My boyfriend was gracious enough to book us a couple massage for this weekend! A friend recommended this place, so he called ahead and they were able to accommodate us. There's plenty of parking right outside! We were greeted by a gentleman at the front desk who asked if we wanted a medium or deep tissue massage. We went with medium since it was our first time, and he reassured us we could always ask to adjust the pressure as the massage went on. He also asked if we wanted to be in the same room or separate rooms. We didn't mind either way, so we were put in separate rooms. The massage was fantastic. The masseuse kept checking in to make sure the pressure was okay. I really liked the hot stones, which were included in the original price. So relaxing! And the part where they cracked my back was super satisfying. I also appreciated the music playing in the background; it really helped me relax. Overall a great experience. We'll definitely come back! :) read more

Amazing body 90 min massage. Which i really needed and deserved. Was having a day to destress myself for sure! Walked in and they accomodated me right away! read more

The owner/manager changed his attitude suddenly after I asked him how much I should tip the lady. He said 15 or 20 and I tipped 15. He became a different person than who he was when I came in. Bro stay cool! I wanted to come back but now no way! read more

Jin Mao offers amazing hot-stone massages at prices that can't be beat in the South Bay. I have been going to Jin Mao regularly since 2020. Do yourself a favor and request a 90 minute massage from Angela! It's impossible to describe Angela's talent for sensing the subtle spots where your body is holding on to tension, and knowing exactly how to apply pressure to get it to let go. She's truly a bodywork wizard. It's going to suck if I can't get a reservation after posting this review, but the world needs to know about Jin Mao! read more

Awesome customer service, appointment availability awesome, price point awesome. Massage is hit or miss. The atmosphere is very relaxing with soft music and dim lit rooms. Massage is hit or miss depending on what masseuse and experience they have. I've had both sides of the spectrum. Overall it's 50/50. read more

Great massage, very reasonable prices. This place is in a strip mall so, I wasn't expecting the best. When you are taken into the massage area the lighting is very subdued and there is mood music playing. Masseuses are professional and check on you to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed. I went in for the hour massage and I didn't expect to be able to handle the hour. It felt like 15 minutes. Can't wait to go back. You can pay with card for the service but, take cash for the tip. I wish I knew that beforehand. I would have definitely left a bigger tip. Can't wait for the next time. read more

The massages here are amazing! I treated myself to a 90-minute massage because I've been very stressed and sore. My masseuse Nancy was wonderful, she gave a great massage and was very kind. I came out feeling refreshed and relaxed. The atmosphere is also very nice and relaxing. Make sure you bring cash for tip! read more

I'm disappointed in the service I received today. My daughter and I have come here for years. It was hot and stuffy in the room and I felt claustrophobic so I couldn't do the massage and the owner rushed me out laughing when I told him there was no air circulation. Then I asked for a chair manage in the open area and he brushed me off saying no, no, we have another customer. I felt that was very disrespectful, he was not compassionate and he was very rude! I won't be back here too many other massage places in LA who have good service! read more

The massage therapist here are very professional and as a taekwondo athlete I go from time to time to get a deep tissue each time. I usually get at least one hour and I have them do from back to head to toe and it's amazing. I want to say that I've had other experiences with massage spas and not all of them were always professional or respectable, but this place is everything I come here because the service is what keeps me coming back! read more

Great service, quiet and relaxing, cash is better but card is accepted. A local spot hidden away just for the peace you're looking for.

Me, my brother, and my boyfriend are all very athletic and love to move. And because of this, we suffer from many aches and pains in joints and muscles all over. I especially have LOTS of pain in my lower back and legs, whereas the guys seem to care most tension in their upper body. I was able to convey this to the owner via text and asked for deep tissue for all three of us. They are very flexible with their timing and you can really switch up based off of what you need (example: I asked for 15min feet instead of the 30 for the 30-90 package) The interior is very soothing with music playing over the speakers with sounds of rushing water. There are bo private rooms, it is all separated via curtains but I did not see any gaps and did not feel uncomfortable at any time. You will have to undress until you are in just your bottom underwear, this is pretty standard for most massage places so please be aware of that. They have a small table for you to put your belongings in the same room you will receive your massage. When the lady came in it was pretty obvious she wasn't able to speak english all too well. But she was very kind and soft spoken and checked in with me multiple times throughout the massage. This massage was very upper body focused so please expect them to focus on your neck and upper back. Personally, my masseuse was extremely strong and I felt like she was breaking my back (in a good way). She uses her whole body to apply pressure and I felt many knots in my neck being worked. However, the only reason I give this place 4 stars is because I specifically requested for my lower back and my legs with the owner and with the masseuse multiple times but I don't feel this request was met. I explained my main problem area was my lower back and she spent maybe 5-10minutes of the entire 90minute massage in that area which disappointed me. I am a 5'2" and 115lbs girl so for me, she felt quite strong and I actually had to ask her for a bit more softness. However, the boys told me their masseuses felt way too gentle and they wished they could've been rougher. There are only female masseuses here so if you are hoping for a stronger touch, you may need to look elsewhere. The ladies are extremely skilled but I do think on a larger body they may fall a little short on power. Overall the experience was nice and I would definitely come here again just based off the price! However, I hope they will be a little more accommodating as it seems they just give most people the same massage routine. read more

