The food was so good. Perfectly cooked burgers and the tuna poke bowl was excellent. I'm gluten free so I liked how clear the menu was about allergens. My only suggestion is offering a gluten free dessert! Jeremy our server, was really a gold star. We had seven people coming at different times He got everyone drinks and food as they arrived and was so attentive. It was a busy night and he was not frazzled in the least. The host and hostess, the bar tender and Jeremy were on their A game. We loved that it wasn't so loud and we could all hear each other talk. It made our time together enjoyable and relaxing. Haven't been here in years so came in to check out happy hour with some mommy friends! We got: Sushi taco :: at $4/taco this was small Kale/mushroom pizza :: $15 though good size and pretty creamy without pushing me into indigestion Crab cake :: $18 for one and it was mixed with lentils/corn so they weren't full crab Truffle fries :: $6 though small Angry chicken lettuce wraps :: chicken pieces were small but tasty Moscow mule was good and strong! Happy hour food pricing isn't the greatest and portions were smaller. The vibe was good and the open windows let us be "outside" without being outside! read more

Super fancy place to eat; came here with some friends to catch up on a Sunday mid-day. Luckily the place wasn't super full since two of our friends have a newborn (who wasn't terrible, but made a short fuss at some point and also took up a lot of space with the stroller). We had a reservation for 1pm and some of the party didn't arrive until closer to 1:30. When we ordered, the server let us order off the brunch menu (ends at 3), and then let some people wait until 2p to order the happy hour menu (starts at 2). The food was plentiful; I definitely ordered too much and had to take it home to finish later. I got the calamari (tasted more or less like what I wanted, so yay) and the half rib/half chicken plate. The chicken was amazing! The ribs were fine. I really liked the slaw that came along with it as well. Food is a little pricey, so more of a sometimes-place and more of a prefer-happy-hour place, maybe. read more

We went to Earls for my best friend's 30th and I had the best guacamole (vegan) I've ever had - no joke. I ordered two servings of it because it was seriously that good. I enjoy guacamole, but it's never been my absolute favorite. But Earls vegan guac? I could absolutely smash a bowl of it (and did). The place was super cute too. A little loud - but a bar on a weekend? That's not super surprising. Our waitress was very sweet and overall it was a great experience. It's definitely a bit outside my personal price range, but for a special event it was worth it! read more

We mainly come here for happy hour. We wish Leroy's Crispy Ribs were still on the HH menu. We were in Canada recently and they were on their HH menu. Wonder why they took it off for the Bellevue location. HH prices have gone up and the options are fewer now. But it's a good spot for a bite after work and a drink. The ambience of the restaurant is always good. During warm days, they open the windows. Service can sometimes be slow. This seems to be a result of the pandemic. They never seemed to get back up to the staffing level they used to be. We try to be patient with the staff as they always seem to be responsible for many tables. read more

My husband and I went here last weekend for a little date night. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and fast. My poke bowl had good flavor but had a lot of rice maybe not enough fish, it could have used some additional sauce on top as well. The truffle tortellini was good, but again, not anything outstanding. My husband however LOVED the pork chop. He said it was the best he had ever had. We split the creme brûlée cheesecake and pecan pie for dessert. Again both were good, but nothing I would be running back to eat again. Overall a good meal with a fun lively atmosphere! read more

We went for tasting baby back ribs which was suggested by our friends and yelp reviews . Unfortunately they have stopped it. Then we asked for another dish and they said that is also not there. Then we ordered steak. The quantity is very less when compared to the price. Taste was good. Ambiance is great. But overall I don't find it worth for the money. Food is costly here. read more

