I went today for a facial that I purchased through Groupon. The facial was great! I have no complaints and I would rate the facial as 5 stars. I made the mistake of staying for a pedicure afterwards. I had to wait for half an hour before it started. The lady who did my pedicure cut my nails completely unevenly and made several comments that I considered to be rude. They did not have the color I chose from their cards and could not find my second choice color. I eventually asked for no polish just so I could leave. She put on a clear coat and it was all over my skin. The pedicure was the worst I have received and it was a bit pricy. read more

First, I made an appointment for my daughter and I to get our nails done. When I arrived there was only one nail technician available. So while she started on my nails, my daughter had to sit and wait for 25 min for the other tech to arrive. Second, this was the only place I have ever been to that charged to remove the gel nail color! Lastly, it's been less than a week and two nails have already been chipped! Sorry, not going back to this place. Poor service. poor quality. read more

I was satisfied with my experience with Tammy and New Image Day Spa. I will say the process was more lengthy than expected, and even with groupon rates, the place is still not a steal-deal. I got gel french on my fingers and normal french on my toes. Tammy listened to how I wanted my nails cut and honored my ask to not cut my cuticles around my whole nail bed. My gel lasted a very long time, I'm 3 weeks out and only have small chips on my right hand thumb and pointer finger (which are my most used fingers and makes sense. My toes chipped on the quicker side, but I don't think that had to do with how Tammy performed. The one thing I will say is I am skeptical about how the pedicure foot baths are cleaned. I would be careful to request extra cleaning and a plastic bag for the tub if I come back again. read more

Had sns dip done today on natural nails and Tiffany was great and deserves 5 stars! She is attentive, nice and respectful and did a great job on my nails. See my photo, she was wonderful! For the actual salon, it doesn't seem to deserve 5 stars. It is an average salon, with nice decor. Doesn't feel quite welcoming or a place that would draw you to return. Had it not been for Tiffany I doubt I would ever return. It might be a reflection on how the business is run there. read more

Decided to go here on a whim by being sucked in by a Groupon deal. Never plan on going back since this was by far the worst nail experience I've ever had. My nails look nothing like the picture I provided. My 12 year old daughter does a better job than this place! Nails are uneven, I was cut multiple times, there is still globs of acrylic under the nail s, the gel is lumpy and the V pattern in the tip and edge I requested is far from a V! It's gloppy U at best! I hope Groupon will give me my money back since I bought a three set deal with high hopes for this place. Very disappointing read more

Full disclaimer: I purchased a Groupon for a manicure and pedicure at New Image Day Spa. Services on a Groupon coupon can be hit or miss, but this was a HIT! Tiffany took her time with my hands and feet and it did not feel rushed at all. My feet soaked while she did my manicure. We chatted a bit here and there, but I was really able to relax and enjoy the experience. The salon was busy, but not overly so. It has an upper-class feel, and it seemed like the employees were well-treated and happier. The pedicure also went well - TIffany was thorough and never tried to up-sell me on extras. Both my hands and feet looked great! I was very happy with the whole experience and made an appointment for another (non-Groupon) mani and pedi. read more

Do NOT go here. Do NOT buy the groupon. This salon is the most cheapest quality and unprofessional salon that I have ever been to. Their products damaged my nails. The owner is so rude and her employees are worse. They sit and talk badly about customers. They make you wait and wait and wait. When I went the owner literally told me "I'm running late. I need you to leave and come back!" WTF!? So RUDE!!! They charge $5 to remove gel even though I got gel from them!!!!! Wth!? Poor service. Poor quality. Overall VERY UNSATISFIED. read more

Well I loved the way Tiffany initially did my nails. I originally purchased through Groupon. Since Tiffany provided good service & Groupon offered option to "buy again" I went ahead & purchased again. Plus, I purchased other services, threading, pedicure. And I even made an appointment to do facial tomorrow...well, the owner comes to me and says to read the fine print before buying. Walks away, turns her head and says "you have to read before you buy," and says it in a condescending manner in front of other customers! Then she returns to her customer and starts talking about me! Well, I did hear another customer there talking about her that she could be rude and condescending...well, she was not lying! I will not come back here again! Tiffany is sweet but I'm not going to pay this place for owner to condescend me!!!! Pina or whatever your name is...yes, I'm only one person but I hope my post will warn others of how you are! When a person runs a business you don't treat people with no respect. I would of been an ongoing long lasting customer. read more