Amazing massage and such a great deal! Walked in and the customer service was greeting in helping me choose the right combo. I went with the 60min body and 30min foot. Cece was fantastic! They started with body first and ended with feet. Not much work on the quads just in case that's a concern for you. Hot stone was also included for free. Tips must be in cash though read more

Nice massage option for South Bay Area resident's - price is now up to $50 for an hour or a little higher or lower depending on type (foot only etc). Lobby is well lit and clean and nice - with easy check-in and friendly service. The massages themselves were very good and relaxing - they ask how firm or soft you like and actually listen. This is classic simple Chinese massage parlor but done very well at an affordable price! Check it out! read more

I always do the combination 60 body + 30 foot massage and it is great! My masseuse made sure there were truly no more knots near my back, neck, and foot the most which was reassuring. Throughout the session, the same amount of pressure is applied, no loss in energy from the masseuses which i must applaud. Not much was done for the quads but i'm sure you can communicate that you want that to be of high focus as well and they can do so. Great! This last time I walked in and they luckily had time but appointments are calling in advance is always best! read more

I completely fell in love with this place! The gentleman that answered phone and set the appointment was very kind and accommodating. I appreciate the fact that they whisper and tell you to turn off your phone. ( I've been to other locations and the customers are somewhat loud.) He personally walks you to your room so to speak ( bc the are small stalls with beds and curtains. You can not see or barely hear anyone) I purchased the 30 min body and 30 mins feet all for 50 this price is unmatched! . Let me tell you when she did my feet I feel asleep. It's soooo relaxing in there with the water fountain they have. I purchased a certificate for my friend as it's her bday and he was kind enough to gift her the Lavender Oil- Plus Plus! Next time I will get the lavender oil. If you bring Cash you will save the $2 per person fee. Totally recommend this Hidden Gem! read more

I walked in without an appointment and was immediately taken care of--every need was attended to! I often struggle with overpaying for massages and leaving disappointed, but today was completely different. This place delivers a one-of-a-kind experience--the kind you'll never forget! I highly recommend it. The ambience, the care, and the attention to detail truly set it apart. For me, these things matter most, and they nailed it! I have had high end spa massages that cost hundreds of dollars, cheap Mall massages in a chair outside the food court and everything in between. This massage was one of the better ones. The owner was attentive and kind. I didn't have to wait past my appointment and the masseuse did a great job. This is not a fancy place by any means, but it is clean and does the job. I love that it is close to my home and affordable. I will be going back. read more

Needed a massage today (4th of July), and I'm so thankful that they were open. I ended up getting a medium massage for my lower back pain and I felt some relief! I didn't catch my massage person's name unfortunately, but I will be definitely be back again as the pricing was pretty reasonable compared to others. Definitely left a big tip, because it was really an amazing experience for me. read more

Called an hour ahead to schedule a couples massage. Found this place on Yelp. It is across the street from the Gardena Target in the same plaza as the chicken spot. Parking is a little tight so plan ahead and try to come early. They had a small check-in area. They asked us if we needed a combo or full body massage we opted for a massage 90 min with 20 min of it being feet. The whole week we were COMPLETELY sore from working out and these awesome massage therapists worked out kinks out and made us feel great. Being an athlete all my life, the massages really make a difference. I am so happy i found this place. As most people said the massage is a great value so make sure you tip your massage therapist!!!! I would say 20-25% is the minimum you should tip, based on price alone. They do great work here! read more

The massage is really good! The environment is clean and quiet. The massage therapist is professional and frequently checked in the pressure level and you can request to adjust at any time. Highly recommend! read more
