They're reasonably priced and they did the job they were tasked to do. I think they're a solid 4.5 stars but I rounded up. My only issue is the amount of time it took to fix. In their defense, they were upfront with this information and I could've picked up my laptop and took it elsewhere. All in all I think they had the device nearly a month. It took a while to figure out what was wrong. Then it took a while to get the part. And then it took a while to fix. Thanks to Yelp reviewers because I took it there based on their 5 star reviews. read more

This is the only shop that I would bring my computer. There's no doubt that they are honest. They're straight on what they can repair and what they can't or what I shouldn't at the time I bring it in. If they can't repair it and don't do any special work to get to that point, they won't charge me. Shops I've worked with in the past have always required a $25 upfront fee. They'll always get my business. read more

This is my #1 go-to computer repair establishment. I've always been computer savvy but didn't want to risk ruining a brand new GPU. I called his shop 1 hour before closing, on a Saturday evening to see if he could do the install. I was given the go. They installed my GPU and power supply all while allowing me to watch, and explained the steps to me. Their prices are excellent and the service is phenomenal. Geek Squad will never be able to hold a candle to this type of shop. read more

I got tricked into letting someone on line access my computer to help with my Microsoft Office 365. I quickly kicked them out but too late. My PC was locked. I took it to East Coast Computers (ECC) and met Lacy the owner. He is fantastic. He checked my laptop to make sure there were no trojans, cleaned out excess cookies, malware etc, and took the time to educate us on how to keep our computers safer. Too top it off, his charge to help us was incredibly inexpensive! Highly recomment ECC for repairs, diagnostics and sales. Low pressure and friendly. read more

Cannot say enough great things about Lacey and his team! Got the blue screen on our gaming desktop. Called them out on Saturday and was super happy that they were open! Went in, dropped off the desktop, did a quick diagnosis, and said he'd have it back up and running. Promised for the following Wednesday and it was ready an hour and a half later! That's what I call reliable and responsive! Thanks to the team, my kids were back gaming in no time! Thank you and would definitely recommend going to them for all of your computer needs! read more

Excellent service. Good price. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I'm pretty savvy with computer things, but while in town dealing with some family issues I ran into a problem with my mother's computer. The previous day I had bought a PCI wifi card from East Coast computers. I spent 2 hours trying to get the thing to work, then gave up. The next day I brought the computer by East Coast computers and for only $25 they resolved the problem in less than 10 minutes. For that low of a price I should have had them install the device to begin with. It turns out the problem was related to conflict between a firewall program and the wireless card. I probably would have figured that out after another couple hours of trying, but why deal with the stress. Thank You East Coast computers for doing such a good job so quickly. I don't give away 5 star reviews easily. This one was well earned. read more

This computer store is just what I was looking for. The owner knows computers and is very helpful. He explained my computer problem quickly and gave me options to fix the problem. Let me start off by saying this place is equivalent to that hole in the wall burrito shop that makes your favorite burrito of all time! I originally went to best buy to have my case swapped and they tried to charge me more than double the price here. Lacey did an amazing job with my cable management! What would have taken bestbuy 3 days, he was able to do in about two hours! This guy is a computer making machine! Also, did I mention the price point? Dirt cheap, and when I offered him more money for the job he refused. Honest hard working people still exist! Any future computer needs, East coast computers is my new spot. Ps, he had to take apart the frankenstein computer i put together my self with my attempt at cable management. read more

I don't know where to start with this review, my son is into computers so we recently purchased his first gaming computer, and he decided to do quite a few upgrades to it. He did his research and happened to find East Coast computers. So when my laptop went out I decided to drop it off to them...so while waiting on my laptop I decided to go ahead and get the upgrades installed on my son's computer. I call in regards to the upgrades he told us to bring them in, when we got there he let us know that it's something that can be done right then. He goes back and starts working on it, my son is very inquisitive and wanted to watch him work on it. He asks if he could watch him work on it, and without hesitation he told him to come on back. He took his time and explained it as he worked on it, he answered every question he had. My son can talk all day when it comes to technology...so I'm very impressed with his professionalism, and patience. Thank you so much East Coast Computers you definitely live up to every review. read more

Lacy is awesome. He is very knowledgeable and so helpful. My wife and I came in earlier this year to get help with our laptop. We were running out of storage space. He put a program in to increase storage space. He provided us with some helpful things to keep our laptop running smoothly. He is personable and fair. I came in recently to get help setting up my new Ipod. Once again Lacy was on top of his game. It is so refreshing to receive excellent customer service. I was scammed into providing my email list contacts and other important information and also allowed this group pretending to be Microsoft to remote control my computer. Not a good thing at all, when I realized I was a victim I didn't know who to turn to. I remembered seeing the sign for East Coast Computers so I called them early morning (they were not even open as yet for the day) the person who answered and was very helpful and even went so far to take my number saying he would have someone call me right back. Within the hour I received a call from Ron who advised me he could come over at 11:30a - 12:00p. He did, and spent much time backing up, reinstalling windows programs, upgraded memory for this computer not to mention all the VERY Good helpful instruction he provided. He saved my files, my sanity and gave me much hope that there are really good savvy computer specialists available to me to count on from now on. read more
