I guess I'm not the only one this recently happened to. I got gifted a groupon for a 60min massage - gift was $67 dollars but the actual advertised massage in store is only $60. Who pays more for a groupon? I rarely do this and hate leaving bad reviews but here it goes: 1. It's not the establishments fault that groupon overcharged however, the business owner, would not take ANY responsibility. My main complaint is that if you're the business owner and groupon is promoting/advertising your business, you should be aware of what's going on and take some responsibility for the false advertising...especially if I'm not the first person bringing this situation to your attention. The owner made it sound like she was powerless, when in fact, I'm sure groupon/business have some working relationship and they get kickbacks of some sort. 2. Communication. I am not knocking hardworking immigrants, I come from a family of them, but having no one on the premises that speaks any English is tough from a customers perspective, especially when customers expect to be heard and valued. 3. You can hear everything. Part of getting a massage means that you're placed in a serene environment. None of the rooms have doors closed, you can hear the massage taking place in the next room and more over, you can hear the conversations happening between the employees. Distracting to say the least. 4. The massage itself was okay. That's why they get two stars instead of one. read more

The good: Great value! I got a $45 Groupon for a 60 minute massage. It was a great deal. My husband then later got me a 90 minute massage here so I've been here twice. It was super easy to book online and availability is plentiful. I had two relaxing massages where I fell asleep toward the end. I enjoyed the facial/head massage the most. I did the hot stone option and that was also relaxing (especially because the front door of the shop was open so it was a bit cold inside). The bad: I came at 9:58 am to the spa but no one was there yet (opens at 10). No one picked up when I called. I left a voice message and no one called back. I called back again and got a woman who made my appointment but was quite impatient and cut me off a few times while speaking. During my second visit, the massage therapist picked up the phone from her bluetooth (hands free) 4-5 times as well as stepped out to see customers out front. I think they were understaffed or she is the only person who takes phone calls. There were moments where I felt cold though the bed is heated. The interesting: My first visit I had a male massage therapist. They have a sign that asks that you tip over 20% since they haven't raised their prices in years. read more

Pretty good massage with great price. I like my foot massage but not so much the back massage because my masseuse use her forearm to much. My husband was the opposite, he like his back massage but not his foot massage because he said that the masseuse just rubbing lotion. His back how ever the masseuse did better job at going into his muscle. Really depends on the masseuse you got and what part of your body need to be worked on. This place has changed so badly!! They used to be really good for popping in and getting a cool foot massage after a crazy workout or a basic body massage. I don't know if it's owned by someone else or what, but the last few times I've gone has been pretty tough- with this last time being horrible! I got a foot massage today and they put me in a room where all I heard was banging, yelling and the tv from next door! It was extremely loud. The tech also refused to close the massage room door! When I arrived, she left it wide open with the curtains up- so I closed it to prevent other staff from clearly seeing me getting undressed. When she came in she just closed the curtain so every time they opened the establishment door, I got a super chilly draft! Room was freezing cold! When I asked to be moved, she told me she had no rooms but there was no one there but me! It was awful!! Her hands were cold, and they had my legs wrapped in a cold wet towel which made it a very uncomfortable situation. The lady then starts talking to someone and they're laughing and chopping it up like I'm not even there! The craziest part is I take the towel off my face cuz the pressure of the massage has changed and see that it is now a man who is now giving me a massage! I was done!! I think the scam is they get you to pay first and then treat you however hoping you leave so they keep your money regardless! I told the "manager" about my bad experience and she says sorry next time give you a different room! I told her how wrong they were to switch to a male tech even though I requested a woman and she just repeated the same shit! Mind you, she's dressed in a full winter coat! I wasn't gonna let them continue to try and play in my face, nor did I want to argue, so I was leaving and they had the audacity to ask me for a tip!! I just turned and told her- Tip #1. Never give massages to any paying customer in that loud ass room. Tip #2. Get some heat in here because if you're freezing, so is your clients. Tip #3. Train your staff and yourself on care etiquette! Tip #4. If a person has a horrible experience and tells you about it, never ask them for a tip! I forgot to add the biggest and most important tip- If a woman specifically asks for a female masseuse, do not switch to a male at any point of the massage! That is damn near criminal! I can go on for days in saying why that's wrong but then this review will be much longer than it already is! read more

Told me she closed at 9:30 at first then switched up & said 8pm when they close at 10 pm. I made an appointment for 7 PM. I've been reading comments of her saying the reason why she does 10am-4pm for Groupon customers it's because it's heavily discounted which it's not that's another lie. The massages are $60. I paid $56 so four dollar difference is not heavily discounted! I'm new to town & wanted somewhere I can go weekly! But after that phone call I will never step foot in there. And when I told her my concern that I can only go after 6 PM because of work she basically told me she didn't know what to tell me and that I should just cancel, but I've been purchased this through Groupon so there's no way I can cancel it now. So disappointing. My daughter and I purchased 90 minute "deep tissue" massages. We have had great experiences here in the past. Not so much this time. What was different? First, the woman massaging my daughter kept leaving to answer the phone. Who can enjoy a 90 minute massage that keeps stopping and starting--and ends up to be far less than 90 minutes due to all the interruptions? Plus she sometimes answered the phone in the room, speaking loudly. Then she complained to her coworker about the customers who make appointments they don't keep. Not exactly a relaxing atmosphere. Second, the woman massaging me didn't get the "deep tissue" memo. When I asked her to please massage harder, she did--for about three minutes. Then she complained to her coworker that I had asked for a deeper massage. (I guess I don't look like I speak Chinese.). Then she returned to a Swedish-style massage. Third, both my massage and that of my daughter got progressively lighter as time went on. By the end, the woman was just rotating my feet. Seemed like she was just running out the clock.