Came in on a Saturday around 1PM. Interior of Earl's is quite nice. Hostess is at the front and leads you to your table. Service is relatively fast. Had a waiter attend to us pretty much as soon as we sat down. The Iced Irish Coffee was DELICIOUS. I loved my drink. It was creamy and yummy! The buffalo cauliflower was okay. It was not as crunchy/crispy as I expected. Steamed cauliflower in buffalo sauce so was more on the mushier side. The flavor was there, but I've had better. For lunch, I had the Southwest Chicken Salad. It was quite good and was a pretty decent size. I tried my friend's tortellini and it was delicious as well. The truffle flavor is quite strong. Tried the crab cake Benedict as well and it was good, but personally the crab flavor was a bit overwhelming for me. Earl's food and service is decent, but not sure if it worth the price. read more

Came here for brunch on a whim and was blown away. Service was efficient (our server had 4 tables in the first 5 minutes of the restaurant opening and handled all equally well..yes, I'm nosy). I love the ambiance..lots of wood and natural plants. The brunch menu has a happy hour option before 12pm, so we selected from there. It's still pricy but it's not 2025-pricy. The food was AMAZING. Razor thin potato slices stacked and fried, crab cake Benedict and smoked bacon with fresh greens. Oh..my goodness. I've been getting bored by American breakfast but this woke me right up ! Decent enough bar and grill with a reasonably priced happy hour menu and later hours than some of the surrounding options. The pizzas, burgers and fries are good, but I probably wouldn't pay more than happy hour prices for any of them. Same for some of the beer and cocktail options. The service is good, though the bar's identity is a bit of a mixed bag. It kind of feels like Earls is unsure if it's trying to cater to the younger nightclub crowd, the lonely businessman, or the lounge lizard variety of customer. Still, considering how many places in Bellevue roll up the welcome mat at a surprisingly early hour, it's not a half-bad place to find yourself with friends. read more

We visited Earls Kitchen & Bar on a Saturday night. We did not have reservations, so we sat at the bar. Earls has a nice, modern interior. Service at the bar was spotty but friendly. They did a good job taking our initial order, but was slow to take our food order and it took a while to get our food. I just had a glass of red wine, but my friends had Aperol Spritz and an Old Fashioned. They were both really good. They have a very wide menu with a lot of seafood choices (but also pizza and steak). For an appetizer, we had the Angry Chicken lettuce wraps. The chicken did have a little bit to it, but these were pretty good. For the main course, I had the crab cakes. The cakes tasted good, but for the price were lacking much crab. One of my friends had the ahi tuna poke salad. She really enjoyed that. read more

A nice spot right in the heart of downtown. It was pretty popping even on a weeknight. The menu was a bit smaller than other restaurants this size, though the options were sufficient for most taste buds. The appetizers were good and the main dishes were fairly sized for the higher end price. Service was spot on and server came back to check in frequently. The bar itself was lively the whole time we dined, and this place can fill up quickly so if you have a larger party, ensure you make a reservation just in case so you don't have an extended wait. Back for a birthday brunch! Earls food and drinks are hard to beat! We had the eggs Benedict and the fried chicken and waffles. Both were delicious: Benedict on toast was seasoned well and the waffle was a crispy sweet one balancing the crispy savory chicken. We also had mimosas and an espresso martini. I've been to Earls many times though the years but I started actually liking them fairly recently after discovering a couple or really yummy dishes and a VERY tasty drink which is now a favorite of mine (Passion Fruit Spicy Margarita). Their happy hour is pretty good and the service is almost always very prompt. Sometimes it can be hard to find a table but that's any place in Bellevue really. Finally got around to trying this play. I originally saw an Easter buffet advertised so I made reservations, however, a few days later I could no longer find the flyer but still decided to make the trip. I started with the crab cake. Very fresh and flavorful. Not your usually crab cake. More of a crab with veggie type blend. I think there were capers, onions... not bad but prefer more bread crumbs for a true cake. Once you cut into this with a fork it fell apart. $25 Next, salmon zen bowl. Very good. Wish there was a teriyaki sauce to drizzle on top. Lots of good flavor didn't finish It all because I wanted to take the rest home to enjoy with some sauce. Otherwise It was kind of dry but still delicious. $25 (half salmon) White chocolate crème brûlée, the star of the show. It was a large serving and i ate the whole thing with no shame. $13 It was Easter Sunday but not overly busy. My server disappeared for about 20 minutes while I waited for my receipt. read more