I visited here though Groupon voucher. My appointment was 4 pm. I reached there around 3:50 pm. The owner, Nina, asked me my appointment and after that she did her own nails without caring about my appointment. After waiting till 4.30 pm, I finally did my nails. While doing so, i overheard her telling someone in her native language ( which I happened to understand) that Groupon Customers are useless. I felt bad and posted a review in Groupon, after which she texted as depicted in the screesshoots. read more

If I could give them no stars, I would. For one I scheduled for 4pm. Lady claims I said 3. Well honey I worked so no way I was going to do it for 3 if I have a set schedule getting off at 3:30. So she wasn't even there and they had to call her to come. Next, I came in for a threading service, not a plucking one. Plucked more than she threaded and left them half way done! Very messy. Never have had anyone thread my eyebrows the way she did. I understand sometimes you need to pluck, but some spots not all ! Second service was eyebrow tinting. She didn't even tint them! They look exactly the same! My advice, never come! No wonder it was dead here. read more

I do not recommend this nail spa. Their work is aesthetically pleasing but DOES NOT hold up well and they DO NOT stand behind their services. I took my mother here on Saturday, May 11, 2019 for our Mother's Day. We had seen a Groupon for the services we were interested in so I called and spoke to Beena about those services. She offered we come in without buying the Groupons and she'd honor the pricing, which she did. We asked for gel at and additional cost of $10 each. Not so bad. Unfortunately the quality of their work, while it looks nice, is poor. My mother got the DELUXE spa mani/pedi with gel on the mani but there was nothin deluxe about it. As well as that, her gel polish manicure began chipping the very next day. I got a full set of acrylics with gel and they looked great but by the following Monday - only two days later - more than half of them had just fallen off without any logical reason. I called on Monday and left a message explaining what had happened. By Wednesday morning I still had not heard back so I reached out via text and explained again only to be told that they do not guarantee acrylics. This is completely unacceptable as far as I'm concerned. I have been to numerous salons who have ALWAYS backed the services they provide by correcting any issues that arose in that kind of time frame. If you cannot back the services you provide, why should anyone believe those services are worth the cost. I could've taken my mother to our usual place and gotten better service (both in terms of quality and aftercare) and would have spent barely much more. We went here because we had heard good things and thought we'd be saving a little money since they'd honor the Groupon pricing but it ended up costing almost as much as it would have to have gone to our usual place (which, alongside many other salons, charges no more than $5 to add gel)! I'm extremely upset and unsatisfied with how they've chosen to respond to the poor quality service received. Beyond saying they do not back their services, Beena also chose to just not reply altogether when I expressed how unprofessional and upsetting that is. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES. read more

This place is great! We found it on Groupon because it was close to our house. Great place for a mani and pedi! The minute we walked in, we felt welcomed! All the nail polish and gels are displayed nicely and organized. Tammy did an amazing job on my pedicure. Attention to detail for sure! Even though her first client was late she still took her time with me. Beena was wonderful too! She's the sweetest and knows so much about the shop. Her gel manicure was one of the best I've ever had l. She made my short, bitten nails look like a million bucks! We'll definitely be coming back! Such a great shop and the best employees! You can tell everyone loves their job and their shop! read more

I went here for eyebrow threading and had the same person (Rosa) that Shin mentioned. I agree with Shin that she took her time and did a pretty nice job. As for the pricing, I too came with a $7 coupon. They actually had a sign up saying $7 and up for eyebrow threading and I was hoping they wouldn't even ask for the coupon but they did. I only went here once and I thought the experience wasn't that bad. It was actually one of the best eyebrow wax/threading I've had that I even recommended it to my mom. I'm actually considering going here again. I guess I'm surprised by the reviews that the others had. Hopefully I still have a positive experience next time... read more

I went in today for a body wrap I purchased through group on Purchased cause I heard infrared body wraps are good for muscle relaxation and rejuvenation It's intense , and you sweat buckets and buckets , like I stepped on the table and sweat was just pouring down my body Since it was my first time I wasn't prepared so well ( bring an extra towel and undies to change into) maybe even bring some baby wipes as you are drenched in sweat when you leave Beena was great I enjoyed the wrap read more

