Today I had an appointment at Dolled Up for my first ever spray tan. However yesterday, like an idiot I got a bad sunburn. I arrived and told the owner Jen about my burn. She had not one, but two spray tan experts look at my skin to give me a recommendation. They told me if it was them they wouldn't spray on top of a burn and gave me their reasoning (peeling, spotty tan). They also told me what I should buy Sephora for DIY spray tan after I peel. I so appreciated their honesty and not trying to just make a quick buck on a novice spray tanner like myself. A rarity for sure! This is a great business and I hope they last a long time! read more

I received a beautiful blowout from Tini last month. I had to attend a friend's viewing in the morning and a Sweet 16 in the afternoon and was pressed for time. Tini was able to accommodate me last minute and worked around my schedule. She was welcoming and easy to talk to. My blowout and waves lasted all day/night. 10/10, thank you Tini! I found Dolled Up as I was eating at Rascal's one day and thought I'd look into them for my maternity shoot. I looked up other blow dry bars in the area but this one stuck out to me as the best in price, so I decided to schedule an appointment with them online. It was very easy. No deposit was needed. So I went at my appointment time and was helped right away. The girls were so nice and they did a great job on my hair and make up. So happy I came here ! I purchased a Groupon deal & decided to walk in , luckily for me Jennifer was available and took me in right away. Front staff was awesome and Jennifer was amazing ! She's so open and make you feel comfortable. During the process she was talking to me & I felt as if I've known forever lol. But the process of the Brazilian wax was not bad at all! This company charged me for a no show but I didn't even know I had a scheduled appointment. The last appointment I rescheduled because I wasn't in town. This appointment, I honestly didn't even get a phone call the day before. That's the only way I remember these appointments because they DO THAT EVERY SINGLE TIME. So when I see this $55 charge hit my account, I'm confused! It's my primary bank account which makes it worst. I called the receptionist and she pretends she believes I didn't get a phone call and says the boss will call me back when she can. Excuse me??? You take money out of my account wrongly and she will talk to me when she can? Not only am I filing a dispute with the bank, I'm contacting BBB. I'm well aware of the no show policy. It includes calling the customer and giving her 24 hours to cancel or reschedule (BECAUSE IVE DONE IT BEFORE!) it sucks because I liked this place but definitely felt like they are trying to trap me into a fee Edit: read your comment. again with the lies. We confirmed over the phone that you don't even have my email! She looked in the system and said "oh, actually we don't have your email here". So who are you calling and sending emails to? This adorable salon has the nicest employees and staff ever!! I just had a blow out and got a Brazilian wax and both were great. The waxing room is very clean and makes you feel comfortable. Absolutely love this blowout hair studio!! The service is great, stylists are friendly, and the studio itself is chic and clean with an amazing silver glitter wall for post-styling selfies! I used to go to another blowout place that is a lot more well known, but never will I make that drove all the way down to El Segundo anymore. The prices here are much more reasonable and the resulting hair is so much better!! The girls here know how to make a client 100% satisfied with their hair.