Came here for dinner on a Friday night and I was so impressed by the seating service. Staff was really flexible when we asked to be seated by a booth, then by the fireplace, and finally made a decision to sit by the open window seats. If you come here with 2 people, I highly recommend sitting in the velvety chairs by the window. It's so peaceful and fun. Food wise, we ordered off the happy hour menu. We were so so so sad to see that the Earle's burger was taken off the happy hour menu. :( We ordered chicken lettuce wraps which weren't that filling but it was light and refreshing. The chicken had a zest to it which was great. We also ordered a side of truffle fires, however it came out really cold. It took us 15-20 minutes to get the attention of our waitress in order to get new fries. They were obviously very busy but checking in on us now and then would've been nice. We were still hungry after that so we ordered the Margherita pizza which was standard, nothing special. The curst tasted really good though, like buttery naan. I came here with 7 of my coworkers for a Thursday dinner without a reservation since it was a last-minute plan. We had to wait around 20 minutes, which is completely understandable because we didn't have a reservation and it was a bigger group. The interior of the restaurant is very cute, and I was surprised at how big it felt. The service here is amazing. Our server was Ryan, and he was sooo patient with our big group and gave us recommendations. Literally the best server I've had here! For some reason, they didn't have any steak the day I went, but it wasn't a big deal since nobody in my group was planning on ordering steak. I got the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl, and it was good! They have an Ahi Tuna Poke Salad and an Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. The salad has a salad base and the bowl has a rice base. It obviously doesn't taste like the poke bowls you would get at a poke restaurant, but this is one of the better poke bowls I've had at restaurants like this. I was pretty full, but it might be smaller portion for those who are looking for a bigger and heavier meal. Overall, it was pretty decent food but the service was so so great! :) read more

More people kept coming in, At one point the bartender asked the barista if he could help her, though he wasn't trained. Seems unorganized and coffee was mediocre at best. If you want a cocktail you'd be in the right place, but a cafe this place is not.

I insisted as my other drinks we had taste better having more carbonated spark and sweet juicy flavors. They remade it using the same bottle of soda and it was just as flat and bland the second time so I just tossed the drink and sipped on my families drinks that tasted amazing. Idk if i would recommend this location as it seems to be so hit or miss. Maybe just make sure they use fresh soda and also that they give you all the mentioned flavors. It doesn't even have to be on tap but even can/bottle options. Their liquor selection is excellent (especially bourbon!) and it seemed like they offer decent wines too. I don't know much about wine though. As far as I know, you do not need to be a member of Bellevue Club to dine here. No words are not able to discribe the dissaster that we had to experience this evening. We reserved a private room for twenty two weeks ago and were aproved with the condition of eaving a 20% tip (which we didnt mind, knowing that it was a going to be a birthday celebration and deserved a special treatment) Once we arrived, we presenced the worst type of disrespect when we were told that because of someone's mistake pur private table was not avalible and we endes up waiting around an hour while standing. Once we got our table, we decided not to waste time and ordered right away, but to our shock it took almost two full hours in order to get our food, that wasnt only lacking taste, but the usual good serving someone would expect from a "respected restaurant" as such claims to self recognise as... Our hopes were raised once we saw a waitress arriving with a cake and placing it in front of the birthday girl, however, the wrong name was written on top of the cake. We figured that it was a humble mistake, but what we had coming NOBODY would have ever expected it. The manager came to us and said that there was a mistake and that WE had to now pay for the cake. Without our concent we were all charged extra in our bills. This was by a lot, the worst experience ever and I auggest anybody reading this to not come to this so called "resturant" to never come here. read more

