, Tony, showed up and found an item in the cleanout, and he jetted. He was here for maybe 20-25 minutes and we paid $250. The next day we ran our washer and our basement flooded again. So the clog was not completely cleared, and just pushed further down. I called Monday afternoon and they said they would send the tech again. When he got here around 6-7pm he had an attitude and said he would charge us $400+ per hour to do any work, since it would be overtime. (doesn't make sense since we paid him the day before for a full hour and he didn't even get the clog all the way out, but okay). We called again Tuesday. He said he would come back during normal hours 10am-12pm, but never showed up. When we called we were told that we weren't on the schedule. Very frustrating and definitely lost my trust in them. They just kept pushing back the time and never came. I had an emergency clog in my sewer line to my septic tank. I called at 8:30am. They said they would be there before noon so I said I could wait at the house. By the time noon came I called again and they changed to 1-3 pm. I called again at 2:15 to confirm they would be coming and they assured me they would and I was next. I called again at 3:30 and they said I was still next but they had no one available. I sat all day at home with a clogged sewer and they never came. The price doesn't matter if they don't come. Water Heater failed early on a Friday here in Fernley. I have a relatively new unit (4 yrs old). Researched plumbing services and was promptly replied to on Yelp by Easy Rooter. They indicated that they were booked that day but could respond Saturday or Sunday but related the service would incur an overtime rate. I chose to wait till he following Monday and made an appointment for 9am to 10am. (Just had to endure cold showers for the weekend) Service Call- James with Easy Rooter arrived promptly at 9am. Found him approachable and pleasant. His initial assessment indicated a faulty pilot assemble. He drove back to sparks for the parts and returned. After completing the repair, the water heater still failed to ignite. Secondary assessment indicated a remove and replace of the gas supply valve. Again, James had to drive back to sparks for the part. Upon return, James completed the job and poof, water heater up and running. Wife is happy to take a hot shower. I paid $700 for the job. It appears excessive but I was happy to pay it for the service that was provided. James was informative and allowed me to watch the whole process. I've never worked with gas before but feel that if the problem (common issue) arises again, I could do it myself. James- Loved the "Red Hat"!!!! read more

I live in a house built in 1949 so with that being said back in the day they used galvanized steel pipes instead of the type that are used today so i do have issues at times and need a plumber more than most im guessing. Anyway ive tried quite a few different ones but this company stands out with the extra time they will give you to answer what ever concerns you have and are extra nice. That means alot to me. Our leach line collapsed and we had to have a new one dug. We called Easy Rooter because we have used them before to pump our septic tank. Matt and his crew came out as promised at 7:00 AM on Monday and were gone by 2:00 PM the SAME day!!!! The leach line was completed and they saved our pine trees and everything!!! Female homeowners BEWARE. My dad and I are working on a project together at my house. He got everything lined out but when the time came to do the work, my Dad was not available to babysit the plumbing work. Not only was the quoted price raised, the workers arrived without the preplanned supplies, look their sweet time, made a huge mess AND didn't finish the job. Who put in a natural gas line without a tracer wire!?! With comments like "oh your dad isn't around today?" "we can always come back if the inspector isn't happy"... I can't help but feel taken advantage of. Additionally, I now have a new hole in side of my brick house where "we tried but it didn't work". I contacted Easy Rooter Plumbing after another plumbing company told me that they couldn't clear a clog that was causing water to back up between my kitchen and bathtub. The "other" plumbing company told me that I would need to have the pipes hydrojetted. Ryan Frankovich from Easy Rooter brought the hydrojet to my house but did his due diligence by running a cable first. Apparently, he used a slightly wider cable and well...that did the trick. Ryan cleared the clog and also cleared the clog in my bathroom sink. He even addressed the crazy angling and curving of pipes under the kitchen sink, to make water flow easier. I will always use Easy Rooter Plumbing. I'm thankful for Ryan's experience, ingenuity, initiative and skill! Also, my son, who was home during the repairs, said "he was the coolest dude ever." We had a clogged sewer sump (1st level) level on Christmas Eve. Called Easy Rooter. They had a technician out within 3 hours. Mikey was awesome. Fixed the blockage within a couple of hours. Saved Christmas! didn't have to deal with sewage smell in the house and our guest were able to use the showers and bathrooms. Given it was Christmas Eve, the emergency charge was beyond reasonable. For the most part, they are all really good and provide great service. Most all are experienced, knowledge and have seen about everything. The best way to get repairs completed at a reasonable price is to explain the issue(s), take pictures and send the best available information in advance, if possible. With social media, Yelp and other Review platforms, everyone is really trying their best to earn and retain our business. A little grace and understanding on our end goes along way and nothing more than what we would hope to have in our own businesses. read more

Call them out to fix a clock in my pipe at my house. They ran their snake. Thank God, it stuck in my clean out pipe. Dog, my side yard grass up to get that snake out told me that my pipe would no longer be repairable. That wasn't the problem. The problem was in my line through my garage line. They put my pipe back together and left a mess my pipe in my yard leaks all over and my ground is saturated with water. I'll never hire these guys again. All they want to do is charge you for everything. They had to come back to fix the mistake they did, but they wanted to charge me more.I told them no so they did not fix it.I have to call somebody else what a rip off read more

My out of state landlord called these guys to fix a few things at my place. They were slightly tricky to contact and also quite late each time arriving hours after the arrival window. And they were not particularly apologetic about it. The lack of value of my time (or the person that was there) was extremely bothersome. I had a horrific time explaining that some work had been completed to their phone answer lady. I provided details at least 3 times and I'm still not certain that she understood. That was a tad frustrating. The plumber that they sent over, Jesse, was great. He dod fkne work rather quickly and was very personable. HORRIBLE OFFICE CUSTOMER SERVICE. 2 guys showed up to dig up the lids that are 4 inches under soft dirt. they took 30 minutes and charged me $330! $215 to locate which wasn't necessary and $115 per hour to dig. they told me they had to put a camera down the pipe as part of the inspection and that footage would be reviewed and I would get the results! come to find out they did NOT do the inspection. The lady in the office said they don't do the inspection the pumper does. I complained and explained to deaf ears!!! ok .. just another experience of being taken advantage of - anymore, aren't we all just expecting that treatment anyway. so, the pumper came and left... still have 2 exposed lids... safety and health hazard.. called the lady at the ofc again (really didn't want to) - told her again my dilemma- oh, well we don't cover the holes unless you want is to. tjat will be $115 per hour!' needless to say $945 later I'm a very disgruntled customer and committed to never doing business with them again-nor recommending them! read more

I had a leak in my 19 year old hot water valve under the kitchen sink, and the hot water was not coming out as strong as the cold water. Called Easy Rooter Plumbing at about noon, and they were able to send out a repairman within the next 3 hours. Karl showed up and was very cordial. He assessed the issue and was able to fix it with no problems. He gave me a great explanation of why the hot water was limited and fixed that as well. He left the area cleaner than it was when he arrived. I appreciate the time he spent to explain why it wasn't working well and what to do in the future if it occurs again. Excellent customer service.
