Gigi has hands made of magic, but their scheduling process if you want a specific person is a nightmare. I can tell they're trying out different methods - when I first started going I had to call, then I could book through an app and choose my masseuse but couldn't choose the second masseuse for a couples massage, then I could choose the second masseuse, and now you can't choose a masseuse at all! So back to calling, but now they're rotating schedules and between two locations so you can no longer book any masseuse on any day, and the likelihood of them answering the phone or returning a voicemail is slim. Still four stars because Gigi and Amy are THAT GOOD, but it has become so painful to see either of them I've had to move on to somewhere more reliable for my biweekly appointments. The masseuses are not all equal so why they would switch to some weird lottery system beats me. I hope they change it back! read more

I booked a same-day appointment about an hour in advance through your website. Earlier time slots were available, but I intentionally chose a later one so I wouldn't have to rush. As I was literally parking in front of the business, I received a call informing me there had been a booking error and asking if I could move my appointment an hour later. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible. I've been here before and have had good massages, but this is where I draw the line. There was an entire hour to recognize and resolve a scheduling conflict before I arrived. Instead, I was notified at the last possible moment after I had already driven there and arrived for my appointment. That level of disorganization and disregard for a client's time is unacceptable. I'm extremely disappointed with this experience and the level of professionalism shown. I'm held to a cancellation policy that feels completely one-sided -- if I had canceled or changed my appointment at the last minute, I would have been charged, yet there appears to be no consequence when the inconvenience falls on the client instead. read more

I am an older gentleman, with arthritic issues in and around my neck area. I discovered Hatha Spa about two years ago. In that time, I've probably seen 8-10 different therapists and they're all excellent! However, that being said, my "go to gal" is Jejee (yes, that's how she spells her name). She is wonderful. Not only does Jejee get rid of my arthritic pain, but, she is, also, a very nice, pleasant, well versed young lady! My goodness, how many Thai therapists can discuss the Lakers and Dodgers with you? Jejee can. I look forward to every visit with Jejee and always leave feeling physically and mentally better. read more

What an amazing massage. And beautiful space. I highly recommend this gem!! I like a deep massage and am often disappointed. Not here. Deep healing. Simply perfect can't wait to go back read more

I woke up with a stiff neck 2 days ago and it had been hurting so bad. I was comparing prices in the area and Hatha was reasonable. When I walked in I explained what was going on and Amy stated confidently that she could fix it. I was surprised and optimistic about her enthusiasm. After an hour of getting all my knots out I can 100% say with certainty that she was right -- she fixed my neck and shoulders. It's only been a few hours since the massage and I feel like a new woman. I will absolutely be going back. And I'll tell all my coworkers to go see Amy! read more

Went to get a couples massage today in the afternoon around 6pm. Went with Swedish/Thai combo mix massage. Cost $120 for 90 minutes per person. Places looks renovated, modernized and very clean. Love the ambience and quietness as we didn't hear any loud or excessive talking during our massage session even though we knew there were other customers inside and finishing their massage therapy. My massage therapist was Jane and she first asked me what part of my body needed most the focus. I told her my neck, shoulder and lower back. She gaved me a full body massage and was able to relieve my knots perfectly. She is very strong and consistent with her massage technique which she was able to sense and control how much pressure to apply and see if I was hurting. After the session, my body felt a whole lot better and my back and shoulder felt a lot more loose and less strained. Definitely would choose Jane again as read more

Hatha Massage - Lovely snack area in the lobby! Wife and I are excited!! - Massage Near Me - Torrance, California

We just left Hatha massage I called in yesterday spoke with Amy and made both our appts with ease. I have a lot of shoulder pain from working out and I have been too many massage places in the area over the last 20+ years. We get here we were able to rinse off since we just came from the gym and I had Bella work on me he had Neera. These two ladies know what they're doing. The pinched nerve in my shoulder feels much better already. They worked hard on us, are very tight all over. I asked for extra firm and I got extra firm plus more. To get it to release sometimes it has to be painful. The staff is lovely here very welcoming. They walked us out. Everything was done with a smile and the place is clean and smells really good. I definitely am coming back next week for the 90 minutes. I highly recommend this place. Plenty of parking near the new Tokyo Central and Best Buy. True professionals. read more

Long overdue. I am a queen of massages so I can be very particular. This place is a gem. I usually go to my regular place in OC but I moved towards the LA area and needed to find something more local. I've gone here twice already and Ivy has exceeded my expectations. I always feel so relax when I leave here. She really gets all my knots and also stretches me! They usually have promos and I think they currently have holiday promos if you book through their website. Highly recommend if you're in Torrance! read more

I was desperate and I was cautious on trusting a new massuse. I found this spa on yelp and decided to give it a try when the receptionist said Jane. because I prefer a strong massuse I had she was amazing massaged .I am in heaven and will be looking read more

I had the best experience at Hatha! Jane gave me an amazing massage that was so soothing and relaxing. I appreciate the technique she used which helped fix the knots in my back. Wow!! This massage spa was amazing! I came in because I was exhausted and had muscle stiffness in my shoulder. Ivy was great and asked questions about what areas she needed to focus on. I was very impressed by how great this massage relaxed me. Customer service was also great. Everything was clean and smelled good. Had to call for scheduling appointments. You are required to pay before the massage but you can pay after as well. Payment options, If you use your card it will charge extra for the use of it. Venmo was the choice for me and it's convenient. If you're looking for a spa with amazing service and clean. Please support this business in Torrance. I give it 5/5 overall and I will be back to visit Ivy. read more

OMG. I left here feeling like a million bucks. Had the absolute BEST massage by Gigi. I had the Swedish deep tissue and I kid you not, this was by far the best massage I have ever had in my 40 years of life (and I've been to Thailand!) I will most definitely be back and am so glad to have stumbled upon this magical little place. Thank you Gigi! read more

Reasonable price and I love how they adjust the massage based on your preference. Good for couple massage.

