This is the plumbing company that my home warranty uses in my area. I've had excellent service from them in the past, and two days ago, they came out to replace my pipes under the house, which were not covered by my home warranty. The crew came out, and spent most of the day working on it. We thought they were done, but there were a few things that were not right, so the owner came out the following day and fixed everything, including things that were not related to the pipes. These people are amateurs, do MORE damage than was originally there and they blame other people for their complete fuck ups! We live in a 10 year old house, never had a plumbing problem until a leak was noticed in the main bedroom water closet (tiny room with just a toilet), Premier Plumbing was called out to seek and repair this leak. It turned out to be a pex elbow in the attic/crawl space. The person sent was called Jason, and he DID NOT DO HIS JOB. Rather than fix this area correctly he pulled up on this pipe so as to get better access, did his "job" and went on his merry way. Only this caused a FURTHER leak, which did WAY more damage than was there in the first place. We figured this out the next day when the restoration for fire/water damage company came out and discovered this issue. Premier Plumbing was contacted immediately. It took 2 days with completely NO RESPONSE from ANYONE and then Jason showed up at random in the morning to address the issue. He proceeded to blame the restoration company's people for causing the further leakage and the damage it caused. He did fix the problem, that he caused, and left. The thing is we are now on the hook for $10,000 (at least) and MOST of the main bathroom, including tile floor, the cabinets and the hardwood floor in the hallway of the room is completely torn out. Originally, it only looked like it was going to be the water closet and its walls that they might have to gut. Not the whole goddamned bathroom section of the main bedroom bathroom. These guys are scammers and have had to come out three different times to fix a very simple faucet that is loose. We only got assigned to them through our home warranty, but it's clear they're scamming the home warranty system to not fix things properly so they have to be called out again. Absolutely the Worst Plumbing Company I've Ever Dealt With I don't typically leave negative reviews, but after three separate service calls at three different properties, I feel obligated to warn others. Premier Plumbing has been, without question, the most unprofessional plumbing company I've ever worked with. The common theme in every experience was poor communication, missed expectations, lack of preparation, and unprofessional service. Property #1: One repair involved what appeared to be a temporary fix by placing a rag between two hot metal pipes instead of properly addressing the issue. There were also several other items that were either overlooked or not completed correctly, including maintenance on the water heater. While I wasn't happy, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and moved on. Property #2: This experience was far worse. A technician inspected my water heater and showed me how dangerous its condition had become. It looked like it was close to catching fire. Because the water heater was located near my bedroom and close to my children's rooms, I asked that it simply be replaced rather than repaired. He agreed and submitted it for replacement. Instead of replacing it promptly, Premier Plumbing shut off my water heater, leaving me without hot water for nearly three weeks. During that entire time, communication was almost nonexistent. The company would not answer phone calls. Every attempt to get an update had to be done through text messages, and getting a response was incredibly difficult. I had to repeatedly contact my home warranty company just to find out what was happening. As the customer, I shouldn't have to do all of the coordination between my contractor and my warranty company. When they finally arrived to install the replacement, they showed up without basic tools and had to borrow towels, a hose, and pliers from me just to complete the job. It was one of the most unprepared service visits I've ever witnessed. Property #3 (The Final Straw): Unfortunately, my home warranty company assigned Premier Plumbing yet again. I was given a service window of 2:00-5:00 PM. Since I was out of town, my partner left work early to wait at the property. After waiting over 4 1/2 hours, they still hadn't arrived. He eventually had to leave because he gets up at 3:00 AM for work, so I had to call my son to take over waiting. The technician finally arrived an hour and a half after the scheduled window. His vehicle was left parked in the middle of the roadway while he worked, and his overall appearance and behavior raised concerns about whether he was fit to be performing service work. Communication with management was just as frustrating as before. Phone calls were ignored, and they would only communicate through text messages. When I simply asked for an ETA after waiting for hours, I was met with a rude response asking if I just wanted to cancel. Even after arriving extremely late, they still couldn't complete the repair because they only brought three of the four required valves, despite already knowing exactly what repair they were coming out to perform. They had to schedule another trip the following day just to finish a job that should have been completed the first time. Not to mention the job he did come and complete is STILL leaking. The following day, while trying to get another update, I received a text stating they would "fix it, close the ticket, and red flag it." As a homeowner, hearing the phrase "red flag the ticket" immediately concerned me because it could potentially affect a warranty claim depending on the circumstances. I immediately contacted my home warranty company to document everything and protect myself. This isn't about one bad day. This is about three separate properties, three separate service experiences, and the exact same problems every single time: - Extremely poor communication - Refusal to answer phone calls - Requiring customers to communicate only through text - Late arrivals - Lack of preparation - Returning multiple times because they didn't bring the necessary parts - Unprofessional customer service - No accountability The Reno/Sparks area has many plumbing companies available. Consumers have options, and based on my repeated experiences, I strongly encourage people to choose one of them instead. I gave Premier Plumbing multiple chances because they kept being assigned through my home warranty company. Unfortunately, each experience was worse than the last. After three separate incidents, I can confidently say I will never allow this company to perform work on any of my properties again. read more