I looooove the entire staff here!!!! I live in Bellevue and am probably the most critical perfectionist there is. I worked in the service industry in the past and have very high expectations. I like the food, the ambiance, the cleanliness and the drinks but what keeps me coming back is the excellent customer service I receive 100% of the time. The bartenders are especially friendly and welcoming. They're always smiling and laughing. Shout out to Shaunice, Jesse, Miguel, Spencer, Sam and her amazing Sam Shots, Chris, Blake, Drake, Doug. Shout out to the bar-backs too - Dale, JR, Riley and Mark and of course a huge shout out to the servers Erica, JT, Nadja and Tori! Zach, Alyssa & Maddy you too!!!! I am always quickly greeted with bubbly personalities, smiles and even hugs when I come in. Earls at this point has become my home away from home :) I am constantly impressed with their level of professionalism when dealing with customers. Especially the difficult customers. I dined at Earls in Bellevue today with a friend, and I have to say, it was quite a letdown. When we arrived, we asked to be seated at a table in the bar area. The host mentioned she needed to check something and then vanished for about 10 minutes. After her return, she seated several other walk-in guests while we continued to wait. I asked for an update after another 10 minutes, only to receive an eye roll and a vague promise to check again. Frustrated, we decided to grab seats at the bar top since it was open. After waiting an additional 20 minutes for a server to take our order--despite the restaurant being mostly empty--we finally placed our order. Throughout our visit, it seemed that the staff and management didn't care about the guest experience; they were giggling about personal matters and not taking their job seriously. When our tacos finally arrived, it took about 30 minutes, and unfortunately, they were cold. To top it off, I found hair in my food. This experience was really disappointing, especially since this used to be one of my favorite spots. I truly hope this was just a one-off situation, but it'll be a while before I consider returning. read more

Where do I start? Absolutely love the food. The cajun chicken keeps me coming back, the service makes me think about it twice. I know it is a newer restaurant, but I haven't seen a great deal of improvement. I've eaten there 10-12 times since they opened. A few months ago, we had a party of 6. We called ahead. We got there, and they were pretty busy. We were visiting in the little lobby and periodically asked when our table would be ready. at 30 minutes, (they initially said 30 when we called), they told us 15 more minutes. This went on for another 45 minutes! They had NO CLUE when tables would be open. We were idiots to wait for 1:15 before looking elsewhere. We ended up at the parlor and got seated immediately. I was really disappointed with how they handled the seating. They had 3-4 bubbleheads (guys and gilrs) up front who were utterly clueless. One queen bee who acted like she knew what was going on, but failing miserably. Did I mention the chicken? Cool atmosphere, great food. Horrible service. The sad thing is, this is the easiest thing to fix. I think I like this menu better than Joey's, but Joey's is managed properly. read more

I'm not a huge fan of the food selection or staff. But my wife seems to enjoy this place. Never fails when I ask where do you want to go for dinner? Earls she says! I feel that the staff is a bit snotty and unprofessional. A lot of bickerring at the front and confusion. Our last visit left a bad taste in my mouth. By the time we were able to get a table it was over for me. They made us bounce around tables! Okay now that wasn't cool, especially when you have hungry pregnant wife with you. The first time I understood, second not sitting well with me. I wanted to leave immediately. After 20 minutes of waiting for our server to take our order, the food was served cold and half of our table had to wait five to ten minutes before receiving their food. Thank god our friends enjoyed the food and drinks. The upside is, they have sports playing in the bar. I was able to hear everything. Great atmosphere, clean, modern and updated. My wife loves one of their dishes hence why we keep coming back. It's the Indian curry... I would give them a chance. Positive: great location, amazing food! Negative: the service was beyond awful. One of the worst dining experience we've ever had. We were seated before 2 other couples. It took about 15 mins before a waitress even come and greet us and bring us water. Then she disappeared for another 15 minutes. I tried waving other waitresses to no avail. By the time our waitress found our table, the other 2 couples already have their appetizers and drinks. Food comes out pretty quick. The only reason they have 3 stars is that their food was amazing. I ordered the half-n-half. It has the half rack of ribs, half of the chicken breast, with white rice and brocollini. The ribs were great. The meat falls off the bone with no effort at all. The chicken was fantastic. Wife ordered the grilled salmon. She loved it. We were thinking at this point, thank the lord that their food was good. Again it took about 10 mins to find our waitress to get a refill on our drinks. Probably a fluke. I'll update my review once we try coming here next. read more

