I have used Gary's Plumbing several times and they are amazing. Unlike many companies, they get you in quickly and when you call the office, you get a person not a machine. They are good at keeping you informed of when they will be at your house. I had them come out for a broken garbage disposal. I thought it was just clogged but they showed me how it was broken and he had the unit on hand so it was repaired quickly. Gary was professional and kind. The work cost was very reasonable and done well. I hope I don't need a plumber any time soon but if I do, I will definitely call Gary's plumbing again. read more

Gary's Plumbing - Business card - Water Heater Installation/Repair Near Me

Gary's Plumbing was recommended to me by my excellent lawn service, Capital Lawn LLC -- reliable and honest, but that's another story -- and I couldn't have been happier with Gary's work. He arrived within the scheduled window, listened carefully, understood the problem, recommended a solution, and gave me a very reasonable estimate. He then completed the job quickly, thoroughly, and neatly, delivering a quality result for exactly the estimated price. If I have another plumbing issue, I wouldn't want to call anyone else. Definitely five stars! read more

Great customer service and they always fit you in and get the job done! Family owned, great people!

Our 20 yr old water heater was leaking so we knew we needed it replaced asap before we completely lost hot water. We called Gary's Plumbing and they were able to squeeze us in within a few days. Gary came out replaced our water heater and all the aging parts, all within a few hours. He was very knowledgeable and honest, and answered all my questions (I had a lot of them). Since I've used Gary's Plumbing before I can honestly say this team of Plumbers is great at what they do and their pricing is competitive. read more

It is rare these days, to call a plumber and actually have a team member answer the phone....I even questioned if I had called an answering service....Nope, it was Gary's wife who answered the phone and got me scheduled the same day for my water heater replacement. They kept me updated of the arrival time and I was amazed at how quickly Gary was able to change out my water heater. Thank you Gary and Erica! read more

7/6/2018: Another late review.. Purchased all new appliances and the name was given to us for the install for the dishwasher. Went well, we used them for installing a hose bib with a new location by our garage door. A perfect and professional install. Also had them run a watermelon in the garage for a future fridge with water and ice.. read more

Gary's Plumbing - Receipt for one project. - Water Heater Installation/Repair Near Me

While shopping for water valves at Western Supply Hardware, I asked a salesman if he knew of a good, reputable plumber I could hire to remove the pop in/out water control valves and install the more simple/dependable ON/OFF valves. The salesman referred me to Garys Plumbing so I placed a call and got an immediate response with an appointment and it was a "Live Person" on the phone -vs- AI that drives me crazy when I have to repeat myself over and over. Gary and his helper showed up on time and were done in about 3 hours after testing for leaks and doing clean-up. Wow there is still something very pleasant about being treated like a customer and getting the job done right. Now I don't have to worry about the plastic valves failing as they are known to do......I don't need the messy clean up. If you have a plumbing need that is a bit out of the ordinary, I recommend Garys Plumbing; they know Plumbing and they will not waste your time. If I could give 6 stars I would, Oh yeah, their invoice was reasonable and they warranty their work. read more

I would not recommend this company, unfortunately. I used them multiple times and was always satisfied with the work and customer service until now. I had my tenant tell me her garbage disposal was leaking that was replaced by this team under a year prior and ran into an unethical situation explained below. I called and let their team know the scenario, that it probably was a 5 minute fix (as all it could be was the mountain bracket) and they said they could not service it for 5/6 days due to being busy. Understandable except for the circumstances. Unfortunately it's not ethical to have a tenant wait this long without a functioning kitchen sink; multiple days let alone almost a week. I proceeded to call another plumber. This plumber stated it was not correctly installed and the screws were not tightened as well that one was not even installed. It ended up being a 5 minute fix for $200. I let the team know prior I would need to call another plumber and that if it was a technician error, that they should consider reimbursement of the invoice, due to the work being less than a year old. I sent them the invoice and asked their thoughts. I immediately was contacted by the technician who was very worked up over the matter and he then belittled me and stated it was on me that I could not wait 5+ days to have them get to it (had zero care or concern that my tenant would not have a working kitchen) and insinuated that my tenant must have unscrewed the screws (which unfortunately is just unprofessional and is not something that made sense). The fact that poor work was done and not warranted is one thing, but to have no desire to admit fault and become aggressive towards me over the matter, made me uncomfortable to the point that I wrote this review. There are many options of plumbers in Reno. This one unfortunately lost my trust and respect and I personally feel they should take this as a learning lesson to better themselves. This company as well accused me of not paying an invoice and tried to collect twice and I had to have my accountant provide evidence I did. That's just not Ok. read more

