Hokkaido Milk Tea w/ Boba and Pudding
    Anh T.

I came here during the weekend and was able to find parking near the residential area. The design of the boba shop/restaurant was a bit odd, with minimal decorations and bright colored areas. I ordered the Hokkaido Milk Tea with Boba and Pudding. While the customer service was not up to par with what I wanted, my drink came out in a timely manner and tasted good! My friend saw that they were advertising Japanese soft-serves, so she got a chocolate one. We thought it was going to be fresh, but it came out of a freezer with ice around the soft serve. Still, she enjoyed it. I am interested in trying the food they offer during another visit!

honey lemon green tea w/ boba, 50% sugar, less ice

Drinks (3/5): I bought 5 drinks in total for my friends. All of them said it tastes really good, but my drink (honey lemon green tea) tasted horrible. It would've been better if the lemon skin wasn't in the drink. All I was able to taste was the lemon skin. Service (1/5): No hate to the barista or anything- I understand that he was alone in the shift during the time, but the attitude towards me and my niece when we were ordering and making the drinks was really unnecessary. I believe that he was being really moody because I placed a pretty big order and he had to do it on his own- which I understand -- big orders, more work to do... but he did not have to slam the drinks in the basket after finishing with one drink. When we were about to leave, we said "thank you" and "bye have a great day" but he didn't even bother to say a word back, and instead just glared at us. Environment (4/5): Place is pretty clean and organzied. Space is pretty small but I understand. There was also areas to sit on while waiting for our drinks to be made so that was a good thing. Overall: 2/5 -- Would be higher if the barista was treating us a slight bit better and without the attitude towards us.

Organic Jasmine Green Milk Tea w/ Boba

Came here after dinner close by. It's been a long time since I've been here but it's still what I remember! Got the Jasmine milk tea with boba and it was solid - strong tea flavor, chewy boba. They don't offer an option to adjust ice/sweetness level here (maybe unless you ask, but I don't think they're trained to do so according to the menu), but my drink wasn't overly sweet. Fast service. Not your modern boba shop but a nice local spot.

Stopped by after dinner for some bubble tea. I got the peach slush w boba and it was good! The price was $5.50 which I think is decent for the bay area.

Mango Sago w/ Lychee Jelly and Black Milk Tea

2/5. Was in the area with few friends and we all had a craving for some boba. E Tea was close by, so why not give this spot a try. The Food: I went with a Mango Sago with Lychee Jelly and my friend had a Black Milk Tea with boba. The mango sago wasn't that great. The mango flavor was incredibly overwhelming and sweet. The Black Milk Tea was bitter and had a little burnt after taste. Not sure how that happened, but we ended up just trashing it. Boba pearls and lychee jelly tasted good though. The Service: Service was good! Staff was friendly when we walked in and browsed the menu. The Atmosphere: Nice ad small boba shop. It looks like they serve food as well inside, and from the dishes we saw some people eat. It looked very good. Maybe the food is just better than the drinks. Overall, a 2/5. The milk tea's we had were not good. It could've just been that particular day, but I don't think I'd recommend this place.

    Matcha milk tea with boba
    Sydney J.

I ordered online for pickup from Super Pan, which it turns out shares a physical space with E Tea. I got a matcha milk tea with boba. I asked in the special requests section for 25% sweetness and no or lowest possible ice. It still tasted quite sweet but I could definitely taste the matcha. They did honor the request for no ice. The boba was sweet and just the right firmness.

A cute little shop serving a variety of teas and drinks. The decor was a bit cluttered and the service was a bit lackluster. The drinks were a little too sweet even though I got half sugar, but I would still rate this an average score just because the flavors were there and the boba was cooked well. It's definitely nothing special, but if you need a spot for a quick, refreshing drink, this is a pretty good option! Prices are really good too!

12/15/24 Macha Milk Tea !!! Yummy!! Fulfilling!! A wise decision to watch NFL games Sunday at work!!

Guava Green Tea w/ Aloe Salty Cheese Crema Drink

Pretty empty when we dropped by around noon on a Sunday. The menu is very confusing.... Feels like it's everywhere? Service is pretty quick and friendly. Organic black tea with salted cheese crema - 10/10. So good! It wasn't too sweet at all although I got 100% sweetness. Salted cheese crema went together with black tea so well, and made the drink very creamy with a tiny hint of sweetness. Their other salted cheese crema are the same! A huge fan of these drinks. Guava green tea - 5/10. No flavor of tea at all. Tastes like water mixed with guava syrup.

Friendly, helpful service. Solid, milk tea. Maybe a tad watery, but i enjoyed it. The boba was good. Quaint place. Light music in the background, which is coming from the food place next door with which E Tea shares space.

    Guava Green Tea- not good
    Joanne C.

This place reminds me of quicklys where middle schoolers come after school. But still I wanted to give it a chance. I got the guava green tea 50% sweet and there was LITERALLY NO tea flavor. Tasted like water with guava syrup. I had to toss it in the trash cause it was just that bad ): Normally I would come back to try their other drinks but I don't know if I want to spend the money and have the drink taste bad again.

    Wintermelon Lemon Tea w/ Aloe
    Diana N.

I loved my drink!! It's definitely not too sweet and the cashier/bobarista was very nice! The drink came out immediately within 3 minutes :) There is a sitting area in the Super Pan area as well as the boba shop itself but it was limited.

You can tell they use good ingredients, and the texture was super smooth--perfect for a warm day. Service was friendly and pretty efficient, even though it looked a bit busy. The overall vibe feels casual and comfortable, a nice place to just grab something and go or chill for a bit. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I wish the flavor had a little more depth or customization options, but overall still a solid choice. I'd definitely come back to try more from the menu.

There is some seating inside to hang out with friends while enjoying boba, but it is a bit cramp inside. Not much service - the employees do not really pay attention to you, so you may be waiting a good 10 minutes before they take your order, so I recommend ordering online. I ordered a Purple Kow Milk Tea with boba and grass jelly. The milk tea tasted a bit sour like an aftertaste, so that was a bummer. For about $9 for that size, it would had definitely been worth it, if the drink was good or even decent. Also, I ordered online and it still took almost half an hour to get just 1 drink.

The drink took about 25-30 minutes to be prepared so don't come in a hurry!! I inserted the straw into the bottom of my cup and sucked. Nothing came out. I had to suck with more strength, due to the thick consistency of the drink. Finally, a gelatinous, slimy and sort of sweet substance came out of the tip of the straw. You do have to work for it due to the thickness of the drink, it's not liquidy. The actual matcha had a strong and smooth taste but to be honest was a little too concentrated which made it a bit astringent. This drink was truly a journey for the mouth. Usually a drink is about taste but this one was much more about tactility, or at least that's how it felt. Unfortunately the substance seemed to leave a strange metallic, unpleasant aftertaste that lasted for quite a while after finishing the drink. Texture: interesting taste:2.5 , it was new to me but i wouldn't have it again aftertaste : gross The next drink ordered was some sort of blue mango coconut concoction. Every menu item had a grandiose name so i'm not sure the exact one but it was a mango coconut slush. They white jelly substance was back and taking charge in the bottom of the drink. Along with the strange substance was a plethora of white tasteless balls. Not like traditional boba, but not bad. the flavor of the drink was good, a bit too coconuty for my liking but it was fine. The real problem was the radio of (balls + substance) : drink... way too high! i barley had any sips that had more drink then texture additives. The taste was good, but texture was off, and my stomach was not too happy after ingesting the whole thing in about 10 minutes.
