I tried giving this place three chances. Unfortunately Jen is just not professional whatsoever. She canceled my hair appointment the day of saying she previously had a wedding booked. This is not ethical to me. She then left a voicemail apologizing and said she would give $5 off the next service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have messaged 3 times to reschedule and she just leaves me on read.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So I would not bother coming here or reaching out to Jen. She just chooses not to answer and is incredibly unprofessional. I definitely will not be a client of hers and I will not be recommending this place to any of my friends or family. I talked to Jen about a month ago about doing hair and makeup for my graduation. I was a little worried it wouldn't work out because my graduation was in the morning and Dolled Up opens at 9am! Luckily Jen said she was down to open early to work on me, and she said to come at 6am! I'm so appreciative of Jen for coming in so early to work on me and for listening to my preferences in doing my hair and makeup. I was looking for a lighter makeup look and simple waves for my hair and she delivered on both parts! She even reassured me about doing makeup on Asian eyes, which turned out great as you can see! My family and friends kept complimenting me on my makeup and hair, and I had to give the credit to Jen for helping me look as good as I did for my Master's graduation! Hey all! I am new to waxing and found Dolled Up on Groupon and saw tons of absolutely incredible reviews. I got really excited and purchased the Groupon for a Brazilian wax+underarm and then tried to call to book an appointment. They must be very busy and prefer to email or make an appointment online! [[HIGHLIGHT]]So I emailed to try to get ahold of someone. Part of their booking link to their website is a dead site (gobooker).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]So I tried to book through another link (Vagaro) on their website but they have the names of the Brazilian/bikini waxing services as "the Megan fox" or "the queen bee" or "the Vanessa Bryant " and I didn't know what the standard Brazilian was called since on the actual website & on Groupon it's just called a Brazilian.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wanted to ask which one to book for the Groupon I have already purchased so I tried calling and sending a follow up email. Hidden gem in the South Bay! I know it's easier to just run to the chain blow dry bar but that experience is so conveyor belt like the whole get in get out with no to little guest connection BUT that's not the experience you get here. She's got it all together styling her new place in downtown Rudondo cute new place and all new look and merchandise and she did my hair and make up for my goddaughter's wedding. Is there a way to give this place zero stars? I have no idea how they have gotten such a good rating... I booked my first appointment through the website for an eyebrow waxing with Jenn. Based on the reviews I thought it wasn't too risky. I've had a few good waxing places that have been my go to but Covid has shut them down. So I show up for my appointment yesterday and the place is closed. I call the phone number and a lady answers and has some excuse and that I was called and they left a message. I had no calls or missed messages. This should have been a warning for me but I decided to try again and booked another appointment for today with Jenn. I show up and Jenn is at the front counter and checks me in then takes me back to do my eyebrows. She didn't even know she was doing my eyebrows and asked me to get undressed thinking I'm there for a Brazilians. We clear this up and then while she's telling me about her upcoming vacation she just starts waxing. It was really fast and I was caught off guard. I hate when this happens because I always regret not saying something! I'm a first time customer and she didn't ask me any questions like how do I want my brows to look. The whole time I was just hoping they wouldn't be too thin. Well I should have also hoped she wouldn't chop one off because that is what happened. Five minutes later and she was done, left the room and had me come out to pay. No mirror to take a look or see if I wanted any adjustments. I rushed out to go pay and get out of there because I wanted to avoid an uncomfortable situation. So please consider that I paid $40 (way more than my usual spots) to warn you about this place. Don't go.... Jenn fully chopped off the top of my left brow and didn't even clean up under my right brow. You can even see the shadow where the top of my eyebrow arch used to be. read more

I booked an updo here for a wedding I attended as I am hopeless at doing anything creative with my hair. Tiny did my hair and while I think she may have been a little new at doing updos, she couldn't have been sweeter or more attentive. I showed her some pictures of messy/relaxed braid + bun updos and she delivered. Also, whatever spray she used (texture? hairspray?) smelled divine and several people asked if it was my perfume! I am obsessed with this place not only can I get waxed here but I get my hair blown out for $40 dollars!!! It's a one stop shop because they also do makeup. So I came in to get a blowout and makeup for my bridal shower and I was so satisfied with how Carla did my makeup. I've gone to Sephora and Mac and it's always very heavy I normally don't wear makeup so I needed something very natural and carla literally made my skin look like glass.
