I just clicked on Yelp. I have to be fair to Relax Day Spa. Sophie dose massage are very good and she never asks me for a tip in advance. She is a very serious and kind little girl. It is worth mentioning that she will wipe the massage oil very clean! I have been here for four years. The previous masseurs were really strong. Sophie and another masseuse are skinny both,and it is already really good to be able to do mid. I go almost once a week. I love the people and the decoration and the music there. It made me feel so relieved! This is a welcoming place! Furthermore, I have to tell you that if you don't like this place you can never come here, please don't write reviews here to slander them! The overall Massage was not good. The phone rang multiple times. She talked on phone twice which totally interrupted the massage mood. At one point she was half massaging me with one hand and holding and talking on phone. Massage over she flipped on light. Then I asked for receipt. Never got it cause she said they don't do receipts. Then she charges more cause I used credit card. After massage was over she asks how much are you tipping me. When I gave her amount she wasn't happy nor was I happy with her. I gave her card and she was going to charge a fee for my card and tried to hide the amount she was going to put on my card. So she got no tip. Won't ever go here again!!! read more

I just moved into the area and my boyfriend and I needed a couples massage to release the tension from all the moving and unpacking. They were very accommodating and helpful with time issues. They were courteous on the phone and even accommodated a time change and pushed the time back. We came in, got set up, laid face down and we waited for our massages. That's where the positive part of this spa experience ends. 1 - They didn't close the door to our massage room. The door was wide open. We literally heard every new customer walking in and out and chit chatting with the receptionist. I was drifting off to sleep at one point, then I snap back to attention when the receptionist laughs and chats with a new customer. 2 - My boyfriend's massage therapist kept leaving in the middle of our session to go to take care of each new customer!!? What is this?! I have been getting massages for years and this is new!? This happened at least three times! 3 - Before we came into the session they asked us to fill in a questionnaire specifically denoting where our areas were they wanted us to focus on. We did so. They asked specifically what level pressure we wanted. We both, having been getting massages for years, said firm. I'm sorry to report that what we got was a "light rubbing session". I do not get it. Why am I being lightly rubbed? I asked for a SPORTS MASSAGE??! Comparing notes with my boyfriend afterward, he said he has the same experience Ultimately we were both SO EMBARRASSED for *them* that we paid the full amount and added gratuity. I wanted to say something but the embarrassment level was so high, I just wanted T get out of there as quickly as possible. But we are never going back there ever again. read more

We got massages from Coco. When my fiancé was getting a massage the lady took his boxers off and didn't even cover him up. With both of us I'm not sure if the masseuse is suppose to just hop on the table but that occurred it was pretty weird. After that she demanded tip and after giving tip she demanded more which I think is pretty rude . Not really happy with that. Exactly what I was looking for - my wife and I needed massages; I'm a runner and she's a yogi, and we both left happy. You won't get terranea but you will get a great massage from a well-qualified masseuse who clearly knew her stuff, and that was a great value to us. We shared a room, separated by a curtain, which was great for us, but may not be suitable for other people so be sure to ask. I had the deep-tissue and my wife loved the reflexology. I called for a same day appointment for two people, and was delighted they were able to accommodate me. From the initial phone conversation, to the goodbye as we left, Cathy was polite, attentive, and a delightful person with whom to do business. Thank you. From a massage perspective, I chose a 3-in-1 massage (thai, swedish, and hot stone). Unlike some of the other reviews, I found my therapist, Narin, to be incredibly thorough. I had indicated the areas that needed the most work and she followed through! For the first time in weeks, I felt my back relax from it's board-like stiffness to a more flan-consistency. That's progress for this stress-ball woman. She spent little time on my feet, which I appreciated, as previously noted was not my problem area. My partner received a swedish massage, which he felt did the job. After walking out, he said he finally felt his lower back feel a little relief from its pain. That's been a long time coming. His only compliant was that he wished someone would have asked him his preference in massage. However, I blame myself (I'm rather forward) rather than the establishment for that oversight. This is an amazing massage spa I went earlier today to get a massage. I heard they are great! And also was excited about the special they have going on. It is $45 for first time costumers 1 hr full body massage . Kris is very good at what she does. She got rid of my knots and massage sore muscles . Waste of time I brought my mom here based on reviews... I'm not by any means comparing it to Burke Williams (which I do go to every month) but she clearly had no clue. By Swedish they mean I will press down with plans repeatedly and put ridiculous amounts of oil and make circles with my hands... THATS IT Hot stone? Warm stones that hit every bone in my spine. The BeST Massage since the last time my husband wanted something from me. :) I woke up and said to my husband, " I could really go for a massage right now." which he then replied back to me ," Not from me, you aint". So naturally, i looked up a massage spa. This one, along with others popped up close by. The 5 stars caught my attention, and after a phone call , the price of a Swedish massage did too. In two hours time i was walking in to get my rub down. The picture of the outside of building helps, as yelp lead me the opposite side down the road. THE MASSAGE : OH MY DEAR LORD AMAZZZzzzzinnnGGG This was an experience, something ive never known. I think she gave me a massage with a Thai spin on it ( going to Thailand in March so ill take any pre awareness as possible.) She starts out with pressure all over you... then puts her knees on back of your thighs as she is putting pressure on your back.. she does the "normal" kneading and massaging but she gets into places that make me feel like she knows me.. like she knows that the beginning of my aching body starts at this specific point... she goes outside the box from what other therapists have done and the standard idea of what a massage is. I literally felt like i was being worked on.. like my body was her job.. she got into places and stretched me and was one with my deep breaths allowing us both to get deeper in my muscles. Seriously, the BEST most detailed and most meaningful massage i have ever had in my life. I almost didnt want to write this as to not encourage people to go to my beloved spa :) But they deserve great reviews, as they are great. She asked for feedback often in terms of pressure and temperature. She expertly de-knotted my knots and at the end stretched my tight ligaments, making me feel relaxed and limber. The establishment was very clean, and everyone there was friendly, helpful, and professional to my needs. The only thing is that the massage was what it says--meant to relax more than to relieve stress. I decided to try this place due to the reviews on Yelp. I opted for a one hour combo massage and deep cleansing facial. I'm not sure if I should post two different reviews because the experience was different for both. 1. Massage~ awesome!! Narin was super sweet, and really got in there on my knots. Climbed all over me, kneading and pushing. It did hurt, but in a good way! She could have easily just said she didn't want to hurt me and half assed it...but she did not. She kept asking if it was alright, and was very attentive to my feelings. If you are looking for an intense massage look no further than Narin! 2. Facial- disaster. For the cleansing they use a CONAIR electric facial scrubber! I did not hear the attachment put on, and I looked when I was getting dressed (I had a feeling) and it was still attached! There were Loreal products on the table, and she used a cloth mask that came out of a packet like from Sally Beauty Supply. She did use a steamer but that was the only thing that made it even close to a real facial. 60 dollars!!! Such a rip off. Needless to say it is a week later and I have 3 different cystic acne pimples like I have not had in over 10 years thanks to that "facial". DONT DO IT PEOPLE. So to summarize, massage is good. I just had a massage with Narin. It was by far the best massage I've ever had. My entire body was so tight and she loosened every knot. Just a few minutes in, I knew I was going to need more time.
