If I could leave 10 stars I would. Rafael was our hero tonight! An hour before sunset our small cat was chased up a tree by a dog. She was VERY high and too scared to come down. I can not recommend Eagle Tree Service. They cut my trees at my neighbor's direction, 2 feet over the property line onto my property. The worst part was went over to speak to them, he insisted it was legal and that he hadn't crossed my property line. I think two feet past my fence constitutes my property. They leaned their ladder against my fence, and used my trees to put up ropes. The worst part was when I went to tell them they did not have permission they argued with me. Very depressing and disappointing. My neighbor has been cutting my trees without my permission for years, and tree trimmers who illegally cross property lines enable her. My trees are completely butchered. He had the gall to tell me they were going to "grow back beautifully." read more

Our neighbors were getting a tree removed from their yard and I was woken up at 4 AM by their chainsaw. I was concerned about who would be using a chainsaw in the middle of the night, and thought it would end soon, but instead a little while later their loud truck engine began roaring and they started using the giant chipper machine. At 4:30 in the morning!!! This was right outside our windows in the middle of the night and went on for almost 2 hours. It woke up our 3 and 5 year old children and none of us got any sleep. It seemed impossible. An enormous branch of a 30 foot tree rooted just over my fence on Caltrans land was threatening my property, but I couldn't imagine how anyone could get it out of there considering that the walkway that connects that area to my driveway is less than 3 feet wide and there is no place to put a crane. I called Rafael based on the reviews and he came over immediately and gave me an estimate. He and his helper showed up a tad early on the promised day, worked steadily for about three hours and took out the offending branch in chunks, also trimming another Caltrans tree that was threatening the garage. They cleaned up beautifully afterwards. My only small quibble is that Rafael had promised to leave some chips for mulch and barbecue and apparently forgot, but I would not hesitate to hire him again when the trees need trimming. A large live oak tree came down in my yard during the heavy winds we had recently. I called Eagle Tree Service, and they came out within half an hour to look at the job. They came back the next day and removed the tree without damaging anything else. When I noticed the oak tree had damaged my lemon tree when it fell, they took those damaged limbs, too. They cleaned up afterward and even gathered up the green lemons from the damaged limbs so I could have them. Let's hope they ripen. Fantastic job up here in Piedmont Pines! I had dead limbs removed from five huge Monterey Pines and Redwoods on my property.
