I have FINALLY found my facial spot! After years of trying different facial spots from driving 30+ mins to OC, 20mins to LB. I have finally found my facial spot. I went for my first appointment last month. I felt like I deserved a "me day" and I have on a search to find a place that offers lymphatic drainage facial at a reasonable price. I came across this page on Yelp. I set my appt up. They are very much on time when starting your appt. I had Chioko (I may have spelled her name wrong) as the one to do my lymphatic drainage massage. And she was AMAZING! From the minute I walked in she was extremely nice, helpful, and very informing. Throughout my facial she always made sure I was okay and comfortable. She also would inform me before putting any products on my face. It was a 55min lymphatic drainage massage and it was AMAZING! My face and chin felt so snatched afterwards, my face looked clearer and felt softer! I will be coming back this month to try one of their facials along side the lymphatic drainage! I absolutely love coming here to get a facial. I usually get the Brightening Facial from Shoko and have also got the Ultimate Hydration Facial during the dry winter season. I've been coming here for years and I always come back to Shoko. I feel safe and relaxed here since it is small and there's never a wait since I make my appointments online ahead of time. She has a gentle touch with smooth strokes on my face, the products always smell nice and does not break me out even with my sensitive skin. Most of the time I fall asleep because it is that relaxing. She even gives a quick feet massage when the products on my face needs to breathe a bit. I have been getting Shoko's ( Japanese Lady) facial for years. I've tried a lot of other places but ended up coming back here. She always does a fantastic job and never changes. This is one of those spots where I really hesitate sharing about because I don't want it to become overcrowded... but Cup of Spa deserves all the praise in the world! I have been going here for facials for the past year and it's truly the best bang for your buck, and such a nice, relaxing facial. Not a lot of places you can get a full service, hourlong facial for under $100 these days, and that's including tax and tip! The owner is very friendly and kind, knowledgeable about skin types and needs, and is super efficient. Many places I've gone to, when it's time for the face mask, they will just put it on you and leave and come back after a few minutes. At Cup of spa, no minute is wasted! I usually get the 75 min deep pore cleansing plus facial. It's only $65! What a killer deal. I had both of the estheticians; Shoko and Kuniko. Both are really good. Cup of Spa is a great little spa that specializes in facials. It's located in a small strip mall with plenty of parking. I had an appointment for a men's facial ($55) on a Saturday afternoon and was promptly greeted and shown to the room. The table was very comfortable and warmed, and they provided a leg pillow for added comfort. The facial itself was very relaxing, it came with various masks/peels, face massage, and extractions. What was also very nice was the shoulder massage and the unexpected leg and foot massage, which was all included with the facial. I thought it was a great experience for a very reasonable price. I come to cup of spa twice a month every month! One is from Shoko for peering whitening facial and another is from Kuniko rinpa facial. I keep coming here for more than a year now and I love them always and they help skin young and clean Price is very reasonable. Whitening spa is $55 and rinpa facia is$39 it usually cost $100 for other skin care salon. I have been going to Shoko for about nine years. She is a very sweet woman and a true professional. She really knows what she is doing. The 50 minute basic facial is a steal at $48 and is excellent (including her amazing facial massage and extractions). I highly recommend it. Now however I am feeling my age so I splurge for the Anti-Aging facial every three months or so. At $80 it is an unbelievable deal and experience. 90 minutes with all the basics (including extractions) plus I believe at least three masks along with massages for your feet, neck/shoulders, and hands. But in my mind the extended facial massage is the real point. Shoko works her magic and my skin feels firmer for days. I've had my share of facials and I live in Northeast LA. I have found my holy grail facial spot. Japanese facials w neck and foot massage. I suggest coming in with a crop top or strapless bra but ur underneath light covers the whole time anyway. They exfoliate first then steam to open up pores some neck massage then extractions. After that they put on a face mask and then massage your feet. Then electric wand thing to close up ur pores some lip mask and your done. When u pay they give u a small cold water bottle which I think is so nice and considerate. It's a quiet and relaxing place with low instrumental music playing in the background. I already made my next facial appointment one month in advance because that's how much I love it. I suggest making a reservation through their reservation site Vagaro. Oh ya and I got the deep pore facial with shoko. She's great ! And my first facial was from Michiko also great! I am very picky with where I go and I just want to say that I highly recommend Cup of Spa. I used to go to a place in the OC but wanted to find a place closer to home. Shoku has been wonderful and this has been one of the top places I have gone to for a facial (Including compared to other countries I have visited). I drove all the way down to 110S to try this great affordable facial. And I was very happy about the treatment. I had relaxing 1 hour. There were prenty of parking at the complex. She asked me that I can choose longer facial massage or eye brow wax or baby mustache removal wax. I choose longer facial massage. She even gave me foot massage while I was on Mask. I booked out the Brightening Facial with Shoko 3 months in advance (she's pretty booked on the weekends, which was a telling sign of quality). I received a gift card to the spa and was highly recommended to ask for Shoko's services. When I arrived, I was greeted by name by Shoko herself! I was quickly brought into a back room that was only covered by a curtain. This was great because it gave the spa an air of openness that you sometimes don't feel in airtight spa rooms. My facial was 80 minutes and went perfectly. Shoko asked beforehand if I had any major areas of concern regarding my complexion. I mentioned small bumps along my hairline and jawline, which she extracted with swift care. The entirety of the facial was explained to me before she moved between treatments. Cup of Spa is so great! It's my go to skincare spa from now on. Shoko did a really lovely job on a deep pore cleansing facial, and the best part--she uses organic products that smell so so yummy and were so effective. My favorite was an organic sweet potato and pumpkin cleanser she put on before extraction. I've been to three different facialists in the past year and the treatment I received at Cup of Spa was by far the best for my dry combination skin. My skin came away looking glowing and I know she tried her best to gently but effectively clean out my pores, while other places left my skin red or hardly clean. Shoku is very good! I try to get a facial with her every few months or so and it does wonders for my skin. It is not a fancy place or anything. It is very simple, but Shoku really gets in there for the extractions, and my skin always feels so clean for the next couple weeks. Also, it is a great price.
