I had a great massage. I picked a Swedish massage and more of a relaxing massage more than anything. Focusing on my neck and upper back. I had a very great experience. I went with my boyfriend and we had a shared room. It was very relaxing and I felt so good afterwards. Will be coming back again! read more

I have been coming here for a couple of years now. Today though was a trip. I went in with neck and shoulder tension the woman that saw me only worked on one side pretty much for one hour. when she was done and I brought it up she told me next time get 90 minutes. The front desk told me the same. She said there was no time to do my other side!(???) I told her that is not true the therapist should balance it out. I have been getting massages for 42 years and this was the most painful and weird appointment in my life. My neck and shoulders on my right side are giving me trouble now. I will go someplace else to get this fixed. I paid and tipped. BEWARE they want everyone to buy 90 minutes or IT'S NOT ENOUGH TIME. This place is not cheap either. read more

The good: My husband purchased 5 hours worth of massages from here for me as a gift. I did the mixed Thai with Swedish massage. It was my first time trying Thai massage (they use their elbows, legs arms and feet and use bars on the ceiling to balance themselves as they massage you). I think I'll stick to Swedish massage because the Thai massage was a little intense for me. However, I can see how Thai massages would be great for folks who need a deep tissue massage or folks who like strong pressure. The bad: I wish they had an online booking option. They have a clear sign with the suggested and preferred amount of tip dependent on how many hours your massage was. Upon finishing the massage, the receptionist handed me the tip envelope. I didn't love how expected tips were. I had knots in my upper back that the massage therapist could feel but at the end of the session she didn't dissolve them. Normally, they're dissolved at the end of my massage sessions at other studios. The interesting: They had signs warning people that sexual harassment isn't permitted. read more

I love this place! Pookie is the best massage therapist. I was in so much pain, I went in and she was able to pinpoint my spots that needed help. She even gave extra time and attention to my lower back. She was not stingy on the time at all. She sent me home with homework to stretch and use a back stretcher, and I've felt so much better since! read more

A Truly Exceptional Deep Tissue Experience at Busaba Thai Massage If you're looking for a massage that actually fixes the problem instead of just feeling good for an hour, Busaba Thai Massage in Torrance is on another level. From the moment I walked in, the space felt clean, calm, and professional. But what really sets them apart is the skill level. This is not your typical "relaxation" massage. Their deep tissue work is precise, intentional, and incredibly effective. I came in with serious tightness in my upper back, stubborn knots around my shoulder blades, and lingering sciatic pain that had been flaring up. Within minutes, it was clear I was in expert hands. The therapist worked with a level of anatomical understanding that honestly felt surgical. They weren't randomly applying pressure -- they were methodically tracing muscle lines, identifying adhesions, and releasing tension point by point. The way they addressed my sciatica was especially impressive. Instead of just focusing on the lower back, they worked through the glutes, hips, and surrounding muscle groups that contribute to nerve compression. You can tell they truly understand how the body connects and compensates. The pressure was strong (as requested), but controlled and purposeful. Every knot was addressed. Every tight band of muscle was worked through with patience and precision. It was intense at times -- in that "this is exactly what my body needed" kind of way -- and the relief afterward was immediate. By the end of the session: My range of motion noticeably improved The chronic tightness in my shoulders was dramatically reduced My sciatic discomfort felt lighter and less reactive I walked out feeling aligned, mobile, and reset This isn't just a massage -- it's corrective bodywork done by professionals who clearly know anatomy and take pride in their craft. If you sit at a desk all day, lift heavy, train hard, deal with chronic tightness, or struggle with sciatica, do yourself a favor and book here. Busaba Thai Massage delivers real results. I'll absolutely be back. Easily one of the best deep tissue massages I've had in the South Bay. read more

This was my first time getting a massage, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel comfortable and well cared for. I went in with aches and tension throughout my body, and by the time I left, I felt completely refreshed and rejuvenated. The massage therapist was exceptional and truly focused on my needs. I left feeling like a million bucks! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back. read more

Clean facility and went in for a couples massage with my husband after a long ski trip. The room was a little cold, but otherwise the facility was clean and great. I had to ask several times for the Thai massage for increased pressure but my husband (he has a higher threshold) did not need to. Would go back. read more

Awesome place. Very clean and extremely highly skilled women. Nara is absolutely my favorite. She knows how to treat my muscles and relax my sore joints every time I go. Place is clean and staff is very friendly and alway delivers the best massages all over South bay. Most definitely my favorite spot after a long day at work. read more

THE BEDS ARE HEATED! That was the first thing I noticed. You do need to remove your clothes except your undies. Jina understood the assignment. I've had right shoulder aches and tightness for a few weeks. I have sciatica tightness in my lower back. She hit all those spots and I felt relief. During the massage I experienced relief, pain, and spasms from muscles loosening. But I want the pain and she did not shy away from my reaction. It was exactly what I needed. I will definitely come back. read more

