July 15th. 115 degrees. 2 kids, 2 dogs. Ac goes out. EAST VALLEY AIR to the rescue! After several calls and a search on Yelp, Dave easily agreed to come right over after his last job of the night (at 7:30pm). Within an hour he had diagnosed and remedied the problem and handed us a very reasonable bill. I will recommend them highly to anyone with any ac needs. Thank you, East valley Air! read more

Our A/C was working fine one minute and the next it sounded like a 747 was going to come through our roof and we had to shut it off. 5 o'clock on a Sunday evening... I called our regular A/C guy who is literally a friend of a friend and he apologized and said he was slammed and couldn't be out to us for a few days. So we turned to Yelp and found East Valley Air. Gave Dave a call - and he answered. Explained what was going on and he said he'd be over in a few minutes. True to his word, he arrived quickly, grabbed his ladder and tools, and headed up onto our roof. He had a guess at what the problem may be before going up and he was correct - a brace for the blower motor had snapped leaving two arms to do the work of three. No wonder it sounded so awful. He took the whole assembly piece down and headed off to grab some parts. Returned quickly with a cleaned off assembly and a newly installed brace. Put it all back together and headed on his way. We were super happy until the house began getting hot. The system was running quietly but was no longer cooling. Texted Dave and he stopped by in the morning, went back up on the roof, discovered the issue, fixed it, and we had cool air in the house again rather quickly. Can't say enough about the guy. Prompt, courteous, hard worker, and fair on pricing. We definitely recommend him for your A/C needs. read more

Called Dave at East Valley Air at 6 pm as my AC just went out, he literally just says text me the address. I text him, and was going to give him about 15 min before I did a follow up call to confirm he received it. Next thing I know a knock at my door, he's here in less than 15 min. It's one of the coolest things watching someone like Dave, who is clearly an expert at his trade, has a pocket for every tool he needs and is able to pull it out without even breaking eye contact with me as he's telling me what he's testing or fixing. Highly recommended! read more

David came out at 7:30 pm tonight and fixed our AC. I am struggling with medical conditions abs the heat was unbearable. None of the big name brand companies could make it out for days. He came right over and got it up and running for us in like 15 minutes. A life safer! Would definitely recommend east valley air! Thank you again, David! read more

I've used Dave twice. Once a couple years back my ac quit, it was after hours. He came after he finished supper. A capacitor was replaced and found another minor issue. The cost was half of what I paid for an exact same problem 15 yrs earlier. This last visit my brother had bought a park model that had never had the ac serviced. Dave checked it out all was good and didn't charge a thing cause it took so little time. Yeah he's a trump supporter and maybe a little crusty but he does nt rip you off. read more

I'd give less stars if possible. The tech, who turns out to be the owner Dave, refused to inspect my broken AC unit at my residence when he showed up after being requested to wear a mask. He told me its all political crap and to call someone else to do it. The unprofessionalism couldn't be overstated. If you have any sense, you'll steer clear of companies like this one, putting personal politics (trump insignia all over company truck) over the customers request for safety, unbelievable. After contacting to request a complaint, he told me it doesn't matter and proceeded to make sarcastic and rude remarks simply because I asked he wear a mask when he comes into my home. My daughter and I are immunocompromised, and this man is in the wrong business to deal with people. 0 stars read more

Dave from East Valley Air was thorough and good and honest. He fixed my mother-in-laws AC on a Sunday when we were out of town. It was a simple fix and he didn't overcharge at all. read more

I called him at 6pm when I got home from work and my AC was broken. He came over and had me back and running by 7:15pm. Honest and fair. I would highly recommend! read more

Came home after picking up my children from school and the house seemed unusually warm. Waited a bit and finally decided to call someone at the house temp was 88 and slowly creeping up. One of the few AC repair business open at 6:00pm was Dave. Within an hour (possibly less) he was at our house and hard at work fixing the problem. He was kind, humble, knowledgeable and took pride in his profession. The final price for service was reasonable and the service was excellent. Will definitely call Dave back in the future if needed. read more

Honest and fast! Had another company scam me and tell me I needed a new a thermal expansion valve to the tune of $900.00 and they couldn't get to it for 2 days. Dave of East Valley Air showed up and quickly found the problem was a seized fan motor, not the valve. He fixed my air and had us back in a cool comfortable climate same day, in about an hour. Pricing was great! Service was amazing! East Valley Air is my new go to for all my air conditioning needs. I highly recommend them! Thank you Dave!!! read more

Dave was able to come out immediately after my a/c broke. Once the a/c system was repaired, he gave me a very favorable repair rate along with great advice on maintain my system. He even called to check up on me to make sure everything was still running great after he repaired my unit. He gives excellent service with great service rates. read more

Prompt, friendly, knowledgeable service. Keeping his number and recommending!! Thank you, Dave.