Gary came to work on my clogged bathroom sinks. He was able to come the same day that I called for help and was at my home within a little over 2 hours from when I called which was amazing! He and his assistant were polite, professional, and worked quickly to solve the problem. Gary gave me a couple of tips that could help keep this problem from this occurring in the future. The price was reasonable in comparison to other quotes I received today. We were extremely pleased with the service we received and highly recommend this company. read more

I recently hired Gary to do a plumbing job related to a new patio area in my backyard. The job required Gary to coordinate his efforts with some concrete work that I was also having done. I found Gary to be knowledgeable and easy to work with. He worked with my other contractor to get the job done when required, did quality work and was competitively priced. It was a pleasure doing business with Gary's Plumbing and I would not hesitate to use them for future plumbing needs. read more

So Happy to have found Gary's Plumbing! I have been looking for a honest, reliable, and talented plumber for some time. Saw referral for Gary's plumbing 1st on Next Door then went to yelp for additional info and a quote. This was for a rental property so we had to orchestrate everything from the arrival of the toilet to tenant/plumber schedule to picking up the toilet. Toilet did not fit due to builder not running the water line properly so toilet had to be returned as well as pick up another for the install. Gary did EVERYTHING without a hitch. Packed up the toilet met me at home depot took the new toilet back and installed it. It's times like this when it would be easy for someone to take advantage. Nope... a professional attitude and job resulted as well as a bill that could have been so much more than what he charged me. He will be my plumber always and I can't refer him enough!!! read more

Requested a quote for Gary's Plumbing through yelp for our garbage disposal that wasn't working and received a response in less than 10 minutes. They showed up at our house less than a day after contacting them. The customer service was excellent. As it turns out our disposal was jammed and Gary was able to fix it right away. He could of easily charged me for the full quote given but since it was an easy fix he only charged me for a few minutes of his time. Erica was prompt and kind as well. I feel like Gary's Plumbing went above and being given this wasn't an emergency by any means and I will be calling them first for any future issues. read more

I am very pleased that a friend recommended Gary. I was panicked when our water heater started leaking. They were very responsive by phone and I sent pictures over. He provided all the documentation I needed to submit to my home warranty. Very professional. read more

I'm pretty sure I forgot to post this review months ago but better late than never. Asked for a monster "garbage disposal" and got that plus an hours worth of great tips and conversation with Gary, or maybe it was Gary's son. Either way, professional, wore a mask and gloves the either time, showed me how it all worked and checked for leaks. Also replaced a gasket that got was old and not part of the replacement for free. Family owner and operated by good local people. Thank you for the great job. read more

Gary was contracted through my home service company to repair my toilet. He came out, took a look at it and said "I've never done one like this, and there only paying $100 they're going to need to fork up more I'll be back tomorrow ". Needless to say I didn't here from him the next day. I called and left a voice mail requesting an updated status. He called me and left a voicemail claiming the previous day had gotten away from him and he apologizes but, we are on the schedule for that day (Friday) between 12-4 but probably closer to 4. What a surprise a no show no call. Very unprofessional I'm not impressed and will speak to my service provider. Also, he's not part of the BBB. read more

We needed a special plumber to fix a urinal. Not an ordinary house toilet! Gary's scheduled a time for the next day. There was a wide window for their job but they worked with me and my busy schedule to call me on the way. He educated me on how urinal flush valves work. The repair fixed the issue and was reasonably priced. (Urinals are pricey). I will use them again for future complicated plumbing needs. read more

Gary is an amazing plumber. Our motel had 3 plumbing issues that needed to get taken care of and on 3 seperate occasions, he delivered! Excellent work, very quick. My bathroom vanity had a broken pipe, below the ground, he jackhammered, he also went above and beyond to fix the pipe by restructuring the system below. Very clean work, doesn't leave a huge mess for us to clean up. Hands down the nicest, straight forward, cut and dry plumber and a great person. I recommend his services to anyone who needs a plumber! I've had my fair share of dealing with multiple plumbers-- His company is father and son, he's very experienced and always has tools handy! Better than 3 other other services we tried where they downplay other companies. Gary is a man of his word and provides excellent service. I can't reiterate enough. read more
