Had such an amazing experience at The Massage. 5/5 45min Deep Tissue Massage. Grace did my deep tissue massage and it was amazing. She started out by walking on me and then I asked for focus to be on my lower back and hamstrings and she was fabulous. 5/5 45min Sauna Wrap this was such a unique service offering and it felt so good on my muscles especially after an amazing deep tissue massage. I will say that the 45 min did feel a little long but I might just be a wimp. Normally I can only last 15min in a sauna. The first 20min I was asleep and then got a little toasty. But I was able air myself a little bit since they didn't fully zip me in. This place is amazing! The staff is so sweet & walk you through everything once you walk in the door & check in for appt. The massage therapists were incredibly thorough & really put their all into the massage. This was my first experience with a full body massage & it exceeded my expectations by 100x . They asked about areas that need more attention & inquired throughout the massage about pressure levels & just checked in to make sure we were still comfortable. The girls doing our massages were so strong My favorite part was the bars on the ceiling so they can walk on you & really get in there. My friend told me that I could book a massage, so when I searched for a place, THE MASSAGE was in a plaza I was familiar with so I decided to book there. My first impression upon walking in was that it's very beautiful inside and clean. Relaxing and calming vibes for sure. I had a 60-minute Thai massage and really enjoyed it! We usually go to a place in LA because my husband loves his Thai massages but he's very particular about them. So the next time, I told my husband to try it since it's closer to home. He loved it! And even if he were to say he didn't it, I wouldn't believe it because his snoring told me otherwise. I always have tension in my neck and back and tightness in my shoulders because of stress from work. But I always feel so much relief after because the massages here feel absolutely amazing. I realized I need to make The Massage a regular part of my routine. The parking is small and it's next to a popular Chinese restaurant, but they do have a couple dedicated spaces. I used to visit this place regularly, and at times they had good therapists. However, I had a very strange and disappointing experience when I brought two of my best friends from out of town for a massage. Their website clearly lists a 90-minute massage at $120, but they charged my friends $150 each because they are slightly overweight. When I raised this concern, the staff explained that it was "more difficult" to massage someone who is a little overweight. This response was unacceptable, and following my complaint, they even blocked both my phone number and my daughter's. Now, whenever we call, it goes straight to their recorded message. In my opinion, this is unprofessional and unfair treatment, and it reflects poorly on the reputation of their business. read more

From the moment I walked in, I felt relaxed. I was coming off a serious injury and started back strength training so I was very stiff and tight. The deep tissue massage mixed with stretching was perfect. I will be back soon cuz I know I'm going to need it as I train harder. My masseuse Dee was very attentive and asked me over and over - how was the pressure. She was very attentive and paid a lot of details to where I needed most work. Place is clean, nicely decorated and gives relaxing vibes as soon as you walk in. The rating is mainly for the quality of massage, I got a 90 min deep tissue. I could tell the masseuse was tired, she spent 80% of the time using her elbows and forearms and when she did use her hands she had very little strength. It was a bad blend of gentle and too rough. I'll admit that it probably wasn't a great idea to book the last slot of the night, a 730 pm appointment, but if the place takes the appointment they should make sure that masseuse are available and have sufficient breaks between massages. I've had plenty of massages and was feeling extra tense so wanted to splurge a bit and found this place. Disappointed to pay $150 + tip and feel like I left more tense. read more

It's extremely unprofessional that they blocked my number after I'd been a loyal customer for over two years and always tipped 20-30%. To then send a message saying they no longer want to provide services without any explanation is not only humiliating but also disrespectful. I thought I had built a good relationship with them, but clearly that wasn't the case. I was one of their regular customers but, I stopped going there due to a few unpleasant incidents I experienced with them. The massage therapists themselves may be skilled, but the owner-therapists are completely unprofessional when it comes to handling payment transaction and service. Also, the staffs are not familiar with handling their payment system and therefore, they could not even process refund credit and made me to call them multiple times to process it properly. Such a waste of time... Further, they also did not even know how to issue the refund receipt and sent me initial charge receipt instead. The day before the appointment Mr. Ryan asked me if the time could be rearranged and I said yes but then he changed it again so I said yes again. On the day of the appointment, he canceled my appointment out of the blue just a few hours before it was supposed to happen, saying he was out of town. I already accommodated his request twice. It was ridiculous. In addition, he was the one who canceled the appointment, but he immediately texted me that a $24 cancellation fee would be charged which could be applied towards my next visit as a credit, and it was absolutely outrageous. He shouldn't have charged me the cancellation fee as he was the one who canceled, not me. So, I called the massage place to have the fee removed, but the staff kept on saying the system wouldn't allow it so there's nothing they could do which was hardly believable as I knew it could be done as any other retail places do. After a few phone calls with the staffs to have them figure it out, finally, Ryan called me and refunded $24 cancellation fee. No honesty, not reliable. He then said would send me the refund receipt but sent me a charge receipt instead which was a wrong one and thus so I had to contact him again to get the correct refund receipt. I seriously don't understand how a retail business could make this such a mess for a simple transaction causing all the inconveniences for a customer. After all this, no apologies from them. Another time, I asked Nikki for a cancellation confirmation. She said she'd take care of it, but after waiting 20 minutes and receiving nothing, I called the shop again, only to be told that Nikki had already left for the day which was very irresponsible and unprofessional. There were other incidents but will conclude as I don't want to waste my time anymore for this. I put my time to leave an honest review so that it'd be helpful for anyone who seeks this place thinking they could deliver a great service but simply, I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

The Massage opened about 3 months ago but the massage therapists are seasoned professionals. The place itself is clean and well appointed. There are two showers and multiple rooms. There are high ceilings and the place exudes an understated elegance. Since they just opened they have a special of a 1 hour massage for $69 if you book a massage from 10am-3pm. My husband and I came in for a couples massage. My husband is very picky and has massages every once in a while. He LOVED his massage with DeeDee. I also had a great massage with Nikki. I hurt my arm and she was sensitive to the area. My shoulders and back were a mess and Nikki used hot stones. Nikki is a gem and I almost hate to suggest her so she doesn't get too booked up, but she deserves the credit. Nikki and DeeDee asked about our massage needs and we communicated easily. My husband now wants to make the couples massage a monthly date- he was that impressed. We are definitely coming back. Thank you DeeDee and Nikki for a relaxing and incredible massage. I wish I could give this place 10 stars! This place was super clean, very calming and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. I scheduled a 2 hour deep tissue massage and my boyfriend scheduled a 1 hour deep tissue massage at the same time slot. Even though we didn't book a couples massage due to the massage time differences, they still treated it as a couples massage and we were in the same room. The prices are great for the quality of the massage. My masseuse was Angie. She was amazing! She applied a lot of pressure (which is what I wanted) and checked in periodically to ensure it wasn't too much. She made sure I was covered with the sheet as I changed positions, you could just tell she was very mindful as she worked. I also had the hot stones and towards the end she even stretched me out which was amazing. I had a complimentary green tea at the end of my visit. I felt like she was very attuned to sensitive areas and applied just the right amount of pressure and finesse.
