Requested to book a Redondo facial on Wednesday and my appointment was accepted by Body Suite Spa an hour later. Confirmed my appointment later that day. Arrived for my 11AM facial today 10:51 and texted the number as requested at 10:53 AM to inform I am waiting outside in the chair. No response. Texted again at 11:20AM to check-in. Still no response. Decided to walk in. See someone on the table, not sure if they were having a service or not as it looked like they were sleeping. It wasn't quiet when I shut the door, and no one came out to at least see what the noise was about. Bummed because I have heard great things about this place. The service may be good, but wouldn't recommend solely on the fact that I have had 0 communication and I waited over 45 minutes. read more

I truly enjoy Arolyn, she's always down to earth and makes it very comfortable for me. My schedule doesn't allow for me to be as consistent as I want to be; however, I love how my skin looks and feels after experiencing her facials. Arolyn is very knowledgeable and was upfront at the fact that she has done black/melanated skin. So have you had your lymphatic system drained recently, while getting a facial and a massage? Well until today I would have said "Never, WTH are you talking about?!?" Today, I ran into Arolyn, the kick-ass owner of Body Suite Spa, which is in my building on PCH. I mentioned being sore after playing volleyball this weekend - next thing I know, she has me putting on a $40k compression suit (Balancer Pro), cranks the thing on, and it begins squeezing... it's like getting a full-body bear hug and massage combined. See the photo of the blue compression suit (in case you're wondering, nope that's not me in the photo, I grabbed that pic off the Ballance Pro website, Arolyn's chair/table is WAY more comfortable, see the other photo.) And since I was just laying there being squeezed, she started a facial along with a shoulder and neck massage... worth every penny. The compression suit helps with circulation, and does a bunch of other medical stuff I don't understand. But my muscle pain is gone! I looked it up, apparently a lot of professional athletes use this contraption. Models are using it too - J Lo owns one, so it must be good right? Pretty sure I'm a better singer and dancer now. The massage totally relaxed my shoulders; my face is shiny; and I smell like cologne and citrus. It's like I ran thru a car wash, Macy's and a farmers market. She also does spray tans, teeth whitening, threading, waxing, and a ton of other spa stuff that i should probably be doing but haven't yet. Best place for waxing hands down! Spa is very peaceful and Arolyn certainly makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Those who do Brazilian waxing know it can be a bit awkward, Arolyn is absolutely wonderful. My elderly mother in-law had taken a fall in a isolated part of the desert and Arolyn not only stopped to assist her, she picked up my father-in-law at their residence and drove him to the hospital and waited with him until a family member arrived.
