The first two pictures are what my hair was right before. The rest are what I walked away with today. I'm so upset. I did love Byron and I would go back to him for a bang trim but my hair wont recover from this for a very long time and I'm getting married in less than a year. I really hoped I was just thrown off since he blow dried my hair straight and I usually wear it wavy/curly but that wasn't the case. I asked for a shag cut and got a bowl cut on top of my longest layer, along with very uneven bangs.

Before the appointment, I specifically asked Rachel to have the new stylist honor the price she had quoted me. She assured me that she would pass along that information to the new stylist. When it came time to pay, I was shocked to learn that Erik charged approximately 40% more than the original quoted price. At no point before or during the appointment was I informed that his pricing was different, despite my explicit request that the original quote be honored. Had I been told upfront about the higher price, I could have made an informed decision before proceeding. Instead, I only found out after the service was completed and payment was due. The lack of transparency regarding pricing left me feeling misled and frustrated. I understand that different stylists may have different rates, but clear communication about pricing changes is essential, especially when an appointment is reassigned by the salon at the last minute. Unfortunately, this experience left a negative impression.

Location: Salon is located near the Bay Club, the location is beautiful and plenty to do afterwards, but not worth it when you leave the salon with results that you clearly advised you did not want to see. Parking: Metered parking, somewhat tight due to gym; however, the salon does provide you a pass. Front desk person: Woman that answers the phone provides the recommendation on who to see based on the description that you give her; altough I'm not sure she is the right person so make those determinations. Color: Failed results at all times, kept saying that it's a process, yet she never invested in achieving the color as we discussed. I felt low and disregarded every single time I left the salon. I paid over $1000 to not obtain the results in each session. When I shared my concerns with her and advised that the incorrect color was used, she became distant, ghosted me on text and was not honest about when she was in the office. I called the salon and the woman at the front told me she was there. I feel cheated and hurt. There is no salon manager, no one that cares or that you can speak to about your concerns. Payments are done directly to the stylist.

I texted Edgar a wish pic and it looks nothing like it. I do not recommend him. He offered his next cut free and I won't go back

This is a review specifically for Izzy, who I have followed from her previous salon. Peroxide is a great salon in general, very fun relaxing and welcoming vibe, which is important when you are in a chair for a few hours doing color. Recently I contacted Izzy to make my redhead-dreams come true, despite my concerns around having dark fine hair that gets easily mangled by bleach, wanting a larger gradient from my natural roots to the red, and worrying that the color I loved would look crazy against my olive skin. Not only did Izzy mix a color for me custom, but made it vibrant on my hair without needing to use bleach at all. It's been a few months and it is still vibrant and glorious! She truly gave me everything I wanted. I have been doing vivid colors on my hair since I was 16, have gone to stylists all over LA, and Izzy was the first to prioritize my hair HEALTH as much as my aesthetic wants, talk me through the details, and make the long process of getting color done go by in a flash. I love this place, I got my haircut by the one and only Sarita/Sarah, she's so so so sweet and bubbly. This place was not only beautiful but so was the pretty girl working on my hair! She was very accommodating with how I wanted my hair, she listened to all my concerns and gave me extremely helpful advice on what I can do for my hair going forward. I do have a lot of dry and a lot of split ends, but she was very willing to work within my comfort zone of how much hair I wanted to cut and really worked her magic with what I gave her . Today I went to see Bri for a new look. She greeted me as I walked in the door, she was very welcoming, and accommodating. I called ahead to ask about same day appointments but I was told to just come on in and that someone would work with me once available. I got seated right away when I walked in (whooo!). About my hair type: My hair is long, thick, heavy, and wavy. I went in wanting to keep my length, trim off the dead ends, and add some long layers. My hair stylist was named Boots. She took really good care of me! I felt bad because I think managing my heavy hair gave her a workout... she handled it well though. Lol! The things she did that I liked: - thoroughly shampoo and condition hair - thinned out my hair - confirmed the length at which I wanted my hair cut before doing it - allowing me to see the progress of my hair cut after the different layers were cut - being very patient when it came to double checking the length was good all across Boots was great! She was a little rough around the edges (whacking my face with my own hair, combing my hair a little too intensely against my scalp, and poking me with her long nails here and there), but she does a fab job! I'll definitely return for my next cut. If you don't have cash, they accept Venmo and CashApp but note that they prefer cash tips if/when possible. Give this place a go! So basically my whole life I have (A) not really been happy with my hair & (B) never trusted salons to actually do something with my hair that I would be super happy with. Well, I feel that Stefanie really transformed me. First of all she LISTENS , she thoughtfully and sincerely listens to what you are saying. But then she kind of adds her own experience, expertise and intuition by giving little suggestions, and I feel that that combo is PERFECT! It gives you a chance to trust that the person doing your hair "gets it". It was just such an awesome experience all around. I never felt rushed. She took her time to make sure it was SPOT ON before she or I were satisfied :)) She's a super sweet lovely and funny person. Totally makes u relaxed, AND u leave feeling prettier than ever. Sweet, kind, fun, and an excellent colorist. Attentive to my needs, conservative in using color and honestly super accommodating to all my stories about my hair and my (what I feel like is) high maintenance requests! Im beyond stoked with my beautiful blonde highlights....just enough and never went through the ORANGE Brassy stage (like I had been experiencing)! My hair feels healthier than ever, and I cant wait to come back for a root blend (maybe she calls it something else...but she really knew what my hair needed then and in the future). My daughter is going in this weekend (if she can get in) and I felt great saying any of the stylists there are amazing if you cant get in Lila as when I was at Bardot (another thing I loved) was how highly Lila spoke about all the stylists and their skills, good vibes, and in general attentive and accommodating customer service. Finding a stylist who understands curls, texture, color, and how to make your hair feel like you can be challenging, but she consistently gets it right. She is incredibly talented, attentive, and passionate about what she does. I always leave feeling beautiful, confident, and so happy with my hair. Her experience really shows, and I appreciate how she takes the time to understand what I want while also knowing what works best for my hair.
