First of all this is one of the cleanest nail salons in Eagan all the staff are very professional and my nail technician did a very good job. Everything was cleaned promptly and each service was well prepared and planned out. I only got the basic pedicure with gel which stays on a significant amount of time especially during the summer months when you're going to the beach. I really enjoyed the conversation I had with the nail technician he was very professional and personable which is not seen often at a nail place that's busy, so that was very nice and added to the overall experience. I used to come to this place all the time. I decided to pop back in since I was in the area and I wish I would have been a little more patient and waited till I got around my house. I walked in and asked for 3 different kind of colors and they didn't have any. There's plenty different colors and I wasn't going to complain. So I picked one and she said she could do ombré with that color, absolutely not! She just painted the tips. I don't remember her name at all. I tried to get rhinestones in hopes of a better outcome and it only got worse from there. She was so pushy and rude so I just wanted to get out of there and I didn't care for her to fix anything. First of all it is expensive. $30 for gel manicure is way more than I've paid anywhere else, and it didn't last I got it done on Sunday, now it's Wednesday and they are coming off already! I would go back but they would probably charge me for their bad work. They even charged me for getting rid of calluses on my heels, shouldn't that be included in a pedicure? Quit going here a while back because the polish would chip off my toes within 3-4 days. Decided to give it a try this week and what a disappointment!!! 3 of my toes were bleeding when I left and now 2 are infected!! Went in to get a full set with my cousin and they seemed annoyed right away that we had two full sets and they told us to choose a color and we'd be helped right away. As we're choosing a color another woman walks in and gets helped right away while only I got helped and my cousin had to sit for 30 minutes to wait to even get started while three more people walked in and got helped during this time. After that they were very rushed finishing my full set in about 7 minutes. My cousin spent 20 minutes in the chair (across the room because they separated us while every other person who came in with someone else got to sit together) getting her nails done. At the drying table I was horrified to see how bad her nails were. They were sticking up from her nail, not two nails were even and they didn't even put top coat on the matte nail polish she chose. I have been going to this salon for a while and the work is usually done well. However I have noticed some customer service issues and will not be going back because of it. For a few of my visits I get pestered at the end to give a "cash tip" because otherwise they have to pay big fees and what not. While I understand there are fees with credit cards, that is part of the customer service experience. I always leave a generous tip and don't like being asked to bring in cash separately for a tip. You are lucky I am even giving you a tip at all. Second, they advertise gel manicures for $24.95 Monday through Wednesday which is a great deal I took advantage of. But when I went to pay they told me it was $30 - and when I asked why they said the deal doesn't apply to me because they had to take existing polish off of my nails. I have never heard of a salon CHARGING to take polish off your nails when you are paying for a complete service. Especially when they have a large banner advertising the sale price. After I complained they gave me the sale price but told me next time I have to ask to make sure taking polish off is included. This is just a scam in my opinion. I consistently go to this salon so of course I have polish on my nails. It is part of good customer service to take my polish off so I can pay you for a completely new service. It's false advertising. Please be aware of this if you choose to utilize Eagan Nails for you next nail service. The work is good but I don't like the "fake" customer service. read more

I walked in for my first time today and had a great first impression. It looks great in there and was very happy I decided to give Eagan nails a try. I am frequent at Turbo Nails. However, walking out I had a totally different impression. The lady doing my nails seemed so rushed to get them done- she would literally yank my drying hand out from under the lamp and push my other one in. She also applied three coats of nail polish which is just too much- my nails look misshaped and just way too bulky. Don't think I will be going back any time soon. Adding on 5/3/15- I had my nails done on Thursday- it is now Tuesday and from my nail polish being so thick the gel lifted and fully came off in one section. So pissed I even paid $30 for these and of course they don't offer refunds. read more
