I booked Easy Peasy about 2 weeks before the move, and they explained the quote including double driving time, which is understandable. The problems I had were with the actual service: 1. The guys showed up a few minutes later than the agreed upon time, which I wouldn't normally care if the service was okay. 2. They took 2 hours loading everything on to the truck. I had moved everything, I mean everything except for big furniture like my bed, couch, table, etc., downstairs in the lobby only several feet away from where they parked the truck. The guys took almost 30 minutes moving the couch down the stairs, which is primarily why I decided to hire a moving company. I understand it was a big couch, but they wrapped the couch without removing the cushions which made the couch enormous and couldn't fit it through the doors down the stairwell. Afte trying for 20 or so minutes, they finally decided to unwrap the sofa, and bring down the couch one piece at a time. The guys were otherwise decent, but I think this one particular moment wasn't their finest moment. 3. It took me a little less than 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to my new apartment in Sacramento from the old apartment in Berkeley, but they for some reason counted 1 hour 45 minutes of driving time (double it, and it's extra 30 minutes). I understand they're driving a truck and I'm driving my Toyota Camry, but a 15-minute difference? Hmm... a little sketchy. After they unloaded everything into the apartment, the guy doing the paperwork of course made sure to mention that the total charge does not include tips. I mean, dude, what about the time you spent on the couch? And the 15 minutes you added to the driving time? Of course I didn't say any of this aloud and just tipped them, but I don't think I'll ever go with Easy Peasy again. Not happy at all. read more

100% hands down the best moving experience I have ever had from the booking, to the actual move, to the payment afterwards. This is by far the least stressful move I have ever had. Before the move I coordinated via yelp to arrange a move date and price. BTW, this is the absolute best price you will find in the bay area. Trust me, I researched a while and these guys were the best priced. The day of the move, the guys showed up right on time and after taking a few moments to review the contract, they got started. These guys were efficient, fast and most importantly, Covid compliant with masks the entire time. As soon as I saw them wrap my furniture and load the truck, I knew I was in good hands. Once we arrived at the new place they asked for my direction for where the furniture went and within an hour, everything was set up perfectly. In total from start to finish it was about 4.5 hours including 35 mile drive time and I came in way below what I intended to spend. We moved a very packed two bedroom for family of three. Yelaman was very professional and did everything we wanted from packing to unpacking. Because we had a lot of stuff, it took 10 hours for 5 people. All the staff worked constantly till the end until there are no boxes left to open. First off all let me start with that this was the only company that replied to me within 30 min. I Urgently needed movers to help me move 3 bedroom house. I sent requests to many moving companies through yelp on Sunday evening, requesting movers for next day. But easy pease movers were the only one to get back to me that evening. Next day they showed up at 8 am as requested. 4 movers wearing mask, using gloves and shoe covers started immediately. It was easy to communicate, they followed all my instructions. What I also like while watching movers were very accurate, like they do care about every item they packed. I am a mom of 3 kids, and we do have lots of stuff. Packing and handling was super easy, they had all the items ready: boxes, stretch wrap. Even cardboard wardrobe for my clothes:) I was surprise how easy this move was:) The only "no" is that they did not have enough girls working in the company. As I requested 3 girls to pack and unpack my personal items, there were only 2 girls. But that did not affect the way they handled my whole move.