You definitely get your money's worth! They are sweet and it's a one stop shop. We got a body wrap off groupon, but they will offer the same price in person since groupon takes a huge percent. 3 wraps for $32 which is unheard of. The owner wrapped us up and was really sweet, checked on us and gave us water. I was scared to get nakee in front of her but she made us feel comfortable. Deluxe mani pedi for $25. One of the best I have ever had! Tammy scrubbed our legs and arms with sugar scrub, then put an oil treatment and a mud mask AND a parrafin wax! She massages so well, it seems like no one takes the time to scrub and massage well any more and she was incredible! So glad we found this place. read more

Came back for mani pedi with Tiffany. She's so sweet and very detailed! I always find something wrong after a mani pedi but not here~ They were so nice and offered me water/coffee upon arriving. I came here because they had a Groupon offer. I got a gel manicure and Tiffany, the nail tech, did a perfect job. She was meticulous and quick. I would totally come back here even though it's further out for me. No problems here! The only initial turn-off was in the beginning. I called and left a message for an appointment. The response was very curt and by text. I had to ask clarifying questions to make sure I was booked. I didn't have to wait for my appointment, which is great. read more

5 stars for Tiffany. From the time I walked in to the time I left, she was such a pleasure to be with for my nail appointment. She was very kind and gentle with everything. We also had good conversation. I would come here again just for her! Everything else was just average-- hence the 4 stars. The nail polish selection was underwhelming but had some good choices. The massage chair was not very relaxing. I tried changing the settings but did not find any of them very comfortable. And the tools/products for the mani/pedi seemed very used. I've tried multiple salons before and this one isn't one I would put in my top 3. But Tiffany's service was top notch so i would consider coming back. read more

The owner is terrible. I bought a Groupon for my mom for Mother's Day and she called me saying they wouldn't let her use it because she's used one before. I didn't know when I bought it for her that she's been there before. I even called the owner and said that the Groupon is in my name, not my moms. And if she could use my name instead since I won't ever go get a mani pedi (nails are too short), she said no, her girls won't do it. Well why in the world put your business up on Groupon if you workers don't like it and you won't honor them? She said get your money back from Groupon, give it to your mom so she can put it towards her manicure. No thanks, I wanted to gift my mom a treatment, not money where she would also have to pay a portion out of pocket. Never going here again and will warn others not to read more

Please heed the other reviews. I wanted to get my nails done so I looked on Groupon for a discount to go with my boyfriend. We saw a Groupon for a mani pedi for $28 and thought that was a pretty good deal. I called the place before I bought the Groupon to make sure there was availability and the owner said to just come in and show the Groupon price and pay her directly. Turns out this place doesn't exist and that they have moved and changed their name. Very confusing. Another customer mentioned it on the phone as well. I saw another review like this, but figured with the prices being so good, we should just try it out. As we arrived, they let us know there would be a $15 extra charge if I wanted gel. I asked about dip and she said it was the same as gel and that it was normally $40. Both my boyfriend and I understood that as they would do the same extra charge of $15 on top of the Groupon price (important for later). The place was empty and no music was playing. Two older women did our nails and took their time. They were very nice. Another women sat there the entire time, While the two women did our pedicures and then asked us to move to the chairs for our manicures. Over all the services took close to two hours. When it came time to pay, the owner said my total was $100.... $28 x 2 +$15 should have been $71. She ended up charging me full price for both my manicure and pedicure. I told her the reason we chose that salon was for the deal and reminded her of our verbal agreement and she completely denied everything saying I didn't get that service so I needed to pay full price. My boyfriend who still had messed up feet and no polish did get the deal. The bottom of his feet still looked horrendous and he was not happy with it. My manicure was okay, but I did like my pedicure. I told her that wasn't right and that is not what she said and she continued to deny it and said she told me it was $40 for the manicure and $25 for the pedicure. I asked if she would come to a compromise and she only took $8 off. I was already unsure about this place going in, and it truly was not worth it. We will honestly never be back. An utter disappointment. Would never recommend. read more

Terrible customer service. If you are thinking about getting a groupon from this place don't. She doesn't answer her phone calls. She isn't consistent thru her txting. I tried multiple times to schedule with her with no success. Don't waste your time here. I do not recommend this place. read more

