Immediately walking into her shop, she already welcomed me by my name and with a smile. Already a great start :) And during the whole appointment, we had a great talk and she even checked in with me if I was okay. I can tell that she wanted to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. The fact that she even brought out the tweezers to do some small cleanups just goes to show her attention to detail and her efforts to make sure the end product was good before the appointment was over. Early the next morning, I realized I had training at work and couldn't make it. I texted and said I needed to reschedule. OMG! I was inundated with calls and text messages saying I owed $25 for not giving 24 hours notice for cancellation. Hold the phone. I made the reservation less than 24 hours ago and I'm NOT your client. So you're saying, I owe $25 if I cancel for ANY reason because of the time I MADE the appointment?!!! I spoke the receptionist and went round and round. Bottom line, my waxer is injured, her colleague is putting the screws on me and I will go somewhere else to get my coochie waxed. TF? I'm responding to your response, If I made my appointment less than 24 hours before your cancellation time frame, then I'm screwed if anything comes up, correct? Michelle, this is ridiculous. She's always super friendly and actually remembers me, which I really appreciate. I get my eyebrows and upper lip done for $14. They have a board with all the prices clearly displayed, which is nice and straightforward. It's affordable and the results are consistently good. The place is almost always busy, which makes sense because they do solid threading plus facials and waxing too. You'll see moms with their daughters, couples getting services, and people chatting with Fami like they've known her for years. It has a really nice, friendly family vibe. Quick tip: they're closed on Mondays. I didn't realize that one time and "cheated" on Fami by going somewhere else. That place left my brows way too thin and short, not how I like them at all. Fami was able to help shape them back the way I prefer, which I was really grateful for. Fami does a great job and I always leave happy.