I am the last person to complain about bad service because I understand people get busy and overwhelmed but I have never had service like I had at earls. Our Server seemed like we were inconveniencing her by ordering anything in the first place and after being there over an hour we had been served one drink and still not seen a food menu which we had asked for multiple times. Once she finally took our food order(which we waited another hour for) she asked us twice if we wanted another round of drinks and then just never brought them. Now mind you she was giving drinks to all the other tables full of young men but her serving my friends and I was apparently not on her list of things to do that night. This is the first bad review I have ever taken the time to write but with how much the food and drinks cost here(which are delicious by the way) you would think the service would be at least decent. Don't waste your time and money try literally anywhere else. read more

Normally we have great times here. I made a reservation for my boyfriends birthday and the service was awful. It took 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge our two person table when the entire restaurant had two tables in the bar. Servers were nowhere to be found and the host that sat us disappeared. Every once in a while we'd see a bartender but couldn't get to them quick enough before they left to the back to mention we hadn't been served yet. I worked in the service industry for years and unfortunately I could tell it was a case of very poor communication, and dilly-dallying around. We were tempted to get up and leave but decided to wait a few more minutes to finally be served 20 minutes later. It shouldn't take 30 minutes to get drinks on the table (especially on your birthday). We hope next time we visit we don't have an experience like this! We love Earl's but this really bummed us out. read more

Stopped in here one day and was sorely disappointed in the service from all staff except the busser. We sat at the bar and the bartender (young attractive blonde girl) was pleasant but she took forever to make drinks and order our food. It seemed like she couldn't keep her attention span and just kept getting distracted by shiny things. The busser came by to clear our dishes and we ended up chatting with him. I forgot his name but he had just moved to Seattle from Vancouver BC. The restaurant was fairly empty so I'm not sure why the manager (tall dark haired young woman with resting bitch face) came over and told him to stop talking to the customers... I'm sorry isn't that part of good customer service???? I hope the busser found a better job. I would only return to chat with him again but the managers don't seem to like that so this place is a no go from now on. read more

First time trying Earls it's one of the best restaurants in Bellevue at the moment - in my opinion. We were seated promptly however, it did take a little longer than expected to get helped by a server, so keep that in mind when coming to Earls. Our server Jagger, was very informative and helpful when it came to recommending items he was also very assertive and accommodating. The food was above average for the area, I ordered the Steak + Sushi item which constituted of a pre cut steak drenched teriyaki sauce, accompanied with eight little sushi pieces; I would rate the Sushi + Steak 10/10 for its flavor, 9.5/10 for its presentation and 8/10 for overall value as it was 29$. With that said you're in Bellevue so it's completely appropriate for dishing out that amount of dinero. Overall my family and I enjoyed our meal at Earl's. I never write reviews ever but this is an exception. I have a lot of clients and business partners that come up to Bellevue pretty regularly. Last week I brought some business partners to Earls to grab drinks after a day at the golf course. One of my business partners got up to use the bathroom shortly after our drinks were served. On her way to the bathroom she heard a very petite girl Asian girl in her 20's crack a very racist joke to one of the servers. Upon returning from the bathroom my business partner asked to speak to the manager on duty. To our surprise, out came the girl she saw and heard say the joke. I'm truly so disappointed and embarrassed. I will not be returning; and this young lady needs to be fired. That is not acceptable behavior for a professional setting. I recently dined at Earl's Kitchen + Bar in Bellevue, WA and my experience was rather mixed. I ordered the seafood platter and the Buddha's bowl for lunch. The seafood platter, unfortunately, did not live up to my expectations. The sushi rice was not well-prepared and lacked the stickiness and flavor that is characteristic of good sushi. Considering the price of the platter, this was quite disappointing. On the other hand, the Buddha's bowl was decent. It offered a good mix of fresh vegetables, grains, and protein, and was quite flavorful. It was a refreshing part of the meal. As for the service, it was okay. Place was crowded on a Saturday afternoon. In conclusion, while the Buddha's bowl was satisfactory, the seafood platter, especially the sushi rice, and the service left a lot to be desired. read more

