Thank you Madison for taking the time and transforming my look! I got a balayage, cut and style and am so happy with the results. Madison got me exactly the color I wanted while making sure my hair would stay healthy and even repair my partly broken hair-structure with an olaplex treatment. After moving to the US, I took a very long time to decide on a new go-to salon in the South Bay and am so happy I found studio 26. Nicole and Madison are super nice. I will definitely come back. read more

Wow!! Obsessed isn't the word! I decided to get a hair cut last minute and instead of trekking all the way up to Hollywood for my usual spot lol Madison did not disappoint! I showed her a photo and before I knew it I was getting the best scalp massage in the a surprisingly comfy chair (we all know those chairs can kill your neck lol) When it came to cutting I really just let Madison do her thing, after all she is the professional! After about 20 minutes of laughing and great conversation we were done! I couldn't be happier with my new look! I will 100% being going back and cannot recommend her enough! read more

Madison was really lovely, patient and caring! She checked on me constantly to see if I am doing ok or needed anything. Cared if I liked how the color came out, she actually changed the color two times to get it to my desired color! Spent an extra hour and did not rushed or anything. Took her time to blow dry and curl my hair and I loved the way that my hair came out! read more

I have been to a lot of hairdressers in my day and Nicole is by far the best. She listens to what you want and makes it happen. I am one of those people that like to try new things but also doesn't want to change so I am kind of difficult. She will make little suggestions here and there and I always love what she comes up with. I go to her every few weeks to touch up my roots and she is quick and the color is perfect every time. I am so happy to see her in her own salon. The decor is so simple and classy. She only carries the best products and always has what I need. Can't say enough nice things!! read more

***** Since Yelp won't let me give 10 stars, I'll just add my own. Madison is amazing!! After a botched bleach job and haircut from another salon, she saved my hair. I've been wanting grey/silver hair for years and I finally got it, thanks to Madison. She brought my hair back to life. I was rocking the geisha-girl top bun forever bc I was so embarrassed to have my hair down. She was really sweet to accommodate my work schedule and even came in on her day off. I can't say enough about this place. The decor is fun but not too loud. They've got current gossip mags to keep you busy. I felt right at home. Madison and Nicole were super sweet and super friendly. Madison didn't sugar coat anything when it came to my hair. She told me what I needed to do to get my hair where I wanted it to be. I wish I found her a long time ago. I would've saved myself so much time and money. You wanna go silver? Go to Madison. You want a good cut? Go to Madison. You want a chimpanzee design in your hair? Go to Madison. This chick does everything! Just remember where you park your car in the parking structure. No joke. I couldn't find my car for like 20 mins. But at least I was rockin' a bad ass 'do. read more

Madison is incredible. She is so intuitive with hair, watching her work is so amazing, she doesn't get intimidated by my demands, she's detailed, diligent, patient, effortless, efficient. My hair lasts me a year! When I went really blonde she catered her formulas for my ends too, two different colors per foil which was a detail I really appreciated cause she took care of the integrity of my hair! I just get trims with her in between and my color lasts over a year! She's amazing. She also has an awesome personality. Her business partner Nicole is so talented too! I've sent so many people to them. I'm a hairstylist as well and I'm so picky and referring people gets tricky but the girls here at studio twenty six are so good at what they do, I love the products they use too. They also are always going to classes and hosting classes so they're always in the know with new techniques! read more

I can't say enough good things about Studio Twenty Six!! I am new to the area and did a LOT of research on salons in Manhattan, Redondo and Hermosa Beach. These gals had STELLAR reviews and I loved the work that their clients had shared...I went with my gut and booked a full color with Madison! I was warmly welcomed into the salon by Nicole and put the girls up to a challenge by going red for the first time. They collaborated together to give me the perfect color & I am so grateful to have found a new home for my hair! Their studio is chic, classy + very boutique like...perfect feel for getting pampered! read more

I followed Nicole from Ultra-Luxe, which is great and I'll miss, but I definitely love her new location. The brand new setup in Salon Republic is really nice, cozy, and private, and of course, I'm a fan of Nicole's so this is new my spot. Not only is Nicole super nice, she's great at cutting hair (and apparently at coloring, which doesn't apply to me) and refer all my South Bay friends to her. read more

I had an event coming up, had just moved to a new town, had grey hairs showing, and my regular stylist was on vacation. I was desperate! I called Studio Twenty Six at the very last minute with an unusual request and Nicole happily squeezed me in. She was the ONLY person I called who actually bothered to call me back. Not only did she fit me in, but she also did an awesome job on my base break and was super friendly on top of all that! Based on my awesome experience, I'm happy to say that Studio Twenty Six is now my salon and I can't wait to go back! read more

Soooo ecstatic for Nicole to have her own studio to do the magnificent things she can do to hair! Every time I go see her I leave so happy with the creative juices she puts into the styles I want. I've been to plenty of stylists growing up and I couldn't be more thankful to find Nicole. I'm moving to Indiana next week and I'm already thinking about how I can fly back to get my hair done in the future. Nicole really learned my hair and knows exactly how to cut/color/treat/blow dry it. she really listens to her customers and she's a perfectionist so she will notice something before you could ever point it out and she fixes it. She's the best!!! I recommend Nicole to all my friends/coworkers because I'm always getting compliments on my hair. read more

Studio Twenty Six - Fabulous! - Blow Dry/Out Services Near Me - Hermosa Beach, California

