My lord, am I happy I stumbled across this GEM!!! I came across Ease Spa in my search for a birthday experience for my sister. I had done my fair share of reading reviews of different treatments, and I felt this was the best fit. I originally had a bit of difficulty booking online, so I reached out to the provided number, and received a response almost instantly! We booked two simultaneous "Self Love" treatments as well as blow outs to complete the service. From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of. Our estheticians, Nicole & Cassie, were incredibly warm and accommodating. The service itself consisted of an amazing lymphatic facial, as well as a mind-blowing circulatory scalp treatment. The products they used were gentle and all natural, and you could tell the staff were incredibly experienced! While I would love to selfishly keep this place a secret for myself, it deserves all the HYPE. Do yourself a favor a book here. Set your expectations low if you visit this spa. I booked a 50 minute session...it was finished in 40 minutes and they have you leave with a sopping wet head of hair. They do not blow dry unless you pay extra evidently. Plenty of time to do it as they ended 10 minutes early. I had mascara on expecting a head spa/scalp treatment and the lady rubbed my eyes with a wet towel despite seeing I have mascara on. It was a less than mediocre experience. I'll never return here again. $135 wasted! read more

I can't recommend Ease Spa enough. What an awesome experience! This was my first, but definitely not my last, scalp treatment/massage. I got the Self Love package and I'm so glad I went with the longer treatment. I ended up falling asleep halfway through. The treatment included a lymphatic facial massage and I did an add on blow out afterwards. My hair still felt soft and bouncy 2 whole days later. The staff was so nice and took time to explain everything first so I would know what to expect. There are 2 different spaces so you can go at the same time as someone else. I am not one to write reviews, but I feel compelled to write this being that I'm in the industry and I was very much looking forward to this treatment. As I said, I work in the beauty industry, and the idea that I spent 200 dollars on this service has me absolutely beside myself for a number of reasons- -For that price I would expect higher quality cleansing products- they used sulfate heavy shampoo/conditioner -I would think a consultation form would be essential to best treat each clients needs. My friend and I were given nothing of the sort. I have naturally wavy hair, and the motions that were being used on the scalp of my head with a very sudsy drying shampoo felt as though it was just tangling/knotting the root of my hair(a big no no for waves/curls) so much so that I asked the technician, and she assured me that wasn't the case- but I very clearly felt her brushing out the knots she created once conditioner was applied. Honestly I have never walked out of a wellness service feeling far worse then when I arrived- and for such a high price at that. Maybe it was just my technician, but if that's the case I hope the owner addresses the issue. I wish I didn't have to write this, but this was an absolutely awful experience and I'm so disappointed. read more

Nothing extraordinary about this place. Don't expect to get or receive any type of scalp treatment or massage from this place. What do u get? You get a shampoo and conditioner, which u can do it by yourself at home, and expect your face and neck get all lathered or should I say thickened w the most lotion /cream. Your scalp don't get any special massages. Oh and yeah there's a lot of pauses, while you're lying on the bed waiting for something special on your scalp to happen. But what do you get ? You can hear your person texting and basically waiting for the time to be over. Oh and yeah you sign up for a 50min treatment, they were late for about 20 minutes to start your treatment and they treat you for 40 minutes only! As soon as you are done they let you sit in the chair in front of a mirror, take your hair towel, brush your very wet hair for a second, and literally leave you soaked! At least my friends person offered her a bottle of water, while mine looked at me and forced herself to ask me if I needed water. I was appalled by the service that we got in this place. My friends person also asked my friend if she wants her to blow dry her hair for a minute bcuz literally we were soaking wet there. And what did my person do? Nothing! She just looked at me and too busy grabbing her phone and left. Can't believe I paid $135 for a very crappy service! Such inaccurate website and store advertisement! This place is no comparison whatsoever to any head spas in San Gabriel! I will never ever going back into this place again! One star only for the candles and the blanket provided in that teeny tiny room. But zero star for service and quality of the scalp treatment! read more

I can't even put into words how amazing this was. I got the 80-minute Self Love treatment. Richard is amazing. I've been a massage therapist for 22 years, so I'm really picky with my massages, and his was excellent. My hair and scalp are so clean and smell SO GOOD. The staff was indeed very friendly and welcoming. The location was very Zen and nice. I just did not feel like I got my money's worth. It is not worth paying over a hundred bucks. At least not for on-the-go treatment. I was expecting more of a relaxed massage rather than a normal hair/scalp wash and scrub. The movements were a bit aggressive at some point. I barely had a shoulder massage that lasted 5 seconds. I am not sure if I loved the neck massage/stretch. I would have liked a little warning. I was just told to inhale and exhale. My neck surely cracked but I was not ready for it. I also got the 30 minute on the go package. Perhaps that's what "on the go" really means?! Either way, would not pay over 100 bucks. You can try it out for yourself. Or maybe purchase the more expensive treatment. It may be better and surely they will take their time and won't feel as rushed. read more