Dave was awesome! He is very easy to reach and communicative. Our AC stopped working and the house was unbearable but he was able to show up the same day and fix the problem fast! Would definitely be calling him again as soon as I need any HVAC help! read more

This will be short and to the point. I called East Valley Air today, and was greeted with a very rude and angry guy by the name of Dave. Dave sound agitated, irritated and in his words "Busy!, too busy for small talk, What do you want?" He was rude, unprofessional and nasty. He went on to tell me that if I did don't like to call someone else! I understand that it is hot in Arizona however, this is the business that he is in. As a customer, I expect professional conduct and a civil conversation. If this is his attitude before taking a job, what would it be like after he was paid. I've had better service from the DMV. Do not wast your time. read more

My air conditioning system had a leak, but I didn't know it. I called East Valley and they came and didn't check what was wrong, but instead charged me $560 for "7lbs of Freon" and left. The next day the air conditioner was not working again. This time I called another company and they said there was a leak and there was NO WAY that 7 lbs if Freon was added because there was nothing in the system. So basically I got charged and ripped off!! read more

I don't provide many reviews on Yelp but I have to share the great service that Dave from East Valley Air provided. Called him around 4:30 PM and was at my house by 5:30 PM and spent at least 2-3 hours searching and locating the problem with the AC unit. The next day, Dave came in early and fixed the problem. Others were recommending replacing the furnace, coil, and condenser and charging an arm and a leg. Dave provided the best service and price. Dave was very direct, courteous, HONEST and knowledgeable. The other reviews might be true but you have to understand these guys work 12 hour days in 110* degree. I rather have someone do a good job and fix the problem than having to pay a technician multiple times or in my case replace a fairly new system. If you have and Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC issues, please call Dave first, you won't regret it. read more

I called Dave around 4:30 Sunday evening and he fixed my AC by 7:30 Sunday evening. While I talked to him on the phone, my husband met with him in person. He was very professional and very reasonable with his services. We will definitely be using him again for yearly tune ups. We really appreciate him! read more

I'm not sure how I forgot to review Dave! I found him 10 years ago when my A/C broke. I couldn't find anyone to come out after hours. There was only a couple companies that answered their phone, but the fee for after hours was too much or they couldn't make it out until late the next day. He owns and runs the company and every time I have called him he has been at my house within an hour or two. Besides his prices being better than anyone out there...he is Honest. He never tries to sell me anything I don't need. Even if I ask if I should spend money on something...he will advise me that it's not needed. I won't use anyone else ever! read more

While on vacation the a/c unit went out and my dog was still home. The dog sitter called to inform us the house was at 92 degrees. I called East Valley Air and they quickly fixed our A/C, and even double checked the warranty for us. They were awesome, fast, and cheap. I highly recommend there service. read more

I can't say enough good things about East Valley Air. Our ac went out over night on a Saturday and EVA was able to come out on Sunday morning and got us all fixed up. Dave was very friendly and explained everything as he went along. Great service! read more

Had to write a second stellar review. Living in AZ ESPECIALLY in the midst of this dreadful heat wave, come to find out that my AC unit went out AGAIN! Naturally, I turned to Dave to see if he could come take a look to see what the issue was this time. He was at my door within 20 minutes of me calling him! None of this bogus waiting a week for someone to come to my house. Dave is ON TOP of it. He came out, changed out my filter, climbed up on the roof, found out my SECOND capacitor went out, replaced it and within minutes, I have ice cold air again. Thanks DAVE! You've officially become my Go To Guy! read more

East Valley Air is awesome! I called to get my ac fixed and Dave got here in just an hour or two. Service was quick and the price was very reasonable. Dave was very friendly and a very honest guy. I would happy to call this place if I ever run into ac problem again. read more

My A/C was giving me problems, so I went onto yelp and found Dave from East Valley Air. Dave was out to my house within 30 mins and did an excellent job fixing my a/c unit. I would highly recommend Dave's work to anyone having difficulty with their a/c unit. read more

One word: HONESTY. Dave must be the most honest man in the business. I have known this guy for years and had worked both in my home and my previous business. This guy delivers what he says and will deal with you truthfully. He will tell you exactly what the problem is and give you all the options to save you gobs of money. He will not replace any part if he deems they're usable and can be fixed. He is fast and efficient. And did I tell you how HONEST he is? :) read more