Madison is truly an artist with hair color! I'm new to the area, and it had been 5+ months since anyone touched my hair, so the color was looking really sad. I couldn't wait any longer because my wedding is coming up in 2 months, but I was really nervous to let someone new touch my hair. As someone who's been getting my hair colored for 15+ years, it's very rare for a colorist to perfectly deliver on what you're looking for, but Madison did just that! She really paid attention to the inspiration photos I showed her and my description of what I like/dislike, and I am beyond thrilled with my new hair color. I wanted ashy blonde highlights but also wanted to maintain some warm tones with darker roots closer to my natural color, and the end result is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I would highly recommend Madison to anyone in the area and am so happy I found her. The studio is also bright and cheerful, and Madison and Nicole are so fun to be around! read more

I have waited a a long time to write this review but I can no longer keep her a secret. Nicole is the best hairdresser I have had the pleasure of getting to know. I have naturally curly hair that is very fine. You would think I am nearly balding at times. Lol I originally came to her a year or so ago because I had a color mis hap that had left me an almost redhead. Of course she fixed it, and I have been faithful to her since. Throughout this time we have worked through color changes highlights and styles and most recently extensions. I never knew how truly exceptional this woman was until I realized the work she had put into familiarizing herself with so many different techniques of extensions. And I am even more impressed that she holds true to her word of which ones are right for you and your hair, and what hair or type of extensions she refuses to use. I work retail and am faced with tons of people daily and get nothing but compliments on how beautiful my hair is. No one can ever believe they are extensions. (And of course that I would admit to it) The craziest part is that after I first had them put in, I went to dinner immediately after. Excited that I was finally there after waiting 2 months for a reservation I took a selfie and posted on FB. I had more likes and comments than most post. But they all had to do with how great my hair looked. read more

Madison is AWESOME! Nicole, although she doesn't cut my hair, is great too! I'm probably kinda weird about sticking with a stylist (until either I or they move out of the area) that knows my hair and then I let her do whatever because I trust her. Madison is really just simply fantastic for my men's cut! read more

Madison is an incredible and gifted person. Its always a pleasure not only to receive the fruits of her talent with color and cut, but also to enjoy her sweet and genuine personality. Her space is beautiful and bright and relaxing. This is the first time I have ever been continually happy with my hair!! Still with Maddie, and won't be going anywhere else. She also cuts my 3 sons hair. She's kind and gentle and patient and their haircuts are incredible. Much better than those kid salons! read more

SERVICE & HAIR // This was the first time I've ever dyed my hair, and I am IN LOVE with how it turned out thanks to Madison! I got a balayage that looks almost natural. My hair is a darker brown and the lowlights are a golden color. The whole process took maybe around 3 hours, with a slight trim and curls. Both Madison and Nicole are also very friendly. My hair feels so soft and I am definitely coming back in the future. PARKING & LOCATION // the shop is located inside a glass complex building on the corner of 16th and PCH. I passed it at first. Parking was easy when I arrived around 2:30, but coming out around 6:30 it was packed. Probably because of the gym that's downstairs. Anyways, it is on the top floor inside called salon something, I can't recall. You have to walk through the hallway along other small hairstylists, pretty cool. Their station is petite, but very cute. read more

Nicole is nothing short of a magician. I've spent hours in her chair doing crazy things like blue and pink, and other times she manages to make me over with just a trim. Seriously I always walk out feeling like a million bucks. She has been doing my hair at Ultra Lux for years and I was so delighted to visit Studio Twenty Six yesterday. It's an adorable small space- no hustle and bustle just everything you need, very peaceful. Like going to visit a chic friend's apartment. Plus you can't beat the prices- it always feel like a deal. Nicole has been doing my hair for about 8 yrs and I can honestly say she is AMAZING at what she does. She never lets me down not matter how crazy the request from brunette to blonde to red back to blonde and now gray (and may I add that I am in love with the gray). She does such a great job that even when it's time to go in for a touch up I'm still getting compliments. I'm literally never going anywhere else. I came to Madison armed mainly with complaints; I had suffered three unfortunate haircuts that left me confused about what I wanted and what would be possible with my hair texture. I explained everything I was thinking to Madison and showed her a few examples, and she transformed my hair into exactly what I didn't know I wanted. At $60, my cut and blow dry were worth it many times over. I'm so so unbelievably relieved to have found my new go-to! read more

I have super resistant gray hair. Nicole has created color that completely covers the gray and leaves my hair shiny and vibrant. I am so thrilled about the color and her haircuts. Nicole is wonderful! I was a newbie to tape in extensions and now a convert! Fun way to have great hair when your own is not! My previous hair dresser had cut my hair too short to manage, so this was a perrfect solution to the misery of growing it back out . Nicole is on time, fast, professional as well as great at what she does. I came in for a quick consult so she could match hair color. A few days later- on goes the hair- perfect! Fun not just for length, but as an alternative to getting streaks or highlights. A+ Nicole! read more

Went to Madison for the first time yesterday for a cut and ombre. She ended up doing a beautiful balayage technique that looks great! I called today to see if I could get a couple more pieces highlighted to really bring out that ombre look I was originally going for and she offered to make another appointment for me this week without charge. I'm so glad I tried Studio Twenty Six! Very cute space, drinks available, and a fun, intimate atmosphere. I'm excited to go back and refer friends! Thanks Madison :) read more

I went to Madison for cut, root color and highlights and she did an AMAZING job! I got so many compliments on my hair.
