Ambiance is very modern, but rest assured you're paying a premium to eat in the dark. Service was lacking. It took us waving somebody down to ask when our food is coming out. It came out 2 minutes later, only to find out they forgot my order in a table of 10. They gave me some fries to nosh on. When the food came, which took too long for a medium rare steak, it was overly salty, and barely a scoop of mashed potatoes and 2 sprigs of broccoli. My fault for trying Cajun seasoned ribeye. The cut was like a slice of baloney it was so thin. It's worth a quarter of they charged. Not worth another try. read more

Such a fun restaurant and bar! The staff is all so kind, friendly, and welcoming. I ordered the blackened chicken and it was spicy, full of flavor, and delicious! It was also not too expensive considering the portion sizes. They have lots of fun drinks as well since they have a full bar. I love the interior- they have a fireplace which makes it relaxing and fancy. It was my friends birthday and they made her feel so special with a note and free drink. This restaurant has a great ambience. Even though it's a bit pricey for the potion size, the service and food quality is worth it. The Manager of the restaurant was kind enough to discount the appetizers because the kitchen was running behind, so we ended up ordering avovado and charred corn chips - the guacamole was delicious and the corn added so much flavor and texture to the dip. For entree, I ordered the vegetarian truffle tortellini - the sauce was flavorful and creamy - the chopped spinach and broccoli tasted delicious with the sauce and was great addition to the dish. I wish they had more vegetarian options on the menu as they had run out of it when we reached there. read more

Ryan was our server, and he was pleasant and attentive. My colleague and I both eyed the highlighted Tomahawk Maple-Glazed Pork Chop. Kurobuta bone-in 14oz chop, dry-cured bacon jam, garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, peppercorn jus. Ryan says it's one of his favorites AND more important, a customer favorite! Fun, lively atmosphere with great food to boot. Had freshly shucked oysters, roasted corn and avocado dip for apps. Both were flavorful and well presented. I've been to **Earls Kitchen + Bar** in Bellevue over 20 times, and one thing has remained consistent: the food and drinks are always good, but the service is consistently disappointing. Let me start with the positives. the menu rarely misses. The food is flavorful, well-prepared, and reliable every time, although be prepared for it to take a long time. The drinks are also solid and well-made. From a quality standpoint, the kitchen and bar deliver. Ambiance is also usually pretty good. Unfortunately, the service tells a very different story. It's consistently hard to get refills, hard to get anyone's attention, and overall just feels inattentive. Tonight was a perfect example. I sat at a mostly empty bar top for about 15 minutes while the staff stood in the service well chatting with the bartender. Eventually, someone came over and took my order, but even after that, the service remained very drab and disengaged. At this point, I almost expect it when I come here , which is frustrating in itself. I keep coming back because the food and drinks are dependable, but the front-of-house experience never seems to improve. Had a lunch date on a Saturday with a friend for restaurant week, we ordered the 3 courses for $35 which was a great deal and shared the dishes so we could try more food. I've been in a couple times before for drinks and oysters at the bar so this was the first time I sat in the dining area. We loved the atmosphere, it feels very elegant yet welcoming so it's perfect for a nice night out or a bite while shopping at the mall across the street. We ordered the Charred Corn & Avocado dip and Spicy California rolls to start, the dip was so flavorful but the sushi was meh. For mains we ordered the Nashville Crispy Chicken sandwich and Spicy Calabrian Pasta, both hit the spot and we still had left over pasta to take home so serving size was generous. For desserts we ordered the only 2 that were offered which was the Sticky Toffee Chocolate pudding and the Crème Brûlée cheesecake, hands down the cheesecake stole the dessert show. Overall we enjoyed our experience and service was consistent although we did pay for 2 bottles of still water (other option was tap or sparkling) and had to kill a fly with the drink menu that kept pestering us. read more

It's unfortunate how I've heard such good things about Earl's from last year and had a bad experience. I came for an early dinner and everything started out fine. The restaurant looks very nice and I was excited. My friend pointed out how the happy hour menu had gotten considerably smaller with a few items missing. As we were ordering, the server would unfortunately tell us that there were no longer available items such as a sangria and the wagyu oshi press. We waited about 30-40 minutes for food to come - unfortunately as staff wanted to deliver all the food at once, there were a few items that ended up ready earlier than the other items so some things were cold. It was also tough to find our server and in fact it looked like they were understaffed. Overall I had a horrible experience and would not come back. read more

I didn't think I'd be back here for a while or ever to be honest after my last experience as you could read from the previous 1 star review. But I decided to give it one more chance and honestly, I was so satisfied with my experience this time around considering that I was meeting with a friend to talk about some serious conversations that night. First off, 100% of our experience was thanks to Jad. He was such a sweet server! As someone who's been a server for over a decade, I love when a server is so bright and cheery as Jad was! When we were trying to order a bottle of wine, he kindly let us know he's not of age and will get someone who can assist with questions I had regarding the wine flavor notes. I'm sorry I forgot the other server's name but he was super nice and informative as well! My friend and I were very wishy washy on what we wanted to order and when we decided on the clam chowder, which my friend raved about, Jad was so funny when he told us they no longer serve clam chowder! But he was patient with us and checked in on us several times to see if we were ready but we weren't yet. Then we finally ordered! We were there for some time and he let us know he was done for the shift so I of course knowing how the industry works was more than glad to cash out with him so he could collect the tips he deserved! I recently visited Earl's for their happy hour weekend brunch and was definitely not disappointed!! (Bottomless mimosas and a meal for only $40pp) The restaurant itself had a beautiful modern interior, with large windows and ceilings making it feel spacious. The waiters were very kind and the food was reasonably priced! I got the vegetarian avocado benedict which came with a side of potatoes and a side salad (great portions!) The benedict itself was delicious! A slice of toasted sourdough with avocado smash that was lightly seasoned with lemon juice. The poached eggs on top were perfectly done (the video is proof of it!), and the hollandaise was the perfect creamy finishing touch. Only drawback was that the bread was a bit soggy, which was unfortunate since the crunch would've added great textural contrast to the dish. Otherwise, it was delicious (would recommend drizzling cholula on top)! The potatoes were absolutely delicious, and reminiscent of both hash browns and potato wedges- crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Could inhale an entire plate of these! The salad was a nice refreshing touch which helped cut through the richness of the benedict. Would've loved a sweeter dressing to balance the rest of the flavors in the dish. Loved the food and service here! My family and I had come from STK after having a terrible experience there and we were immediately treated 1000 times better at Earls from the moment we walked in! We came for happy hour and it was so much fun. Our server (I can't recall her name) was so nice and gave great recommendations on all of the food. She was super knowledgeable on the menu and drinks. The happy hour menu was great my mom and I got the petite steak frites which was a great price and tasted delicious! Unfortunately I don't remember our waitresses name but she was great! We ordered a Virginia Ham & Cheese Omelette, Bloody Mary, Nitro Espresso Martini and Nashville Crispy Chicken & Waffles. The omelette was nice and fluffy. We really liked the layered potatoes that came with the omelette, which had the perfect texture. The fried chicken had a nice kick to it and paired very nicely with the Belgian waffle. We liked that everything didn't feel oily and we didn't feel gross after eating. We appreciated the happy hour pricing, though it was still a little expensive, given the portion sizes. Prompt service and have always had an interactive staff to take our order and they always give the best recommendations. The happy hour after 10pm is such a good offer with pretty decent menu options to choose from. The sticky chocolate toffee pudding with ice cream and creme brûlée are both delicious.
