I told him exactly what the issue was, to bypass the bit locker. He didn't need to diagnose it. I was told the repairs would take a week. One week passes, I get no call or update. I called and was told that it was a lot of work and he needs another week. Another week passes, I hear absolutely nothing, no follow-up call from the company. I called 2x more and was THEN told that they are really busy and backed up and needed another week. Another week....is all I could get from him as an update. Its been 1 month and a full week and he still never fixed it, nor did he ever call me to provide an update. I finally had had it and went to pick up my laptop and not use his business. He had taken some time to even locate my laptop when we asked for it back. I should have been more aware when I came there, as the store is literally stuffed from front door to the back and ceiling with electronics, in disarray and barely any space to walk in there. I should have been told at drop off how backed up they were, that it would take a while to even get to my laptop from the start. Had I known that, I never would have left it there to begin with. They also refused to give my $40.00 deposit back. Im guessing they need it more than I do. I do not, recommend this business at all. Unprofessional and deceitful regarding repair time frames and never reaching out to give me an update, not once.

He was super honest, gave us lots of helpful advice, and further info on what could and couldn't really be done to fix it. I foolishly bought a PC from Amazon for Christmas last year that had a very outdated operating system trying to run the newest versions of software and it just couldn't handle it, on top of some other things my daughter had done that were burning up the memory. Got home, followed his advice and so far so good! Will definitely use them again if the situation presents itself and highly recommend!!

Well he found this place and off the laptop goes. The tech seemed knowledgeable and very nice to work with. He gave us a turn around time, though it seemed such a long stretch of 2 weeks, we had no choice because now it's in the tech's hand. 3 weeks later...we got it back and it worked fine for 2 days until it started going buzzzzerk!!! It kept crashing, programs on the laptop would not boot up, the mouse wouldn't move, I mean the list goes on. We took it back to the shop and again the tech promised he can get it fix, no problem. He got in touch with us a couple days and there were additional fees to fix it because he had to reinstall a new mother board. My husband laptop hasn't been the same since he brought it to this shop and now it looks like he will just need a new one. Bottom line, don't go here if you value your electronics!

In their defense, they were upfront with this information and I could've picked up my laptop and took it elsewhere. All in all I think they had the device nearly a month.