DO NOT BUY THE GROUPON IT IS NOT WORTH IT. I made an appointment days in advance, and after receiving text messages saying they are running late and to come in later, they did not even see me at the later time they rescheduled me for. I waited an extra half hour at the salon only to run out of time and have to leave. I didn't get a chance to have my nails done, but they redeemed my Groupon when I walked in so they told me I would have to work with Groupon to get refunded. However Groupon does not give refunds on redeemed groupons, so I wasted my money. Also the lady I assume who owns the salon was extremely rude to her employees and to me. Moral of the story, don't buy the Groupon, no matter how cheap it is. read more

So I read all of the negative reviews while I was here and I expected a negative experience. I did wait but I did not have an appointment, although they recommend that you do. Tiffany did my pedicure and manicure, I had a Groupon and she honored it with gel for an extra $15. She was very sweet, very precise, and had a great conversation. I will be back because she was so nice and did a good job. I have had better experiences, but she made it worth it. read more

I came in for a Brazilian, just moved to the south Bay Area and looking for a place to get my Brazilians around here. Found this place on Groupon and figured it's worth a try, need to find a place to call home for my Brazilians. HUGE MISTAKE. Although the lady was sweet, she had absolutely no idea what she was doing. I would definitely call myself someone who is used to getting waxed down there and she left wax ALL over my downstairs area and didn't get the areas that make a Brazilian a Brazilian. She left me full of wax and patchy. Also in the middle of my wax she tells me that the lady who usually does the Brazilians is on vacation and shes never done it. Why make the appointment to begin with???? It was a nightmare. I wouldn't even go back to get my money back. I'm going through Groupon. I made a mani/pedi appointment for my mother and I at 4:30 today. We arrived at 4:35 and were greeted in a timely manner. We were seated in the spa chair at 4:45. At 5:00, another customer walked in and mentioned she had an appointment for gel nails. She was seated right away, and someone began working on her nails immediately. By 5:15 my mother and I were still sitting in our spa chairs with cold water touching our pruned up feet. Why bother making an appointment if we were going to be left unattended. I'm giving this review a three because TAMMY AND TIFFAY WERE AWESOME! They took their time and did an excellent job. I can't say the same about the owner, Beena. This place is a waste of money if you want professionalism. My nail technician was getting her own nails done when I came for my appointment. Then continued to go back and forth between my pedicure and hers. So as you could imagine, the appointment took way longer than necessary since I was continually waiting for her to return. They had deleted my voucher and gave me a business card to keep for my second free service, which would be the only reason I would return. Except of course I lost it - but once I found it a few months later, they refused to honor it even though the card has no expiration date! Which is honestly just as well for me, and perhaps for you too since it urged me to write this review. There are plenty of great nail places that are much cleaner with nice, professional staff, who ultimately do a better job. Give them your business, not this place. read more

Terrible service couldn't even continue to get my nails done bought a Groupon wouldn't even stay because that how terrible the quality nails are. Every single nail was a different size. And then before the acrylic was even on had me sit on the side while she start some one else's nails and then she'll come back to me so then all the nails continued to just fall off never come here they do not care if you'll like your nails or not. Deciding that I needed a gel manicure before my trip - I decided to get a Groupon deal with New Image. And both times - I came away, truly disappointed in myself for not knowing better and not trusting the reviews. On my first trip - the lady that was doing my nails, Tammy was rushing through it so much that my nails chipped within a day. And to add insult to injury - she had the audacity to eat up my full $10.00 as tip even though I asked for $5 dollars back. On my second trip - the owner of the spa wasn't any better as there was already a customer complaining that the gel manicure was peeling and my experience ended up being a 15-minute bitch-fest by the owner. Complaining that she doesn't want a customer like that and that she doesn't make money on Groupon deals anyways, etc, etc. As a previous entrepreneur - I understand that you won't always have every customer satisfied - but don't become so unprofessional where you complain about other customers in front of your customer. Quality of the gel manicure is poor and their customer service is even worst. Don't come unless your looking for a headache. read more

I bought my wife a groupon for this place and Wow! They did a great job. My wife loves her nails. She looked amazing for our anniversary.

I called and mentioned I was going to purchase a Groupon and the woman I spoke with told me to just buy the service from them directly so I did. I came in at 5pm and waited 5-10 mins for my hair dresser to come out to greet me, he asked how I wanted my hair and told him, he did a decent job but nothing I couldn't do myself. I felt like he was rushing as he had a other women under the hair dryer and was trying to juggle both of us. He stepped away for 10 mins. or so to help her which kinda irritated me, but what was I going to say, " finish my hair first!".
