The good: My husband purchased 5 hours worth of massages from here for me as a gift. I did the mixed Thai with Swedish massage. It was my first time trying Thai massage (they use their elbows, legs arms and feet and use bars on the ceiling to balance themselves as they massage you). I think I'll stick to Swedish massage because the Thai massage was a little intense for me. However, I can see how Thai massages would be great for folks who need a deep tissue massage or folks who like strong pressure. The bad: I wish they had an online booking option. They have a clear sign with the suggested and preferred amount of tip dependent on how many hours your massage was. Upon finishing the massage, the receptionist handed me the tip envelope. I didn't love how expected tips were. I had knots in my upper back that the massage therapist could feel but at the end of the session she didn't dissolve them. Really amazing and skilled technique. I went in on Jan 1st and started feeling like I needed another massage Jan 20. That's 3 weeks of not feeling like I needed another treatment. That. Is. Incredible. I don't usually pass out during deep tissue work but I think I did because I only recall a few instances. She went from one end all the way to the other, effectively reducing that pressure. Many (all others that I've gone to) work on patches of your body. Additionally, I got a massage done the week prior and they messed me up at another massage spot in Santa Ana. Rn I'm wondering how I can make a trip regularly to Torrance from Lake Forest. Prices are well listed, but a little confusing with ample variety of selections. I had a 60 minutes massage for $70. Rooms are cleaned, with soft covers. My massager "Nara" was excellent! Yesterday I did a massage to relax before my long flight that I have in a few days. Elisa took care of me, when she claim on me on my lower back I felt a really bad pain along with a pop sound on the right side next to the spine , the whole session the pain was bothering me a lot ( it wasn't a regular crack when you get a massage ) I tried to deal with the pain , I'm in a lot of pain I can barely move. I'll need to go see a physical therapist for the problem because the pain is not tolerant , the problem is that I need to travel in a few days . I went to some supposedly Thai massage in Vegas and there she maybe did a couple things to my body with stretching and back walking or what not. It was not the best. But here, Pat utilized all sorts of things I was not aware of and all of that - did my body good! She was able to know my back and shoulders were extremely tight and did everything in her ability to loosen some of the knots I had. So if you're not afraid to get stretched out like Plato and kneaded like dough, you're in for a real treat. I even had a massage with the stomach. So I went snowboarding... Ended up with a tight back muscle and it started to really tighten up all thru the front of my thigh. Had so much pain Decided I needed to address this and what I was doing on my own wasn't working as it felt like the muscle was just getting tighter and impeding me from walking upright. Pain was so bad I didn't want to take chance of a lesser or lower cost place. Plus I knew I wanted to get stretched out. And that's Thai massage. Went here and Yaya pressed and stretched me really good. No pain no gain style. To frame this I'm a kind of heavy dude. 6'0" 265lbs. And this lady had me feeling like a little baby the whole time. Once because I typically don't find strong enough people to push into me where it's consistent and sustained. And I'm it not like a poke but full press. It was great and what i needed. Which I am of course aware it's because they are standing on you and have those poles for balance and leverage. And the stretching was right into my ability which is Ito very flexible. But just enough to make me know I could almost call uncle but held on. Right there at that magic threshold of the least amount of good necessary pain for max gain. Kind of like when I did PT on fractured ankle. And secondly because I was relieved and sleepy after. I just wanted to go to bed.