It's such a great authentic Thai massage (knowing because I've been in Thailand 5x). My husband and I go there since 7 years and we love it. It is always clean and we feel well taken care of. Would definitely recommend this Thai massage place. I always get the combo massage. Be aware that Thai massage includes stretching so if you are not too flexible let them know, it can include walking on your back so if you have any issues, let them know. I love and enjoy it. We tried many places before we found Busaba. read more

I love coming here! I have been coming here for a while so this review is a bit overdue. So far I have yet to have a bad experience. Now, all masseuse are different but so far it's been good. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Listen to what I ask and have not applied too much pressure or not asked if it's enough or I need more. It's definitely a welcoming and relaxing space which I expect from a massage place. I will be back for sure! read more

Really amazing and skilled technique. I went in on Jan 1st and started feeling like I needed another massage Jan 20. That's 3 weeks of not feeling like I needed another treatment. That. Is. Incredible. I don't usually pass out during deep tissue work but I think I did because I only recall a few instances. She went from one end all the way to the other, effectively reducing that pressure. Many (all others that I've gone to) work on patches of your body. Additionally, I got a massage done the week prior and they messed me up at another massage spot in Santa Ana. Rn I'm wondering how I can make a trip regularly to Torrance from Lake Forest. Parking is very tight. Like 5 spots in the back. I don't know where else you can park. It seems mostly businesses and homes behind. This massage spot has been around for decades. They have artfully decorated walls and a cozy ambiance. Their bathrooms are so clean as well! read more

Mia was my therapist, and highly recommend her! I had incredible soreness from my basketball and workouts for the week. She got all the lactic acid out and I felt brand new. Place is clean and will come back read more

Well... I needed a long overdue massage. I received a great massage from Mia. She was friendly and asked questions about what type of massage I wanted. I received a combo of Swedish &Thai massage. I recently had a shoulder injury and Mia was able to focus on that area and was extremely careful. I give this place 5 stars and the massage as well. The place was clean and customer service was great. I highly recommend this massage spa. They have parking in the back that's easy to locate. If you're going to be late PLEASE ask them do you get the full 60 or 90min. I'll be back to visit this place in the future read more

Another PERFECT 1 hr. massage from Lisa. She is always my go to lady when I'm a little sore from a tough gym workout, a 30 mile or more bicycle ride or 2 days of front yard renovation. Lisa always seems to know what to do when I specify the areas of pain. Last Friday was the best massage yet with her hands of an angel technique..Swedish with a little muscle stretching. Because Lisa tends to tweak her talents on every visit, my massages are never the same. Busaba is the best place to go for a wonderful soothing experience read more

This place is a hidden gem. It is clean and affordable. I enjoy Pookie's massage...she is a professional and knows how to listen to your body. Her technique is amazing and she is able to help you heal your body. I strongly recommend her and this place. read more

My go to for massages now!! Nara DELIVERED! My 90 min massage seemed way too short and it was I've of my favorite massage because she stretches my neck muscles as well as working through all the knots. I LOVE deep tissue and this was on of my favorites! She walked meticulously on my back and I'm all about deep firm pressure done properly! She knew how to get into the muscle layers without it feeling painful for me. I'm the step who loves when they are step on my back and apply pressure but only if done correctly. Nara provided excellent quality and also explained hope the body is all connected. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage from Nara and would definitely go back!! read more

Good massage and they get to a point, nice and quiet little place. Parking space in the back of the building

First time trying Thai massage in South Bay. Ample parking located at the back of building. Inside - soothing dimmed lights with seems like cherrywood wall welcomes you towards the reception desk. Prices are well listed, but a little confusing with ample variety of selections. I had a 60 minutes massage for $70. Rooms are cleaned, with soft covers. My massager "Nara" was excellent! She calmly massaged deeply in the knots. A 90 minutes massage would definitely take care of all my knots!!!! Looking forward to going back again!! read more

That's my go to massage place whenever I want a good strong massage. The service is always good and the masseuse very friendly. They can go harder if you want to, I like Thai Massage, so don't be shy to let them know if it's too much for you. I usually do the Thai but it's up to you. read more

Yesterday I did a massage to relax before my long flight that I have in a few days. Elisa took care of me, when she claim on me on my lower back I felt a really bad pain along with a pop sound on the right side next to the spine , the whole session the pain was bothering me a lot ( it wasn't a regular crack when you get a massage ) I tried to deal with the pain , I'm in a lot of pain I can barely move. I'll need to go see a physical therapist for the problem because the pain is not tolerant , the problem is that I need to travel in a few days . I just wanted to let u know , she was a sweet lady but it is important to know how to massage , im injured and it hurts really bad. I never ever for this problem when i do my massages once a month . The pain is getting whose ( again I never ever experienced anything like this before when getting a massage ) it is very very painful. The pain starts on the middle part of the back and it shoots on top of my gluteus. read more

