Madison is truly an artist with hair color! I'm new to the area, and it had been 5+ months since anyone touched my hair, so the color was looking really sad. I couldn't wait any longer because my wedding is coming up in 2 months, but I was really nervous to let someone new touch my hair. As someone who's been getting my hair colored for 15+ years, it's very rare for a colorist to perfectly deliver on what you're looking for, but Madison did just that! I have waited a a long time to write this review but I can no longer keep her a secret. Nicole is the best hairdresser I have had the pleasure of getting to know. I have naturally curly hair that is very fine. You would think I am nearly balding at times. Lol I originally came to her a year or so ago because I had a color mis hap that had left me an almost redhead. Of course she fixed it, and I have been faithful to her since. Throughout this time we have worked through color changes highlights and styles and most recently extensions. I never knew how truly exceptional this woman was until I realized the work she had put into familiarizing herself with so many different techniques of extensions. And I am even more impressed that she holds true to her word of which ones are right for you and your hair, and what hair or type of extensions she refuses to use. I work retail and am faced with tons of people daily and get nothing but compliments on how beautiful my hair is. No one can ever believe they are extensions. (And of course that I would admit to it) The craziest part is that after I first had them put in, I went to dinner immediately after. SERVICE & HAIR // This was the first time I've ever dyed my hair, and I am IN LOVE with how it turned out thanks to Madison! I got a balayage that looks almost natural. My hair is a darker brown and the lowlights are a golden color. The whole process took maybe around 3 hours, with a slight trim and curls. Both Madison and Nicole are also very friendly. My hair feels so soft and I am definitely coming back in the future. PARKING & LOCATION // the shop is located inside a glass complex building on the corner of 16th and PCH. I passed it at first. Parking was easy when I arrived around 2:30, but coming out around 6:30 it was packed. Probably because of the gym that's downstairs. Anyways, it is on the top floor inside called salon something, I can't recall. You have to walk through the hallway along other small hairstylists, pretty cool.
