2nd time I am getting a facial with Arolyn. She continues to delight me with new, beautiful things to try. Today, she asked if I wanted a brow tint, which I've never been offered before, and it was fun trying it. I am looking forward to not waking up, having to draw my brows immediately, and seeing how they work for me. My face was very soft when I left. (Before/ after photos) Her place smells terrific!!!! read more

Requested to book a Redondo facial on Wednesday and my appointment was accepted by Body Suite Spa an hour later. Confirmed my appointment later that day. Arrived for my 11AM facial today 10:51 and texted the number as requested at 10:53 AM to inform I am waiting outside in the chair. No response. Texted again at 11:20AM to check-in. Still no response. Decided to walk in. See someone on the table, not sure if they were having a service or not as it looked like they were sleeping. It wasn't quiet when I shut the door, and no one came out to at least see what the noise was about. Bummed because I have heard great things about this place. The service may be good, but wouldn't recommend solely on the fact that I have had 0 communication and I waited over 45 minutes. read more

I truly enjoy Arolyn, she's always down to earth and makes it very comfortable for me. My schedule doesn't allow for me to be as consistent as I want to be; however, I love how my skin looks and feels after experiencing her facials. Arolyn is very knowledgeable and was upfront at the fact that she has done black/melanated skin. I appreciated that and hope to get on a better schedule soon so that I can be more consistent and see some more major changes. read more

So have you had your lymphatic system drained recently, while getting a facial and a massage? Well until today I would have said "Never, WTH are you talking about?!?" Today, I ran into Arolyn, the kick-ass owner of Body Suite Spa, which is in my building on PCH. I mentioned being sore after playing volleyball this weekend - next thing I know, she has me putting on a $40k compression suit (Balancer Pro), cranks the thing on, and it begins squeezing... it's like getting a full-body bear hug and massage combined. See the photo of the blue compression suit (in case you're wondering, nope that's not me in the photo, I grabbed that pic off the Ballance Pro website, Arolyn's chair/table is WAY more comfortable, see the other photo.) And since I was just laying there being squeezed, she started a facial along with a shoulder and neck massage... worth every penny. The compression suit helps with circulation, and does a bunch of other medical stuff I don't understand. But my muscle pain is gone! I looked it up, apparently a lot of professional athletes use this contraption. Models are using it too - J Lo owns one, so it must be good right? Pretty sure I'm a better singer and dancer now. The massage totally relaxed my shoulders; my face is shiny; and I smell like cologne and citrus. It's like I ran thru a car wash, Macy's and a farmers market. She also does spray tans, teeth whitening, threading, waxing, and a ton of other spa stuff that i should probably be doing but haven't yet. If you're in the South Bay and looking to get local spa treatments, go see Arolyn, she is amazing. read more

I had an amazing Microsermabrasion Riviera facial by Arolyn. She was so attentive and soothing. The neck, hand and foot massage were so relaxing. My face looked years younger and my "happy lines" were all smoothed over!! I went to several parties the days following and everyone was saying how beautiful my skin looked. I had very little if any makeup on. I can't wait to go back. read more

Just did my micro needling about a month ago and after one session I saw great results. Looking forward to my next sessions. Arolyn was super informative about the process and how everything would work out afterwards. Also got some skin tags removed as she zapped those suckers off as well with another one of her many tools in your spa. Teeth whitening is also available just one stop for everything. read more

By far one of the most Zen like places I have ever been. Arolyn makes you feel like you enter a world where you leave all cares behind and you sink in to that comfy chair of hers where she makes you feel like a queen. Her gentle way and her amazing ability to relax your body by just her touch is incredible. From the moment I met her she is my go to for EVERYTHING. Highly recommended my peeps!!! Treat yourself!! Arolyn is AMAZING! Could not believe how lucky I got finding Arolyn's place. Arolyn super kindly and efficiently booked me in very last minute! She worked around my other appointments to fit me in! Located in Manhattan Beach, it was easy to find. The place is beautiful & serene, the facial chair/bed was like a huge hug! Arolyn is SO knowledgable and has 30 years in the industry already. So friendly & so great at what she does. I had the Signature (Microdermabrasion) facial - there is NO downtime with this facial, so worked perfect for me. After the treatment, my skin was glowing & so soft!! To top it off, Arolyn even uses natural creams that she has personally designed and handcrafted!!! I purchased two creams (CBD hand salve & body salve) - after smelling & feeling both during the treatment, I had to buy both! I also got a lip balm for my boyfriend. I loved every single part of the experience - from the moment of walking in until walking out. I must also mention, during the facial, Arolyn also massages your hands, feet and shoulders/neck, and it was heavenly! Can't wait to go back again!! read more

She doesn't try to push anything on you that isn't necessary but does treatments that work with your skin type. They do everything from facials to waxing, airbrush tanning to massages and even tooth whitening. I have never had a better or even comparable facial. AMAZING.. Arolyn was so accommodating and responsive she made time for me to come in on such short notice. I was passing through town after traveling for work for 3 weeks. At first I just wanted to get waxed and a spray tan...but as we got to talking and how great the experience quickly became, she suggested and made time for a mini facial!! My skin was glowing for days afterwards. If I had more time I would have stayed all day and gotten more treatments. I will absolutely be back to see her when I am back in town. My tan was perfectly natural looking which is exactly what I requested. To top it off I Loved all the knowledge she had about how to handle my skin specifically. Such a great experience. read more

I love going to this spa. I have been getting Brazilian and brow waxing done here for almost a year now. Arolyn is such a doll and makes you feel very comfortable. The spa is such a peaceful place to be. I asked if I could rent out one of the rooms to just sleep and meditate. You feel miles away from a hectic world. Arolyn is always willing to please. I am sure if the person who left this negative comment, contacted Arolyn, she would take care of him. Arolyn doesn't deserve any negative comments at all. read more

I've been going to Arolyn (the super sweet owner of Body Suite) for about ten years and she is the absolute best. I get the full glow facial, but she always customizes it depending on what my skin needs at the time. I've been to all the fancy resort spas and major chains and no one compares to Arolyn. Not only does my skin look great when I leave, but she includes a hand, foot, shoulder, neck, face and head massage with every facial -- pure relaxation. I can't recommend her more. read more

Best place for waxing hands down! Spa is very peaceful and Arolyn certainly makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Those who do Brazilian waxing know it can be a bit awkward, Arolyn is absolutely wonderful. I recently moved to the Valley and tried a place close to me, but chatty girls working a front desk is not the environment I want at a spa. I'm still going to Arolyn, so worth it. AND it's walking distance from the beach, can't beat that. read more

While I have yet to visit this spa, I can attest that Arolyn is an amazing and compassionate person. My elderly mother in-law had taken a fall in a isolated part of the desert and Arolyn not only stopped to assist her, she picked up my father-in-law at their residence and drove him to the hospital and waited with him until a family member arrived. This is the type of empathy and compassion that I'm sure she brings to her clients. I plan on making and appointment for spa services. read more