I had a great experience at Earl's! I ordered the shrimp and scallop spaghettini, and it was absolutely delicious, I'd definitely order it again. We were celebrating a birthday, and the staff went above and beyond by bringing out one of each dessert for the table. My favorite was the rich chocolate cake with ice cream. They also treated us to complimentary champagne, which was a nice surprise. Service was fast, friendly, and very accommodating. The interior is beautiful, modern and aesthetically pleasing, which added to the overall vibe. The only thing that missed the mark for me was the strawberry margarita shot. It was really sweet and didn't taste like it had much alcohol, so I ended up ordering a straight tequila shot instead. read more

this is a nice addition to the downtown Bellevue corridor. Boy is it packed! My friend and I went to the bar which avoided the wait and I am glad we did. They have a great bar menu with lots of tasty appetizers. My friend ordered the burger and let me try it. It was amazing! I will definitely order that next time. The thing that I liked the best was the great wine selection at very reasonable prices. The bottles ranged from $27-$35 which is not the norm in the Bellevue area. And these were all decent wines. Happy hour is a great deal too. I do want to eat in the dining room by that amazing fireplace one day. I wanted to reserve it for xmas eve but they are closign at 2pm. Bummer. read more

Is there anyway to do negative ratings? I work at a bar and know what good service is.....Earls is NOT the place to go if you want that. I recently went there and our service was horrible. It took the server 20 minutes to come over.....20 minutes to get our drinks...and then she only checked on us ONCE the whole 2 hours we spent there. Anytime we needed her we had to flag her down...even to get our check! The server didn't even know their own house gin. Not only that but when she came back to tell me they couldn't make my drink she couldn't even tell me what they were out of...just "something" I will definately be spending my money elsewhere! I had the best dinner at Earls! Chef JJ is a amazing chef! I went there to celebrate anniversary with my husband and it was a wonderful experience. Our waitress was really friendly, cute and knowledgeable when we asked about the wine list. We started off with a bottle of wine before we looked at the food menu. One of the mangers came over and poured the wine for us. Starters - I had the mixed green salad and my husband had the start wedge salad. Followed by some Tuna poke nachos. Dinner - I had the Oven Roasted Chicken with smash potatoes and carrots. My husband had the full combo of Cajun chicken and baby rack ribs. I had a truly disappointing experience at Earls Kitchen + Bar. The ribs dishes with potato salads were a complete disaster. The potato salads on the sides contained raw potatoes that were impossible to eat. To make matters worse, out of the six plates ordered for our big party, every single one had raw potatoes in the salad. Despite the poor quality of the food and the fact that they failed to provide the expected service, we were still forced to pay a 20% gratuity due to their party size policy. The manager, Alec (AJ), was unable to address or resolve the issue. It's safe to say that I won't be returning to this restaurant after such a disappointing experience. read more

While the food is palatable the ambiance is not. This US version of Earls is a bastardized version on the chain that started in Vancouver BC. The Stepford waitresses all look like prostitutes, not too mention all look alike in a very creepy way. The clientele is even worse- the guys are all "Bro-dude-BRO!" types, and the woman that go there are even more horrid. The restaurant is decorated in a sleek, cold, hell-like style and mirrors. The only thing missing is the stripper poles. Undoubtedly which the "Bro-dude-BRO!" would greatly appreciate. If you're from Seattle I would advise NOT to go. If you're from the Eastisde, you may be able to handle it. read more