If you need a good A/C guy, you found him. Dave at East Valley Air is a local business worth supporting. I've had the occasion to use his services twice now, and both times he had my A/C back up and running in a matter of hours - once even in a Sunday morning. And that in summer when he is working long hours seven days a week in the Arizona heat. Dave provides service that is honest and fair in price, and went into business for himself because he was tired of seeing people ripped off. He did a great job for me both times; calling him the second time was a no brainer. If you're unfortunate enough to have nonworking A/C, don't pay for the advertisements of the "big guys." Save time yourself time and money and give Easy Valley Air a call. read more

Big con artists in scheduling appointment Ron, at office, makes first appointment. They do not turn up in window and on day provided; when I call he says it was for next day which was not true (one of us miss work waiting in 4 hr window). Next day the tech comes and does things and says it is fixed and takes the money. Later that day we find AC is still blowing hot. We call them back and schedule appointment. On appointment day and mid way in window, Ron calls and says tech had personal emergency and cannot come that day (again I miss work waiting for tech). He schedules for next day. Next day, during appointment window Ron calls and says cannot make that morning and can only make midday (meanwhile we did not go to work waiting) and there is nothing else he can do. Do not believe in what this company says read more

Fixed the issue but right after he left the thermostat went out and tried calling him back with no response. $200 for nothing!

Quick service and our house is nice and cool! I highly recommend East Valley Air! I'm definitely going to use this company in the future.

Very disappointed. Came out yesterday and Dave said wasn't going to fix today had 6 jobs after. Was supposed to come back today to fix but he decided not to do the job after we waited the whole day for him to come back. He has been rude and nasty to talk to on a previous encounter. I will not recommend him to anyone I know. read more

I can not tell you how grateful I am for Dave! I noticed mid day today (Sunday) that something was wrong with my air conditioning. It was getting hot in my home way too fast. I called Dave and he was here within 90 minutes and had my air running less than 10 minutes later. Plus, it only cost me a very low trip charge since it was an easy fix. Air conditioning is life in AZ and I'm so happy to get mine back. Dave is my new A/C guy forever! read more

I wish had the same experience everyone else did. Although they were very prompt at getting out and fixing the issue, they made two separate trips. The first was to install a new capacitor which took him 10 minutes. Paid $160.00 which was fine because it was a weekend day and he was very quick, even though the piece itself is at max $40.00. Then my ac wouldn't get below 80 so I had to call him back out, he comes out and tells me I'm low on freon ( which all the websites say if a tech tells you that you needs more you're either being scammed or you have a leak ). After confronting him and asking if I had a leak I got a really crummy answer of " probably, but I don't have hours to spend here looking for it. " when asked why he did not examine the whole ac while out here the first time his response was " when you take a car to eat an oil changed, they don't look at you brakes also. " anyways, another $160.00 for poor attitude and him yelling at my husband for 10 minutes in my kitchen. Just had a new company come out that found the leak in 2 minutes and fixed it. Will not be using easy valley air ever again. read more

Wow wow wow I had the most negative and bizarre interaction with a technician on the phone! While I was telling him what happened to my ac unit he cut me off and said, "You just don't shut up, do you?" I was shocked and didn't know what to say except "what?" He repeated it again and went on asking for my address as if nothing had happened! I even apologized if I had cut him off. I explained to him that I could barely hear him so it wasn't intentional. Before anything was confirmed I wanted to set things right with him. I apologized AGAIN for interrupting him and said if he showed up at my door I needed us to be cool, and that meant he couldn't say those things to me because it was disrespectful. I was in the middle of saying I wanted us to respect each other when he HUNG UP. I felt compelled to write this review. In fact it's my first one. Please understand that he's not just someone at the office he's a tech. If you make an appointment with this company you will have to deal with this man-child at your house. This happened last Thursday, the 27th. read more

I called East Valley on Sunday, hoping to get a phone call early Monday to discuss a few concern with my A/C unit. To my surprise, Dave picked up the phone and answered my questions. I was expecting him to try to sell me the typical service call. He was honest enough to tell me that he could inspect the unit but there was not a real reason to spend the money. What are the chances of a contractor saying that? I had him on the phone, So I also asked him about installing a smart thermostat. A couple of months, I was thinking about getting an EcoBee, but tech support suggested hiring a professional due to the complexity of my setup (have to run a common wire to the unit). I asked Dave how much would it cost me and the price sounded reasonable. When I asked about an opening in his schedule to install it, he said he could do it the same day. I ran to the store and three hours later I had my EcoBee up and running. To me that is the way a business should build a clientele- outstanding customer service! read more
