I loved her pics on Yelp and Instagram so I reached out via text. I'm frankly surprised by the previous reviewer's experience as Natalie responded to me right away. She asked for photos of my current hair and inspo for my cut and we set up an appointment for the following week. Her salon is a SUPER cute and intimate space (no longer in the Phenix salon!) on PCH. Natalie was ready on time and was extremely thorough with the cut. She explained everything she was using, her technique, and asked lots of questions. She was also just really fun to chat with! I left SO impressed and my hair feels wonderful (I needed the postpartum hair chop - LOL). While she didn't color my hair (this time!) she used a product that oomphed my highlights so they looked refreshed and vibrant. Cozy salon, Natalie is patient, listens to what you want, knowledgeable with her suggestions and does an amazing job. We've had highlites before that were spotty, clumped in an area and looked like the stylist didn't know what they were doing. My haircut was awful. When she cut my hair I thought she would go slow like most of my stylist have done. They trim a little at a time and ask me how is the length? Which she did not do she chopped it off. Not happy for the money I paid which was alot. I think $150 an hour is way to much especially if you don't get what you wanted. read more
