I loved my experience here and I will be coming back to maintain my curls. I was super nervous and almost canceled my appointment but I am so thankful I did not. My hair is long and curly and I only wanted a small trip to keep all the length. Not only did Su follow my instructions and reassured me, she went above and beyond in making me feel comfortable and in the end I had a beautiful cut. I am super thankful and will be a forever customer. read more

I recently got my haircut by Sue and she suggested that I try balayage. I decided to give it a try and made an appt. Sue is very detailed and easy to talk to. I got caramel balayage and it looked good. But after a few hours at home, I decided that the color was too light for me so I contacted Sue and she responded right away and scheduled me to come back today. I got a darker toner and love it! Sue did not charge me extra for the color change so I really appreciated her customer service! Plenty of parking and easy to make appointments online. read more

Sue is really wonderful! She listens carefully and truly cares about your hair. She doesn't do unnecessary damage to your hair and the quality is amazing. The saloon is really cute and has a great atmosphere. Highly recommend for both cut and color read more

Sue was incredible! I came in with a botched haircut from a previous salon and she fixed the layers to be much more even. She was extremely knowledgeable about my hair type and style and gave great recommendations on the type of highlight and color to try. I went with her rec to get a balayage instead of normal highlights and could not be more happy with the final results. Sue is a miracle worker! read more

I had a wonderful experience at Salon Harmony. I was able to make a same day appointment and when I arrived had no wait. Sue was my stylist and she was professional, knowledgable and very talented. I love how my hair cut and style turned out! read more

The good . Open on Sundays. It was clean. The lady was pleasant. . Everything else was disappointing. Took my daughter in for a hair cut. We are new to the area and booked this place based on reviews. She's got long layers and was hoping for a good trim. She got her hair trimmed but there was no effort to do a proper blow out. She told my daughter the product she put in works best when it air dries. In other words , she didn't want to spend the extra ten minutes to do the blow out. She charged $75 for the 40 minutes at most. Going to find someone else who wants to put in more effort to keep a new client. read more

I had the best experience with Sue at Salon Harmony today. She listened, took her time, and really took into consideration the shape of my face, texture of my hair, and what my hair goals were for the future. I know I know your hair grows back if the cut is not what you like but that's not the point. I have long hair and love the length so finding a good hair stylist is super important. From the way they brush my hair to the type of equipment used for cutting or trimming is critical defuse it minimize long term damage such as split ins, frizzy hair etc. Sue at Salon Harmony definitely someone I can trust to cut, trim and stylist my long hair. Before discovering this salon I was trying to cut and trim my own hair because the commute to my hair stylist of 15 years move to the OC. Attention to detail, being delicate and being listen to are some the reasons I recommend Salon Harmony read more

The last time I cut my hair (not at a Salon Harmony), my previous hairstylist had given me these super short layers that were so disconnected with the longer layers. It took forever to grow out and I have curly hair so I was nervous, since not everyone knows how to cut it but Sue was the right person to go to! She was so calm and evened out my hair! She was able to fix it and took her time with me. I'll definitely be going back to her from here on out (: read more

New to the area and finally committed to embracing my natural hair. When I came to Sue I had color damage, split ends, thinning and didn't feel as confident as I could about my curls. She listened to my goals, looked at my inspo pics and got to work. Was happy to hear that she has experience with curly hair. The salon itself is lovely and clean, the fact they also offer threading services is great too. Would definitely recommend! read more

I'm writing this a little late or maybe right on time! After years of box dying my hair dark, I went to Sue (in March so about 5 months ago) to get balayage and a cut and I'll admit I was a little shocked coming out of the salon! But it was only because I didn't recognize myself. I asked her to try and lift my hair to basically blonde and she did a pretty great job. She told me I wouldn't have to come back for 8 months and I didn't believe her but here I am 5 months out and it's growing out very nicely. I also asked her to just cut my hair blunt and there was no trying to convince me of layers or anything which tends to happen to me and then I'm mad (this is on me of course but nice that she made it easier!). Oh! And I drove from West LA to her because my friend got her hair done by Sue and I kept complimenting her every time I saw her so there's also that. Highly recommend. She does a great job and is chill. Can't wait to go back! read more

Let me start by saying Sue is SOOO good. She knows her hair she is not one of those product pushers. She lets you make decisions, and her suggestions are right on. I drive from South LA to her, and so far, I have had 2 hair cuts, and my hair strengthened. She is so nice and really makes you feel at home. The vibe is quiet and relaxing, so it's worth the money, which BTW the prices are extremely fair especially in this economy. Go see Sue. She is amazing... read more

