Valencia's Iron Works was the 1st of 6 companies we had out for an estimate. I was impressed with Fernando's demeanor and his suggestions for how to handle the work we needed done to upgrade our apartment building railings to code. His ideas were what we asked of each of the people we had out. Fernando was honest, had a fair quote and was flexible when we needed a small change. We had Valencia's add a second railing to our outdoor stairs. We were on a short timeline and they came out within a day to do an estimate. The estimate came in a bit under the other company we contacted. They then fabricated and installed the railing in less than a week. The work was excellent and they did a great job matching the other railing. They were very easy to communicate throughout the process. I would strongly recommend them to everyone!! read more

Fernando and his team were professional and a pleasure to work with. I wish I had more projects to do with Fernando! We have custom metal railings in our backyard, and when we added a deck we wanted about 20' of matching railings around it and down a stairway. I contacted Fernando and he was friendly and responsive. He was able to match our custom railing design, as well as modifying existing pieces into the design to minimize waste. He recommended good design solutions and solved problems nicely. His metalwork looks nice and clean. He took care of painting the new railings to match the existing ones. He installed them efficiently with his coworker. He was responsive to my concerns and requests and sensitive to our schedule (which was admittedly loose). He was prompt with appointments-- or very communicative if something came up. He sent us photos of our railings while they were in progress. I shopped around and was able to get estimates from three providers. The original contractor gave an estimate but then went dark (into retirement?). Another took a visit and a few weeks to figure out their company couldn't do the work (but proposed alternative designs (?)). read more

Fernando responded to my Yelp bid to make my too high canopy bed a great height and remove the canopy. Also to get a new color. It took us a while to both be ready to go but once we set a schedule things moved like clockwork. He under promised and over delivered in all the ways. Clear communicator, does what he says he will do, reasonable price, and he is kind. I noticed that he really thought ahead to the next steps when taking apart the project and putting it back together. I am super picky and I was impressed by how careful and efficient they were. They were very respectful of my time and my space and my stuff and I felt super cared for. Don't hesitate to hire these folks. They do beautiful work. read more

Valencia's Iron Works is a family-owned local company. They provide quality service for your home. I would like to give the highest recommendation for Valencia's Ironworks. Immediately after initially reaching out, Fernando responded to us right away and set up a time to come out. Communication was so easy! The installation took only one morning, and the end result was amazing. He worked above and beyond what we asked. We are very satisfied with the new balcony railings from Valencia. Fernando responded quickly to our request for help. We initially planned to repair the old railings. He sent us quotes for both repair and replacement options. We decided to replace them. The lead time was 7 weeks. His team of four worked non-stop to finish the entire installation in one day. They removed the old railings and installed the new railings section by section. They finished the on-site welding and touched up all the paint. They had to go through the house to access the balconies and they were careful not to track in dirt on the carpet. The railings look great! read more

Needed some welds redone on a couple of small front porch railings that had rusted out over the years. Work was done in about a week for what I felt was a more than fair price. The welds were solid and were filed/sanded down to allow me to have them powder coated and not have the welds show through the paint. Very happy. read more

We had a side gate that was all wood and with the winter rains it would swell up so much so that we could not open it for about four to five months of the year. I called Valencia Iron Works and spoke to Fernando about installing a metal-framed gate. He came over and measured it and in 8 weeks he installed a really nice gate. Not only is it very functional but it looks great. He was always prompt and his work is clean. There was a bit of a delay getting the door produced but I chalk that up to the fact that we are in a pandemic...overall great work read more

Reliable and made the appointment on time. Fixed/replaced rusted hinge of an iron gate that came detached. Noticed the second hinge on the same gate is about to pop and offered to replace the second hinge for a small fraction of the original quote. They are one of the places who are willing to do a relatively "small job" like this. Looking forward to have them back to help us fix other issues with our iron fencing. Really reasonably priced. Can't go wrong with these honest folks with high integrity and professionalism. Highly recommend. read more
