There was a smell emanating from our guest bath. Googling the cause of the smell put me in panic…read moremode. I called Draintech to inquire about a possible sewer leak. Kaelin answered the phone. (on a Sunday) I was expecting to get the answering machine. I described the problem and he calmly walked me through the possible causes. He gave me step-by-step instructions on what might be causing the smell. I wasn't confident that I could fix it myself, so I booked the scheduled visit that following Wednesday anyway. But after hanging up, I tried his instructions. And sure enough it fixed the problem. Long story short, if you have a spare bath that is unused. Not running the flush or shower can cause a ?vacuum? where the sewer smell could escape... (something like that, but don't quote me). I haven't written a review here in years, but wanted to let everyone know that Kaelin (Draintech) is a good and honest business. He could have kept our appointment and I would have happily paid for his visit. But instead gave me the instructions to fix it myself. That's amazing. He didn't get a payment from me this time around, but he earned a faithful customer for any future plumbing issues I might encounter.

On Nov 7, 2021. My mothers septic was having issues in Loomis, Ca. I was very concerned that it would take weeks to get find someone. We phone this company and they came out that same day. Kellen and Michael. Kellen if I am spelling your name wrong, please forgive me. These guys were so professional and cool, it gave me hope for humanity to have two young guys out working. The last year, I have been so disgusted with where this state is going with nobody wanting to work, and the inflation and crime. We had a septic back up around noon on a SATURDAY just after Thanksgiving. We called around to at least a dozen different septic/plumbing businesses and they were 1 of the companies that called us back. I spoke with Corey and he said he was going to contact one of the trucks in our area. I got a txt a couple mins later saying they would be out the same day between 3-5pm. 2 of the guys showed up and had our tank pumped and had us back in working order in less than 30 mins. They even showed my husband a couple of things to look for out for. We will only call pump & dump in the future. They were friendly, fast, and efficient. They come highly recommended! read more

My leach field had a partial failure and in order to repair everything, the tank had to be pumped. Of course, it was on Thanksgiving weekend. I called Pump & Dump and they were here the next day. All of the staff I dealt with were professional, courteous and well-trained. The equipment is clean and maintained and staff even cleaned up after themselves (i.e.: spreading the mulch back where the hose was drug through). They were in and out in a half hour and they price quoted was the price paid. I will be calling Pump & Dump whenever I need septic services and highly recommend them. I am truly impressed! read more

Called every company In Yuba City to pump the septic, not a single company would come to do it. Nobody would return my call, some said they would come out and see what to charge. Never a reply from any of them. So I got on Angies list. Then got a call from Pump and Dump. They set up a appointment within 3 days and did the job. I'm confused they said if it didn't work it would be a 250 refund not 100. Do not use! Do not recommend! Rip off!!! Zero stars.If you are not a plumber then you should not say I will clear the line for an additional 250 and if it doesn't work I won't charge you. The right thing to do would be to say you need a regular plumber if you couldn't do what I needed. Not charge me almost 1000 dollars to not fix the problem I wanted addressed. We talked on the phone also got bombarded by you and your wife via text. There is nothing more to talk about maybe you will be better and more clear and concise or just do the right thing and refund the 250.
