I give two stars for the value and service, the rest is subpar. I called in around 6PM on a Friday evening to order a party tray for pick up. It was ready as promised in about half hour. It was $50 for 24pc sushi, five regular rolls and one special roll, which is great in value. When I got home I cleaned up and ready to enjoy my dinner, I realized they forgot to give us washabi, which is pretty crucial to pair with sushi. I had to go out to the supermarket again just to get a bottle of washabi, because I'm half hour drive from the restaurant. Then while I'm checking, they gave me one less roll than I ordered. I understand they're busy with orders, but missing two items is disappointing. Last is the quality, some of the roll pieces are like they tried to squeeze out the last drop of rice, it can barely called a sushi roll. See top of picture. The salmon isn't very fresh, and the shrimp is rough and overcooked Also the rice was a bit hard and falling apart, which is less desired quality of sushi rice used here. E sushi 2 is basically E sushi but in the sheepshead area. They are brand new and the decor is pretty different from E Sushi. I love their cushy chairs. It's very comfortable. Their atmosphere is still very friendly which is great. Their selection will not be any different and their quality is pretty much the same. The only gripe I had upon coming here was that the food service is veered towards the slow side. I guess since they only have one sushi chef working, it is hard to keep up with all our orders. I have never eaten at an all you can eat place and left feeling happy with my decision to eat at an all you can eat place. That is until I found e sushi 2. The salmon apple Yuzu salad, chicken skewers, spicy kani crunch and broccoli tempura are delicious and fresh. The Shumai is clearly frozen and fried, wasn't a big fan but that's the only qualm I had with my experience. The salmon used to be top tier in quality and freshness but seems to be just ok nowadays. Still better than anything you can get in south Brooklyn. 26$ you will most certainly leaving full. read more

The last time I was here, I gave this restaurant a five star review, but today when I went back with my friend, it was a nightmare experience. I was in the middle of eating my food with a fork in my hand when the waitress came over to me and literally said to me, "You can't eat like that miss." "It's a waste of money." Came here on New Year's Day and the place was packed! For AYCE, the quality of the fish was okay - salmon was good in terms of all you can eat quality and comes in thick cut pieces. We ordered several of the hot appetizers and everything came out great - I like that they have a separate menu for appetizers and their sushi because the appetizer menu can get quite extensive. So, on a previous review the place is said to be BYOB but the place have their liquor license now. I brought in a pack of beers, and received some hesitation from the waitress but they allowed us to drink and open the beers at an extra $5 for the entire table which wasn't bad. Not sure if byob is a solid thing but luckily the waitress I asked was okay with it, but we did received some glare from this other waitress that took our order. Overall, the presentation is great! Ordered sushi delux spring roll and an extra eel sushi. this was the 3rd time I've ordered from them. Food came pretty fast but the rice was cold the fish very skimpy and soft like not fresh. The spring rolls were empty and soggy and the eel was not fresh. If it we're not a delivery I'd have sent it back. Totally disappointed and felt it was a waste of money. I went here for my birthday and do feel quite satisfied with their all you can eat option! We reserved our seating in advance so I can't say much about the wait time but the place does get full. I think the pricing (and I can eat a lot of sushi!). I love the option of having as much salmon sashimi and nigiri as I want, haha! I love some of their specialty rolls as well. E Sushi was the first all you can eat sushi place we found when we moved to New York City. My wife, the sushi obsessive woman that she is, immediately demanded all you can eat sushi upon our arrival. We were staying at an Airbnb that was fortuitously only a few blocks from the original location. Over the next couple years, despite moving to Bed Stuy, we would commute back because the food was that good. Sadly, the original location burned down a couple years ago. When that happened, we were left without a permanent sushi home so we explored other places like Akino. But then we got the surprise news that there was an E sushi 2! Now that we have sewed our wild oats a bit, I don't know if this is the best all you can eat sushi place in Brooklyn and Queens. It is certainly the best in Brooklyn. It's a coin flip between this place and Akino in Queens. If you are out in Valley Stream, Tobiko is a contender as well. I particularly love the excellent service here and the fact that if you order a ton of sushi at once, it always comes out on a huge wooden boat which makes you feel simultaneously gluttonous and celebratory. My wife is a Sashimi fan and has great things to say about this place's sashimi, though the Sashimi out in Valley Stream at Tobiko is a little better. Akino has better rolls. This is a new all you can eat sushi restaurant. They have another location in Flatbush that's been running for about 7 years and they were smart to open a second location in this area because business can go well for them if they do things right. The 4 stars is a bit generous because they still have some things to work on and improve but, generally their concept is good. The decor is nice with comfortable booths. The service is a bit slow and they will need to hire more and better staff if they pick up in business. We arrived about 15 minutes after their opening time on a Sunday afternoon and they were not set up and ready. It wasn't that big of a deal for us because we were not in a rush but the food did take long to come out because they weren't ready for guests. They don't have a liquor license yet so don't expect to get drinks with your food. They did say that they are in the process and should be getting one in a few weeks. I don't know if they allow BYOB but it might be worth checking with them if you'd like to throw back a beer or two with your meal. The food is decent. Some sushi was pretty good and some was just OK. They have a good selection of specialty rolls. It's worth mentioning that the raw fish (sushi and sashimi) was very good. I would say it was better quality than your average "all you can eat" place. My friend recommended we go here because her favorite sushi place is E Sushi and she heard about E Sushi 2 opening so she had to check it out. We thought since it's the second one, it can't be too far from the best thing. Turns out, we were right. Everything here was spectacular!!! The staff was so kind and friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. Everything tasted so fresh! We chose the buffet option and they served it to us on a cute boat plate. The green tea was so flavorful too! The buffet menu had so many good options. We ordered a couple pieces of sushi and different rolls. Philadelphia, shrimp tempura, and rainbow rolls were our favorite. The teriyaki options were amazing too- we got chicken and salmon. The buffet also included desert which was four flavors of ice cream but that was more than enough! The aesthetics of this restaurant was also very beautiful and felt comfy and homey. I'll for sure be coming back to this place some time soon with my family and definitely recommend it for everyone to try. The sushi was god awful, and I ordered vegetarian rolls. It tasted like cardboard meets plastic. The only good part was the plentiful,albeit watered down version of the miso soup. Came here with my friend, her remarks were that the Kani salad had no mayo, the roles were highly on spectacular, and everything was two notches below flavor. This is by far my favorite all you can eat sushi place! Me and my friend go here several times a month. The waitress are so nice and never rush you even when it's busy. The food quality is too notch. There is also no limit to how much food you can have plus ice cream is included. In my opinion you can't go wrong with any of the appetizers. We usually start with spicy Kani salads, springs rolls, shumai, fried noodles etc. the sushi and sushiami also taste super fresh. You also have a choice between regular rolls hand rolls or both.