Buyer beware. If you have any choice at all, use a different plumbing company. We've used Premier Plumbing twice through our American Home Shield warranty. Both service appointments were frustrating. The first time, nobody showed up. When I called the next day, they didn't even seem aware that the appointment had been missed. The second time was no better. We were scheduled for a 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM appointment. The technician said he'd be "a little late" but didn't arrive until after 5:00 PM. Two appointments. Two major scheduling failures. When you take time off work and arrange your day around a service window, you expect a company to respect your time. Premier Plumbing has not done that in our experience. Terrible customer service. finally got them out on Wednesday for a clog, the guys that showed up had a 25' snake the one that you can hand crank to turn or use a drill. asked about a machine they said they didn't know they were needing one so din;t load it into the truck. (??) they went in from outside cleanout said could not be reached , thenwent through toilet, unable to unclog it. so then they went to master bath shower drain still unable to open up the line. they said "Would need a JET". I asked about the "machine" we discussed earlier that they didn't bring today... one of them told me, we don;t have those, just this snake. what? told my daughter all of this she said that's impossible any plumbing company should have soemthng bigger to use than a snake run by a drill(?) I called the manager/boss Mike he said they do have a machine that will work, he would be out Thursday noon, showed up just before 2. he asked if toilets flush, I said yes they do once then cannot be flushed again until the water goes down. He said show me. went to first BR... okay... then mstr bath. yep you have a clog he said for him to use his "machine" will have to pull the toilet. OH, do I have to do that I asked or you do it. he didn't say anything just headed back down hall stating he had to call warranty company to see if it was covered. makes sense... Great. but his guys had been out the day before, did they not tell him the issue... he said "what guys"... your guys. Also I had discussed with him on Wednesday before 1230, after his guys left but I guess he had to see issue himself before he would call for authorization(?)... so as he was practically running down my driveway I was asking about a possible timeline... if he knew... usual turnaround time... he didn't answer just got in his van and left. sent him a text asking that question again, letting him know it had been 9 days since I could use any water, no shower, no dishes no laundry no toilet use. thanked him twice in text. he never answered text. So Called my warranty company, HE cancelled the service request. UGH! Noticed he never saw text apparently I was blocked. read more

First off they lie to the customer. Gives you an appt time and never shows up, or gives you a phone number (Jason worker) 702-801-3632 to call to make an appt I wouldn't use this company. Oh, I have a home warranty company AHS and this is the company they sent me to do the work. They are so nice on the phone but they don't get back to you, won't let you talk to a manager or supervisor and they say they will get back to you. I have made a lot of calls to the plumbing company. AHS you get through and talk to someone but that it. I don't like doing this note but people should know the run around I have gone through. read more

It was a little confusing at first because I ended up talking to several plumbers. Premier called and said they would come at 12:00 but ended up coming sooner. They were friendly and figured out what needed to be done quickly. They got to work on the problem and shortly after had my toilet unclogged. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Premier Plumbing - Tank Less system install. Mike the owner, spent time to prior to the install to walk the project and provided a very competitive rate for the install and removal of a 75 gallon Hot Water Heater. Very professional, arrive on time and did not waste any time in getting the installed completed. Removed all the component associated with the old hot water heater. Installed gate valves on the water lines and the gas line, ran the test for gas leaks plus cleaned up the area, took the debris with him. In addition, address an mis installed drain for our kitchen sink. Mike left to pick up supplies and completed the repair of the kitchen sink. Top shelf service!! read more

I had premier plumbing come out to diagnose some leaks. Unfortunately, they only addressed the obvious leaks in the garage and didn't inspect the attic or the crawl space. Before completing the job, they charged me $700 for the permits and then wanted an additional $3,800 on top of that, after realizing there were more leaks, making a total of $4,500, to replace all the piping, claiming it wasn't covered by my home warranty due to abnormal wear and tear. I then found the leak myself by cutting into the drywall behind my appliances and called another company, who fixed it in just two hours with a simple mega press fitting. This clearly shows it was normal wear and tear, despite their initial assessment. I was also blocked from making a warranty claim because of their assessment, even though it was proven to be a simple fix. If you're looking for reliable plumbers, I highly recommend Jet for manometer services and 24-Hour Rapid Rooter for plumbing work--they both have great integrity and are a pleasure to do business with. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I hate that I have to write this review because I've had Mike or his guys come out for at least 4 separate projects and have referred him to coworkers and friends, and up until this most recent project, I had nothing but positive things to say. That being said, I will never use Premier Plumbing again... I had them come out on a Friday to replace a shower/tub mixer valve, and the guy that came out used Sharkbites to connect the valve to the pipes. I didn't think I needed to tell a "professional" how to do their job, but after the slightest bit of research and calling a few other plumbers (who all laughed when I said there was sharkbites installed on a 2nd story bathroom with no access to check for leaks), I realized that this is absolutely not how it should have been installed since sharkbites will leak, just a matter of when, not if. So i scheduled another visit for the following Friday for them to come back out and do this correctly for an additional $100 on top of what I already paid. Fine, I don't care, it's worth it to get it done right. After I don't hear anything Friday, I call again asking if they are still coming out, and was told that my job didn't make the schedule and they ask if they can come out the next day instead. Fine, miscommunication happens, no biggie. The next day, after the time passes when they were supposed to come out, I call again and was told "they can't get ahold of the technician and aren't sure if they can still make it".... It's been 24 hours since we scheduled the appointment. There's no excuse for this to happen back to back days. If I just blindly trusted that they did the job correctly, I would have been stuck paying thousands of dollars to fix the water damage this would have caused a few years down the road. read more

Premier Plumbing was assigned by American Home Shield to check out an issue on the 20 year old water heater at my Reno rental. The appointment was made the next business day and Premier was on time as scheduled. The WH needed to be replaced and Premier got the job done in a very efficient manner given that it had to be approved by AHS. The communication with Premier throughout was excellent. As the majority of these comments state, this company has terrible customer service, and is nearly impossible communicate with. They have missed their service window with us twice now, with no call or explanation. Both times my husband had taken time off of work to meet with them, too, which just makes it that much more disrespectful. He tried calling after the 2 hour window had lapsed and got an automated response saying to text, but as many others have said, they don't respond to those messages either.