This is my absolute favorite place in the whole world to get a massage! If you're thinking about coming here, cannot recommend it enough. My personal favorite here is Jane, she has alleviated any ache or pain my body has ever had and is very responsive to what you want. She is actually very knowledgeable about the human body, muscles, tendons, etc which I think is essential. Their prices are fair and reasonable and they make you a nice hot ginger tea once your massage is done that makes it feel like an overall wellness experience. Honestly can't go wrong with anyone here, if I could give more than five stars I would. read more

I ended up with Ivy as my person and I had asked for strong for pressure level and for sure, you're going to get a strong pressure, if not even more (dont let her size fool you) - also i opted for deep tissue/trigger point Professional massage therapist recommended read more

First time here and Bella did an amazing job I highly recommend amazing place and staff

I got a deal on Groupon for this location and made a schedule right away due to my tight back. The lady on the phone was really nice and the booking went very smoothly :) I got a friendly reminder message from them a day before and another one about 30 min before my massage appointment. I personally like that they do call/text for confirmation mostly because it makes me feel valued as a client/customer. Their location is part of this big plaza close to Best Buy = huge parking lot (easy parking hehe). The place inside is small but also very aesthetically pleasing. There's tons of plants in the front lobby area and you know the place is good when the plants are well kept! The lady in the front helped me out with the Groupon process and was in my massage room in no longer than 5 minutes. The massage was HEAVEN. I feel like most of my "knots" are flattened out lol. Unfortunately I don't have the name of my massage therapist but he did a fantastic job in massaging by back. Don't know how but he just knew where it hurts so good haha! Had a great time here and I'll definitely see myself here again! read more

Hidden gem in a very unassuming strip mall. Service was great and massage was focused, pressure was good and therapist did a great job checking in with me. My husband and I stumbled upon this place and as parents of 2 littles sometimes we don't have the luxury of planning ahead so it was great to get a same day appointment. Can't wait to go back. read more

My husband and I got a couple's massage here after purchasing the Groupon deal. The staff were pleasant. We were led to a room separated by a divider. The massage comprised of aromatherapy with eucalyptus and sake scent. It was a whole body massage with also some hot rock therapy too. My masseur was a little too gentle at first so I asked for little more pressure and she was able to accommodate. My husband states his masseur provided a pretty deep pressure when requesting for medium pressure. He did overall enjoy it. They moved the lower extremities with added passive stretch in addition to massaging. They climb on top of you in some of their massage techniques. Overall, we enjoyed our experience there and would recommend the Groupon deal. read more

I read a review about not answering the phone. Everything you need is ONLINE. You book and pay and thats it. If you are calling and no one answers it's because they are giving a massage. If you are lying on the table do you want them to leave your massage to answer the phone? I know I don't. It is clearly a hidden Gem. When I walked in it felt inviting and calm. Judy did my massage and I came in with pain and left with relief. She even offered me some Ginseng tea which tasted good after a Great massage. I am definitely coming back. read more

Gigi and Ivy were awesome - very friendly and professional and put us at ease before we even started. They responded to our breathing & muscle cues really well and were apt at balancing their pressure and strength throughout the session. Would definitely recommend for a couple's self-care or even individual self-care treat! read more

Massage was okay. Paid 102$ for 90 min deep tissue, she started a few min late and ended a few min early so more like 80 min. The walking on my back was the best part otherwise the rest of the massage felt just okay, definitely not deep tissue. Didn't really touch my lower back or neck at all which were the only reasons I needed a massage in the first place. Only went here for the good reviews and price but wouldn't go back. Also didn't feel very clean, the hot stones were sitting in the sink in the bathroom so everyone who peed was washing their hands over the stones that go on your back. read more

Hatha massages has a professional & welcoming staff. I'm a repeat customer & have had good experiences at this business

Professional massage from certified massage therapists. Service is good and prices are fair. I recommend this business.

I was sore AF after a long hiking trip. So I was glad I was able to make a last-minute appointment in the evening. Ivy asked me what intensity I liked, and what body part to focus on. If you haven't had a thai massage before, they get on top of you and use your body weight to massage your muscles. They also stretched out some of my joints, which I also needed. Music was nice, and it was peaceful. All of my soreness went away after, so I felt like a brand new person! Would come back again. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of massage. I had a deal from Groupon and I've been having quite a bit of pain and stiffness in my neck and upper back, so I decided to give it a try. The person I called who made the appointment was very nice. There's lots of parking, good area. It's small but very tasteful and relaxing atmosphere. And the best part Ivy massaged the pain out of my neck and upper back! I feel so much better, such a relief! Ivy was very nice and very good about adjusting her technique based on my feedback - I wanted decent pressure but not a painful deep tissue massage, and it was just the ticket. I'm not usually big on regular massages, but I'll be going back. I do a lot of physical activity and should probably be using massages more regularly. This one was just what I needed, made my whole week! read more