So glad I found this salon! Owner was very friendly and cut my hair beautifully. She started my appointment right on time. I got a wash and a haircut with layers/face framing. Style was extra so she just put product for my curly hair in the end. Total was $70! I'll definitely be returning! read more

First time here. I'm a guy in his late 20's growing out his hair with very little idea of what I'm doing. It's been about 10-11 months since my last haircut and Yen, my stylist, was amazing. I will definitely be coming back. She was able to help me define the look I'm going for and performed exactly what I was looking to have done. She even gave me some really helpful tips and product recommendations to control frizz. I felt like I was in great care. read more

I am very glad I found this very nice hair salon. Sue is very pleasant to work with, and I love what she does with my hair. I've seen very happy customers leaving each time I came in. It's also a great location; there are many stores in this complex such as Vons, a coin laundry, Dollar Tree, Pizza...etc. I'll be back soon! read more

First time here and on a whim walked in to see if owner Sue could squeeze me in. She took my # and as promised called me later for a 2 pm cancelation she had. She was super friendly. a salon is clean and well maintained. She trimmed my hair and added long layers and framed my bangs. I was impressed. She did a wonderful job and was very fair priced as well. We will definitely come back next time with my daughter. Great haircuts and service for the price. read more

Quite simply Sue is amazing. She is one of the only few stylists that has actually listened to what I wanted. my hair was too blonde and very brassy and had no dimension and she was able to understand what I was saying and then with her expert knowledge of color she knew exactly what to do. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and how not only is the color perfect but she is really knowledgeable about the hair color complementing my skin tone. I'm so thankful to have found her :) read more

I was referred to Sue by a good friend who spoke very highly of Sue. Each time I see a new hair stylist, I always bring a picture of what I want and each time the stylist says "yes, I can do that." Guess what -- never does it look anywhere near the picture. After Sue looked at the picture, she said, "I can't really do that as your hair is a different tecture." That was a surprise (and I appreciated her honesty)! Sue then went on to explain that she could do some things similar, but it may not look the same. And you know what, it looked even better than the picture! I have received so many compliments on her cut. Sue is friendly, honest and talented. Her salon is clean, uncluttered and she is not pretentious. The cost of my hair cut was fair and reasonable. I have already made another appointment for a cut/color next month. Sue is a gem! read more

Sue was very sweet, was able to take me as a walk in, and gave me exactly what i asked for. 10/10 experience !

I am new to the Redondo Beach area and needed highlights and a haircut before the school year started. I am a teacher and Sue was lovely. When I called she worked with my schedule and was very kind, & flexible. She fit me in quickly, within just a couple of days. What a beautiful salon it is too! The atmosphere is peaceful, a nice breeze was blowing, and everything was clean and beautiful. She took her time with me and listened to my requests. Sue made me feel like I was in good hands. I will definitely come back to visit her again when I need a touchup or my next round of highlights. I highly recommend Sue and her lovely Salon Harmony. Thank you for such a great experience. read more

Overall, such a wonderful salon! Great ambiance and excellent service. Clara took such good care of me! She is an expert and is delightful to chat with. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted but she was patient in helping me figure it out! I got a haircut with extra layers and face framing bangs. I had an old balayage that had grown out and was toned a color I was no longer happy with. Clara had suggested some lowlights and toning to darken my existing color. She was very clear and answered all my questions. She made sure my hair turned out exact how I wanted it, even though it meant staying a little later (and on her birthday weekend nonetheless). Definitely left the salon happy! And to top it off then price is very reasonable! So glad I found such a great hair dresser. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Had a wonderful haircut experience with Elvia. She was attentive and careful in cutting my hair. I felt heard and she's completely cheerful. One of my turn offs at hair salon pix is when they showcase haircut that looks the same - just different colors. I will have to revisit this review as my hair grows out. I am old school in the way that if hair is cut properly it ought to grow out nicely in a few months before I need another haircut. Price for cut and blow was reasonable. Definitely will be back. I may be brave enough to try hair coloring with Elvia! read more

This review is for Clara since she was a LIFESAVER and completely saved the disaster that was on my head. Alex originally gave me a very brassy, non-blended balayage which I was really unhappy with and not at all like the pictures I showed her. I went back to the salon a month later and Clara spent 3.5 hours fixing my hair by giving me low lights, high lights, and a GORGEOUS balayage. She gave me a nice trim, carefully toned the hair and took her time to make it look absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I am thrilled with the results and will be going to Clara for my hair needs now! Also kudos to the owner for only charging me for a toner and making customers happy! read more
