This location is busy! Reservations recommended! I stopped in for a meal during Happy Hour! They have some great food and drink options! Staff is attentive and friendly! I had the petite steak frites. It's a perfect small portion of fries with nicely done steak, with a horseradish mayo.

Saturday night. We embarked on Bloor St to experience the culinary spectacle that is "Earls Yorkville." Upon arrival, the line-up already snaked out the door, filled with hungry customers eager to be seated and start the party. We were placed in the dining area near the kitchen, which turned out to be quite the show. The vibe? Fantastic. The contemporary interior is adorned with lots of great art on the walls. Well done, Earls, for supporting local artists. The lighting is low and moody--great for energy conservation but challenging for reading the super small type on the menu. Bring a magnifying glass or a young friend with excellent eyesight. Earls is well-organized, with staff buzzing around the restaurant like a contemporary dance troupe. A happening place for sure. Their motto is "eat a little, eat a lot." I think we landed somewhere in between for this evening. Our gracious host, Olivia, took our order and kindly split the plate for us since our party of two was sharing everything--except the bill, lol. Our first plate was the Bigger Better Burger, complete with tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles, mayo, and mustard on a brioche bun. We upgraded the dish to include their famous Truffle Fries. Oh, heavenly Truffle Fries! I could smell that aroma all day long. Perfectly paired with a chilled glass of West Avenue Cider House Heritage Dry. Next up was the Truffle Tortellini, featuring truffle cream, ricotta, spinach, seasonal vegetables, and Grana Padano cheese. Even as a split dish, it felt big. The portion was generous, and the taste was full and satisfying. This dish was perfectly complemented by an Australian Sauvignon Blanc. Overall, we were thrilled with everything, especially Olivia. She's a superstar, making sure everything was done right. Will we come back? In a heartbeat. Earls Yorkville: where the lights are dim, but the flavors are bright.

The steak tacos were delicious, on the pricy side. Medium and rare steak done properly, so it's rare in tacos. The beer on tap were good too. Medium to high end regarding the setting so get your wallet ready

***3.5 stars*** Attended a post-wedding brunch here recently. Nothing to write home about, but I thought that the staff was accommodating and made their best effort to seat the 12 of us together. The atmosphere is nice and new. Big menu and pretty plating. Taste-wise, my dish was just okay. I ordered the Sesame Citrus Noodle Bowl with Ahi Tuna. It was a nice light meal but again nothing mind-blowingly good. Good portions, but for $30 I would expect as much.

Our office used to take us all out for our Christmas lunches, but this year our food was ordered via Door Dash from Earls Yorkville. Being a spice loving man, I had to think twice as I chose the Santa Fe Chicken Salad (described as grilled Cajun chicken, charred corn, dates, avocado, crumbled feta, black beans, peanut lime vinaigrette). The first thing I noticed was how good the salad looked and how obviously fresh the ingredients were. The grilled Cajun chicken was cooked to perfection with a zesty powder sprinkled on top of it. The black beans and avocado complimented the dates and charred corn very well. The crumbled feta added an extra burst of flavour as everything came together in my mouth. Overall, it was a delightful culinary experience. Other dishes that were ordered by my work colleagues included the Angry Chicken Lettuce Wraps (chili lemongrass sauce, crispy chicken, shredded carrot + cucumber, puffed rice cracker, butter lettuce), Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl (fresh mango, avocado, sesame seaweed salad, cucumber, macadamia nuts, seasoned sushi rice, dashi mayo), and Ahi Tuna Tataki (pickled shimeji mushrooms, yuzu broth, avocado purée). Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed their meals! I give my meal an overall rating of four stars out of five. I removed one star because of the price. I know there is excessive cost of living crisis going on and prices of most things have skyrocketed, but how can anyone justify charging $27.75 (before taxes and other gratuities) for a chicken salad? Had a great girls night at Earl's Yorkville. This Earl's location replaced the now closed Bloor Street diner which was on the level below the Cineplex in the Manylife Centre at Bay/Bloor. Do note that this resto / bar gets very busy on weekends and Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. So make a reservation if you are going at that time. A girlfriend and I stopped in after a movie and did make a reservation (and were glad we did so, as quite a few walk ins were turned away at the door (due to a more than 45 minute wait). Wonderful cocktails and great apps as well as a good variety in the mains. Many sushi inspired options. Prices are in line with Yorkville area. (So slightly higher than other places in the downtown area). We shared the Chicken Lettuce wrap appetizers. Then I had the Tuna Tataki as my main and my friend had the ribs. Food was great. Service was friendly and attentive. Close to the Bay subway stop. There is also parking under the Manulife Centre for those driving.

