Called in about a problem we were having with our septic, and he took the time to understand the problem, and made a few recommendations, free of cost, for what I could do, and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I appreciate it Dirk! We'll give your advice consideration, and maybe we'll come back to you if we end up needing you to do some work. read more

I called for information regarding septic services for my RV. The owner went above and beyond by helping me find services I needed that went beyond the scope of what his business provided. He didn't need to do that, but he took the time for that. Nice person. read more

Absolutely outstanding customer service. Knowledgeable, professional and very responsive. Gave great advice on how to determine if the service call was necessary. Also spent time educating me about some misconceptions I had about my septic system. I highly recommend this company !!! read more

We needed to replace our septic system and quickly learned that there were few options for contractors in the area that offered full system work like we needed. Those that were around were inundated with work. It took a few tries to get Dirk to come out (he's busy), but we're glad we were persistent. A few things you should know.... He's a no frills guy. He's gonna tell you how it is and not sugar coat it. If you read other reviews you'll learn that some are offended by that. If you can live with that type of communication and somewhat old school business practices then go with Reliable Septic. Dirk is honest, provides quality work, and will beat his competitors in price. read more

Dirk was absolutely great to work with. He and his crew did an excellent job on my moms septic repair, he had to do some thinking "outside the box" to get it done - he's definitely my go to guy for anything septic. His price was much lower than I anticipated, but what I appreciated the most was his commitment to fix my moms septic even with the stumbling blocks that existed! Thank you Dirk for helping my mom out when most others companies would not. read more

My house completely flooded during the storm of the century. I called so many companies just trying to find any to just look in my drains and tell me the problem. Left many messages. Most people just said we dont do that. Dirk answered my calls, gave me good advice for what to do next and penciled me into his busy schedule. He wasn't a jerk. He wasn't rude. He didnt even make me any promises. His kindness during a time where kindness is hard to find is why I am writing this review. Thank you Dirk. read more

Reliable Septic - Septic Services Near Me

I have used septic tank pumping services from many companies in the past 25 years (once every 3 years). I never have experienced such disgusting services as with this company. All the past companies had told me my septic tank capacity is 750 gallons. This RS, when we talked on the phone, agreed that their fee is $450. They showed up 2 hours late, then after pumping, told me that my tank is bigger than 750 gallons and wanted to charge me $650. When I said no to their demand, the serviceman started cursing and said the F word to me many times and was extremely rude as well as violent to the point that I was about to call 911. This is not what I expected from these good reviews in this forum. He demanded cash (I paid cash) and he drove off without providing me a receipt. I would never recommend this RS to anyone. SUPER RULE & DISHONEST. read more

Very rude customer service. I am a small business owner and am astounded that someone could be so curt, unprofessional, and rude. I don't care how busy you are or how stressed you are it is never a reason to be unprofessional and straight RUDE. read more

We had a dreaded septic situation arise over Thanksgiving. We have two septic tanks on our property and one was causing our in-law house sewage backup. We called Dirk on "Black Friday" and he was out within a couple of hours to help inspect. We couldn't find the tank lids since they were under dirt, but Dirk provided us with a lot of advise and my husband started digging. Fortunately we had good luck and found the lids within a couple of hours. Dirk was back out the same day to pump and relieve our plumbing issues! Thank you, Dirk! read more

Negative: Really poor customer service. Did not show up on time x2. Called to say my check didnt go through, gave him Credit card over phone. He charged me an extra $25 with no permission or receipt, stating my tank was fuller than normal and he dug out a hole for me. He never called to discuss these concerns for increase charge. When questioned, he was sarcastic and rude; it was his banks mistake, not mine. Doesnt even look like tank was emptied. He stated fuller than normal. Never told me he wasnt able to fully empty. Positive: refunded my $25, after stressful text. Was initially nice until there was a hitch in the get a long. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND read more

Highly recommend! Dirk is straight forward with no smoke & mirrors like I've experienced in the past. Great rates and very knowledgeable and experienced in his line of work. He's very reliable and lives up to the company name. I'm never disappointed with his work and has helped me for years and many more to come! Give him a call you won't be disappointed. Thanks Dirk you're the best!!! read more

Had an appointment for a Thursday, took time off work and the guy never showed, he called and rescheduled for the following Tuesday, made arrangements to have someone be here, again he didn't show, he called and said Friday, well he flaked again! How does a business operate like this? We went with a different company. Good thing it wasn't an emergency. read more

We had a buzzer alarm going off on our septic system and called Reliable Septic. I talked to Dirk who was busy but took the time to listen to my situation and talk me through the fix. Fortunately my problem was a simple one and from a picture I sent him he was able to help me remedy the problem. Dirk saved me time, frustration, and money. I appreciate that kind of business. I will use Reliable again anytime I have septic issues read more

I called Sunday and Dirk (the owner) said he could be out Monday afternoon. He was there on time Monday. Our septic clean out was very hard to find, one of the 2 lids was buried 4 ft deep. Kirk grabed a shovel and dug it out. I think that went way beyond his job description. I can't say enough good about Dirk, he was terrific. Oh I forgot to mention he also snaked my clean out for me (not his job). read more

Dirk was great! Showed up on time and was extremely helpful and professional. We will always rely on them to help with our septic system.

We had an emergency situation one late Saturday. Dirk, from Reliable Septic, showed up on short notice, in an hour and a half. He did a good, honest job, answered my questions and gave me good solutions for issues that I know I had with my septic tank. I would recommend him and hope that you would have a great experience with him as well. read more
