I chose one of the European facials called iS clinical fire & ice facial; it was overall very detoxifying & refreshing to the skin. I also got the 90-minute massage & I'm glad I did! Seven recommended for me to go with the medium-pressure since it was a first for me and he definitely hit a lot of my pressure points near my shoulders & upper back; the massage also included hot stones & towels which was a treat!! Prices are very reasonable given how much attention to detail Seven puts in & all the quality products he incorporates in each service. I cannot wait to come back & would totally recommend this spot to anyone looking for a place to relax!

Gigi has hands made of magic, but their scheduling process if you want a specific person is a…read morenightmare. I can tell they're trying out different methods - when I first started going I had to call, then I could book through an app and choose my masseuse but couldn't choose the second masseuse for a couples massage, then I could choose the second masseuse, and now you can't choose a masseuse at all! So back to calling, but now they're rotating schedules and between two locations so you can no longer book any masseuse on any day, and the likelihood of them answering the phone or returning a voicemail is slim. Still four stars because Gigi and Amy are THAT GOOD, but it has become so painful to see either of them I've had to move on to somewhere more reliable for my biweekly appointments. The masseuses are not all equal so why they would switch to some weird lottery system beats me. I hope they change it back!

I booked a same-day appointment about an hour in advance through your website. Earlier time slots…read morewere available, but I intentionally chose a later one so I wouldn't have to rush. As I was literally parking in front of the business, I received a call informing me there had been a booking error and asking if I could move my appointment an hour later. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible. I've been here before and have had good massages, but this is where I draw the line. There was an entire hour to recognize and resolve a scheduling conflict before I arrived. Instead, I was notified at the last possible moment after I had already driven there and arrived for my appointment. That level of disorganization and disregard for a client's time is unacceptable. I'm extremely disappointed with this experience and the level of professionalism shown. I'm held to a cancellation policy that feels completely one-sided -- if I had canceled or changed my appointment at the last minute, I would have been charged, yet there appears to be no consequence when the inconvenience falls on the client instead.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 28 Beauty & Spa (at Sola Salon Torrance)!…read more Due to a staffing shortage, I received an AMAZING 120-minute REJUVENATING body massage (with Patty) instead of the 90 minute massage / 30 minute facial combo originally booked (via Groupon-wouldn't mind trying that next time) but this was no inconvenience to me since the massage I received was completely worth it! The best massage I've had in years, if not ever! Easy to locate and park at the Del Amo Mall near Dave & Buster's. The massage room was cozy with aromatherapy, warm lighting, spa music and the sound of flowing water. The massage bed was heated and the therapist used a cream instead of oil so my skin felt super hydrated instead of greasy! I always have a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders so Patty not only took extra time to massage both but also stretched those muscles. It truly was a much-needed relaxing and restorative experience. Patty is a licensed therapist and it was really evident by the professionalism and skill of her massage. If you are looking for a private, professional and restorative massage- then look no further!

Wife got me a gift card for a dry Japanese massage after a Japanese coworker suggested how fabulous…read moreit was. This a small one room studio in the Phenix Salon Suite building. You can book online on their website and it was super easy. I appreciated the private environment. My masseuse was very kind and she was explaining to me the benefits of getting a Japanese Dry Head massage. While I think the main claim presented to me was not founded in science, a massage is a massage. And, I love massages. I had the chest, shoulders, neck, ears, and scalp 1 hr experience. I found it odd they say "dry" in the description but I guess that's because there are all these head spas where you are under a waterfall on social media, and this is not one of those places. The massage was respectable and relaxing. I was drifting in and out. There was not one painful maneuver by the masseuse. It's a massage with your clothes on experience. I was sitting on a comfortable recliner fully reclined. They don't use any massage oils. The towels they use to cover your eyes has a nice scent on them. Everything was clean. I appreciated it was an all-in price including the gratuity. It was a fraction of price of a Burke-Williams massage and slightly pricier than what you can find at a multitude of massage studios in the South Bay. Overall: The experience was nice. I have no issues. I appreciated the experience although I think I just prefer massages with massage oils on massage tables and laying down. If you don't like massage oil, prefer to keep your shirt on, and you want privacy, this place would be perfect for you. The owner and my masseuse, Satomi, was super professional and bilingual and I don't think you could go wrong with selecting her.

I went for my first appointment last month. I felt like I deserved a "me day" and I have on a search to find a place that offers lymphatic drainage facial at a reasonable price. I came across this page on Yelp. I set my appt up. They are very much on time when starting your appt. I had Chioko (I may have spelled her name wrong) as the one to do my lymphatic drainage massage. And she was AMAZING! From the minute I walked in she was extremely nice, helpful, and very informing. Throughout my facial she always made sure I was okay and comfortable. She also would inform me before putting any products on my face. It was a 55min lymphatic drainage massage and it was AMAZING! My face and chin felt so snatched afterwards, my face looked clearer and felt softer! I will be coming back this month to try one of their facials along side the lymphatic drainage!