This is a relatively new location of earls inside the Manulife center. There's a lot of seating, the vibe is nice, and they take reservations. I came here for brunch on the weekend and my experience was pleasant. The service was good, the food came out fast, and it tasted decent. The portions were good too. There's usually specials during certain times (happy hour, etc), so I'd recommend to go during those times if you can to get a better deal. The food was a bit on the greasier side, but it was okay. Overall, nothing exceptional but a decent meal with a nice vibe.

Steak and sushi
Jessica M.

I came here on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch with my work colleagues. I can't speak for what my team ordered, but I can about mine, which consisted of: - Steak and sushi (9 oz sirloin): For $42, this was mediocre and I expected so much more for that price. The sushi had a weird rice paper wrap around each piece which was far from traditional. I think it may have been there to prevent the rice from falling apart (meaning they probably knew it wasn't good sushi rice). Furthermore, the tempura shrimp on top was placed on the cut side of each sushi piece (?) rather than on the side... again probably to prevent it from falling off, because obviously it can't stick to the rice paper wrap. Then, the steak was dry and tough, and swimming in a ginger sauce that really did not need to be there. Overall it tasted fine but I think if there's a next time I should go for more typical American dishes. 5/10 - Truffle fries: No complaints on this one. Came with a great truffle garlic aioli. Flavour bomb. 10/10 - Glass of champagne: Tasted fine, not sure which bottle this one was. 8/10 Overall, very overpriced for casual dining. However, the location and ambiance was awesome and very upscale vibe, located in the Manulife center. Service was also great so if you're feeling like splurging on chain dining, definitely come to this location.

I'm a fan of Earls and so glad this location opened up inside Manulife Center. Love the interior decor with cozy booths. Didn't have to wait too long on a wed at 9:30 pm. We tried the hot wings, Caesar salad and the festive dessert. The Caesar salad was really nicely done so fresh. The wings were perfect. Loved the cocktail list. Will definitely come back again. Overall fantastic addition to the area.

Lovely experience here! Came for dinner for a private event where there was a prefixed menu for our organization. The location is buzzing with a cool atmosphere, people chatting and nicely dimmed lights with beautiful furniture. We were sat near the window where you had floor to ceiling views of Yorkville. The food was absolutely amazing, had the Crispy Prawn Roll, Truffle Tortellini and the Cheesecake, all tasted amazing. Our server Katerina was so knowledgeable and kind. Will definitely returned loved the atmosphere!

Ambiance: Stunning from the moment you walk in. Despite the soaring ceilings and two-level layout, the space still feels intimate thanks to the dim, romantic lighting. Tables line the perimeter and upper level, while small trees with twinkling lights frame the booths, adding a whimsical, almost magical touch. A window displaying the cuts of steak was a fun and enticing detail. Appetizers & Mains: Every bite impressed. The seafood atop each piece of nigiri was incredibly fresh and buttery, literally melting in your mouth. The lobster mashed potatoes were an indulgent and unforgettable accompaniment to the perfectly tender steaks, which were thoughtfully presented tableside before cooking. Dessert: We saved room (and I'm so glad we did!) My cheesecake arrived beautifully plated with a candle and birthday message, while my boyfriend enjoyed the butter cake. He was attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in ensuring each moment felt intentional and unique. He also shared enticing reasons to return for lunch, happy hour, and weekend brunch (options we had no idea the restaurant offered).