Great service Meya and angel there were great I recommend this place very clean very professional .I will definitely come back

Staff is always friendly, rooms are always clean, appointments available throughout the day. If you've never had a thai back walking massage and adjustments I highly recommend it. The hip mobility difference after one of these massages is drastic. I feel like this is a service that would easily cost 200 dollars and be less effective at a chiropractor. read more

Yaya is the best! I have been experiencing pain in areas I couldn't tackle alone. Yelp reviews were high for this place so I decided to give them a try. I am so glad that I did. Yaya's energy is warm and welcoming! She exercised extreme care in identifying and tackling my problem areas. Good pressure and communication around anatomy and how your muscles are connected. I left feeling lighter with more flexibility and less tension. I highly recommend the Thai massage for those who prefer more intense massages and stretching. Self care is important! Don't cheat yourself. Treat yourself! You will not be disappointed. read more

If you're looking for a Thai massage, this place would be it. Pat did all sorts of Thai massage techniques I didn't expect. I went to some supposedly Thai massage in Vegas and there she maybe did a couple things to my body with stretching and back walking or what not. It was not the best. But here, Pat utilized all sorts of things I was not aware of and all of that - did my body good! She was able to know my back and shoulders were extremely tight and did everything in her ability to loosen some of the knots I had. So if you're not afraid to get stretched out like Plato and kneaded like dough, you're in for a real treat. I even had a massage with the stomach. I came out of there with less stress on my much needed areas of the back, neck, and shoulders. Thank you Pat for doing such a phenomenal job! read more

Come here for your massages!! I am picky about finding skilled massage therapists and Yaya is definitely trained and intuitive!! She can also give firm pressure, which I like! I could tell she wanted to help heal my tense neck and shoulder and worked hard at accomplishing that. Thank you Yaya! Professional, clean, kind, and lovely environment! I am so grateful I found this place!! read more

This is my go-to massage spot whenever I'm in Torrance. Their staff are really hospitable. I had a combo massage which is a combination of Thai and Swedish. I felt so much better after. The therapist really targeted the areas where I was having some pain, and she did it in the pressure I was comfortable with. I like that their hours are pretty long. Highly recommend! read more

So I went snowboarding... Ended up with a tight back muscle and it started to really tighten up all thru the front of my thigh. Had so much pain Decided I needed to address this and what I was doing on my own wasn't working as it felt like the muscle was just getting tighter and impeding me from walking upright. Pain was so bad I didn't want to take chance of a lesser or lower cost place. Plus I knew I wanted to get stretched out. And that's Thai massage. Went here and Yaya pressed and stretched me really good. No pain no gain style. To frame this I'm a kind of heavy dude. 6'0" 265lbs. And this lady had me feeling like a little baby the whole time. Once because I typically don't find strong enough people to push into me where it's consistent and sustained. And I'm it not like a poke but full press. It was great and what i needed. Which I am of course aware it's because they are standing on you and have those poles for balance and leverage. And the stretching was right into my ability which is Ito very flexible. But just enough to make me know I could almost call uncle but held on. Right there at that magic threshold of the least amount of good necessary pain for max gain. Kind of like when I did PT on fractured ankle. And secondly because I was relieved and sleepy after. I just wanted to go to bed. I got the 90mins combination based on recommendation of the shop. it was what I needed. In case you are wondering about covid: Everyone here is wearing a mask the whole time. Sanitizer everywhere. Clean facility. Small individual water bottles on the tables. Protective glass around cashiers table. read more

Great massage highly recommend this place got a deep tissue with Yaya and it took carenof all my knots

My oh my, I just left this place feeling like I wanted to turn back around and ask for more time. 60 mins felt like heaven but I could use 30 more hehe! Wow thank you so much for the prompt service, I appreciate how attentive my therapist was. I received deep tissue massage, my therapist could tell where I needed pressure and she got those knots for me wonderfully. I am a very ticklish person but I powered through and was proud of myself because I try not to disturb their work. My first time here and I've converted over. Thank you so much, I hope to see you soon! read more

I told them that I was on my lunch break, and they asked me what time I needed to be out of there and that they would charge me for that time, so it turned into a 45-minute massage, so they provided a cheaper rate. I really love this massage spot!! After living in South Bay and trying place after place, this location has it all. Heated beds (they can be cool too!), hot stones, scrubs, hot oil, professional staff, and they are all Thai so they can give you a real Thai massage! I ask for Yaya and/or Rus! Alyssa is great too! Very attentive therapists who care about your body and muscles. I usually love to get the combo Swedish/Thai with hot stones. Pricing is so reasonable for what you receive. You can CHOOSE YOUR MASSAGE! How awesome?! To top it off they have an amazing cleaning regimen and TWO clean restrooms that you can use and not feel gross about it. Such friendly folks.
