Each evening started with shower to clean ourselves and get in the warm bath. Then go into the hot. Finally to get in the shock bath. Felt really good. Kids had a blast as it was very big and acted like a swimming pool. I even am considering the 10 day pack as even if my place has bath, its relaxing to be here. The people are nice and the free items to uses--razor, tooth brushes, etc. are great. The food I have tried before but we brought our own as we knew one day would be closed due to time and another because we didnt want to eat what was on the menu except for a mango milk shake, which we bought. We'll be back.

I only had a 35 minute massage but it was so thorough I felt more relaxed than I have at other massages that were 60-90 minutes. It helped a lot to have had warm tea and gone in a warm jacuzzi before the massage because I felt extra loose/relaxed. I liked the giant "MOM" lettering they had in the waiting area with roses for mother's day and the bonus butterfly gummies they gave as a special treat (similar to Sugarfina's). When you enter the spa on the 2nd floor you feel transported to a totally different zen Southeast Asia boutique. They have fake orchids/bamboo and fans that give it a SE Asia feel. They had lemonade and lemongrass tea that was self-serve. The tea was delicious! The jacuzzi was nice and I had it to myself for half of the time. I didn't use the sauna or steam room but they weren't full either. The robes were heavy and big so it covered you up a lot which made it easier to change in and out of clothes. You can wear your swimwear into the jacuzzi unlike at some of the Korean day spas. You can come 1 hour before your massage or facial service to use the communal jacuzzi/sauna area. My massage therapist was professional, thoughtful, thorough, strong and gave a great hand massage! The bad: Someone's phone alarm was going off for a really long time in the women's locker room. The interesting: The upstairs is normally for men but on mother's day they turned it into the "zen" floor and allowed women (no men that day).

The room itself was clean, but there were several things that were very strange and inconvenient as a paying customer that came to relax. Firstly, there is a sound that is made every time the door opens, and it is extremely loud. Even from inside the Massage room, I could hear everything happening outside and it was not relaxing at all to hear the dingdong every time the door opened. Second, I was not given a blanket to put over my body (just a small thin towel) and the room was fairly cold. In the middle of the Massage I had to ask for an additional blanket... and I was just given another small towel. Third, the masseuse asked for payment before the Massage, which is very unusual.... I didn't know if I should tip her before the massage as well and I felt awkward about the whole payment experience. Fourth, the masseuse went in and out of the room two times during the massage to deal with another customer... and she definitely did not give me the full hour massage considering that in and out, and her finishing earlier than the full hour mark which was really disappointing as a paying customer. Lastly, the massage itself was not great... it was very mediocre and it would've been OK if everything else that I mentioned was not an issue. Overall, I was really excited to try this place, but was very disappointed and the quality of the massage and just the whole experience in general. The explanation we received was that someone had called to notify us, but no one answered. This is simply not true. We did not receive a phone call, voicemail, text message, or any other communication regarding the cancellation. Canceling an appointment without properly notifying a customer and then informing them only after they have arrived is completely unacceptable. We took time out of our day, arranged our schedules, and traveled to your location expecting to receive the services we had booked. This situation reflects a serious lack of professionalism and respect for your customers' time. Had we been notified in advance, we could have made other arrangements. Instead, our time was wasted due to poor communication and a failure in customer service. As a result of this experience, you have lost us as customers. We are extremely disappointed with how this was handled.
