Armando and his crew did an amazing job, 100% recommend. We had multiple additional requests at the beginning of the project, and at first, I was a bit worried as Armando wasn't taking any notes, but his head works better than mine, and they have delivered every single thing. Attaching before and after photos of our fence. Thank you! read more

Fantastic Work and Great Service! We had a fantastic experience with Neza Iron Works in Oakland. Armando was great to work with throughout the entire process. Getting an estimate was easy, the work was completed quickly, and they showed up right on time. Armando and his crew were courteous, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. They fabricated a beautiful custom stair banister and railing that turned out even better than we expected. The crew also did a great job cleaning up when they were finished. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the work and service we received. Overall, we couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Neza Iron Works to anyone looking for quality custom iron work. We will definitely work with Neza Iron Works again in the future! read more

Armando and his team did a great job on our exterior handrails for our home. Easy communications, fair and fast pricing, on-time and follows through. This will be my go-to team for metal-related jobs moving forward for future projects. read more

We've used Armando and his crew for 2 jobs now. Both of them gates connected to fences that were previously built on our property. Basically they solved the issues that we had with the weight of the gate taking the gate off line over time and being a real hassle to latch or close properly. He came and asked the right questions and took his design back to his shop. Made the gate, and the crew came out to install and paint them in a day. He even shored up the first fence additionally as a goodwill gesture. He's easy to work with, offered reasonable estimates, and stayed on budget and on time. Plus he's pleasant to work with and his guys know what they're doing. read more

Armando responded to my request for quote through Yelp immediately and we were able to schedule a day and time for him to come out and visit. He had to come from Oakland to SF which was very much appreciated. I had some drawings prepared for him to review and quote so he was able to quickly give us a price for a pair of wrought iron handrails for the front of our house. His family run the business so he was familiar with what they are capable of doing as well as catering to our design requirements. Armando was so gracious and knowledgeable it was refreshing to speak to someone who knows what they are doing. I felt very comfortable with him. Sadly we did not choose Neza as we did get a competitive bid from another fabricator which I also was very pleased with. I contacted Armando as soon as possible to let him know and he replied graciously. If you need ornamental metal work please give Neza a chance since they are customer focused and well rated in Yelp. Ask for Armando!! read more

They were extremely helpful me understand my fencing project. I really appreciate his advice and expertise. Thank you!

I met with Armando over 3 weeks ago to review our handrail project, but never received a quote, so can't assess the quality of the product. There must be a shortage of welders in the area, because several of them have been flaky and not followed up. Good for them that they are busy! Or perhaps our project is too small / not enough profit. Sanchez Iron Works is one of the few to followup with us. I really hate to knock small businesses, but I don't want anyone else to have their time wasted in our busy schedules, so want to be honest about my experience. It looks like other people here have gotten followup, so perhaps it's hit or miss! Update: Very strangely, Armando is saying in his response below that he told me he doesn't make the kind of handrail that I want, which is a weird lie because we came up with a plan together for something more simple that would work and he said he would send a quote. I'm not sure why he would lie about that? read more

I'm so happy with the job that they did I am having them come back and add another railing.

As a property manager overseeing more than 100 doors throughout the Bay Area, Nezra Iron Works has become my go-to gate vendor. I've used them for both a residential project in San Francisco and a commercial building in Oakland--and both gates exceeded expectations in quality and appearance. One standout aspect is that Nezra includes detailed drawings with each estimate--personally sketched and delivered quickly, giving you a clear vision right from the start. I requested a mailbox to be integrated into the design, and it was installed beautifully. I also opted to leave the top of the gate open to allow package deliveries to be securely dropped in--an incredibly practical touch. This company truly respects their customers' time and delivers with speed, precision, and excellent communication from start to finish. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and I look forward to working with them on future projects. read more

Armando Sanchez and his team are true pros. I put off getting railings on our front steps (for about 20 years). When I did make the call to Neza, Armando visited our home and gave me a quote within the hour. About 32 hours later, the Neza team had installed custom fabricated, high quality, gorgeous railings at our place. I was and am pinching myself because the experience was so smooth and timely, and the work is so high quality. The price was very good, response time was obviously excellent, and the whole team are seriously skilled hard workers. They were a delight to work with, provided exactly the service I requested, and I will definitely call them again. I recommend them for any iron work you might need. read more

I am so impressed and pleased with the professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail demonstrated by Armando and his team, Saul and Leo. My neighbor had a small railing installed about a year ago. It turned out well, so I asked for the company information. My house needed a railing at the bottom of the stairs and a gate across the top. I texted Armando and he came the next morning. We talked about the project and design, and he came back by the end of the day with a reasonable estimate. They could start a day later. When the team showed up, they were prepared and got right to work. We refined the design elements and sizes. Communication was excellent. The guys welded the templates and said they would finish fabrication and be back...THE NEXT DAY! Wow! The next afternoon they arrived with the finished railing and gate, proceeded to install them, and then, to my complete surprise and delight, they painted my existing railings to they would look new, too! Two neighbors have asked for their info, so I think I'll be seeing them around! Thank you for a beautiful job. I love how it looks and works! read more

We needed railings for the stairs in front of our house, plus repair of a an existing railing along our front porch that had become loose. Armando was recommended by two friends. He came by to give me a verbal estimate on the same day I called him, and his staff did the work the next morning. Fastest and easiest home improvement project ever! Reasonable prices. The new railing looks good and feels sturdy. For the loose railing, they re-soldered it and bolted it to the porch landing and it now feels sturdy too. read more

Armando and his team were great to work with! They were prompt, reliable, and fairly priced. They went above and beyond to work with us to capture the design and features we wanted, and had many example projects to pull from when working through this. We highly recommend! I reached out to Neza (and Armando) because they separated themselves from other companies through the experiences shared by their customers - and now, we get to add our voice. After a brief chat on the phone, Armando came to our home and listened to our situation. After studying our fence, he shared his view of our options and the pros & cons (specific to us) of each. After deciding the path to follow, the Neza crew got to work the next day. The crew worked hard all day, did a great job and finished up the next day. We ended up with a terrific final product, and importantly, it was the perfect solution for us. Armando is knowledgeable, a good listener, consultative and most of all, he cares about the experience of his customers. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Neza Metal Works. Armando built the stairs for my ADU and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. First off -- the turnaround time was unbelievable. He had the stairs fabricated and ready in just three days. In construction, that kind of speed without sacrificing quality is rare. Most shops would have taken weeks. Second -- the craftsmanship was excellent. The welds were clean, the lines were straight, and everything felt solid and precise. You can tell immediately when someone takes pride in their work, and Armando absolutely does. But what really sets him apart is his integrity. He was beyond fair on pricing -- no games, no inflated numbers, no last-minute add-ons. Just honest, straightforward communication and exactly what he promised. In an industry where that can be hard to find, it stood out. If you're looking for metal work done right, done fast, and done by someone who genuinely stands behind his work, Neza Metal Works is it. Armando is one of the most honest and reliable people I've dealt with in construction. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. read more

Would highly recommend Armando and his team to anyone looking to get iron fence with automation and security gate. He is best in the business and to top it off his prices are very competitive.
