The kitchen lady who answered the phone had a very bad attitude. She kept asking me to pay first before I could order food.damn it.Then the food took a long time to wait. And the food is not good either. I strongly recommend do not come to this place.

The audio equipment here is very good, the overall environment is very clean, and I heard that the food is from Hong Kong. It's really delicious!

Rock Cod Chow Fun in Blackbean Sauce
Nicole M.

I've been looking everywhere for a place that sells Jianbing! It was one of my favorite meals from my time in Xian. I ordered the original. It's was pretty good! The pancake was nice and thin but fluffy. I loved how much spicy sauce they used. And the crispness was nice. The original was a little too plane for me (I miss it with the hot dog) so I'll definitely be trying the other ones in hopes that there's more filling. I also ordered the rock cod chow fun with black bean sauce. It was delicious!!! The cod was cooked perfectly and the black bean sauce was amazing. Will definitely be ordering from this girl place again!

PSA - Take out only. I wanted to like it. I really did. Ordered the Hu Tong with pork. Paid $1 for an egg and $1 for preserved vegetables. It was ground meat, there was way too much sauce, and far too salty. The crispy bit in the middle wasn't even there. Looked nothing like the photo. Second dish was the noodles and shrimp. Shrimp came from a long frozen bag that had zero flavor. The MSG did end up providing some flavor to the dish. And then I got yelled at they the tiny slot of a window by a 14 year old girl for parking in one of their 3 parking spaces. We were the only customers there at 7:45 pm Friday Update - response to Michael's letter below. Screen shot to preserve the information. Reads like a very defensive letter. Let me tell you why I'm right versus "let's use that feedback to improve." I support the Chinese community - even spoke mandarin and Cantonese to the last taking the order. The Hu Tong - originally I asked for beef, pointed to the photo, and asked for that. You were out of beef. Then you were also out of cilantro. Did I need to say less or no sauce? And yes. Yelled at. "Hey, you can't park there!!!" Is very different from "be careful, don't hit the curb." You've got cameras - play back her words. Or shall I post my dash cam too? I'll assume no comment on the shrimp meant I was correct.

Amazing services and food. Nice karaoke environment too. There's bday services which is good for bday gathering.

Karaoke and food

My friends and I came here for karaoke. We were greeted by the friendly staff. She took our temperature before letting us into the building and clearly explained the safety precautions that they were taking for CoVid. She also explained the room rates and the specials that they were having. We went with the special that was $35 per person for 2 hours of karaoke for 4 people with 1 entree and 1 non-alcoholic drink. Service was good, friendly, and food was good. Also, the room was nice and clean! Couldn't ask for anything else. Great experience!

Their portions are huge compared to other places. We got my favorite porridge and a Singaporean rice noodle and a beef tendons and brisket over rice noodle rolls. Don't forget to order that fried donut which accompanies any porridge..... If you spend more than 68, they give a half soy sauce chicken for free, but for us two, it was way too much already. Next time, if we have more folks, because we already have enough leftovers for tonight.

We ordered 4 dishes for 99$ which also comes with an additional soup and two items bbq. Also, dessert was complimentary. The value is amazing, and all the dishes were extremely tasty. The braised tofu in pot was rich and comforting, and the texture of the fish was firm but still tender. The teriyaki beef was tasty and the string beans weren't overcooked and soft. The whole fried fish was also great, and the walnut prawns were tasty and not over breaded. The soup and the bbq items were also good, and portions on every dish were great. Ambiance wise, don't expect much as this is a down to earth spot/cantonese cafe/diner. However, service is timely and friendly, considering this isn't a fine dining establishment. We also often get take-out from Hing-Lung, and the food is nice and fresh. Overall, highly recommend this spot, especially if you are in the SFO area.

My friend eats it and the cheese pulls long, long, long! I want to eat it too! 2 French Toast with Milk and Ovaltine Oh my god! This is so special! The bread smells sweet and soft, just like a pineapple bun. When you cut it, the milk and Ovaltine flow out like a waterfall! The bread is full of sweet milk. It is SO yummy! 3 Beef Short Ribs with Fried Egg Rice I tried one piece from my friend. The beef is so juicy and yummy! You get a big plate of rice and a drink for one person. It is just perfect! 5 Baked Spaghetti with Meat Sauce I love pasta! I took one bite and said, "Oh my god!" The tomato taste is so strong. Every bite has a lot of meat sauce, and the noodles are so bouncy. It is very good! No wonder this restaurant is open for more than 18 years! If you fly into SF or before you leave, and you don't know what to eat, come try this place!

Service was extremely slow, it took about 35-50 minutes for all of our dishes to arrive. There were only two waitresses handling both dine-in and takeout orders, so the staff seemed overwhelmed throughout the meal. We ordered the iced Hong Kong milk tea and iced lemon tea. The milk tea lacked the smooth, silky texture and rich evaporated milk flavor you'd expect from a proper HK-style milk tea. The lemon tea had a strong tea flavor, but the lemon itself wasn't sour or fragrant enough to balance it out. It also seemed like regular white sugar was used instead of traditional yellow rock sugar, so the drinks missed that classic Hong Kong café aroma and depth. For appetizers, we tried the salt and pepper chicken wings and salt and pepper fish. Both were crispy, flavorful, and well-seasoned, but you could also tell the frying oil wasn't very fresh. We also ordered the baked seafood spaghetti and baked beef tongue spaghetti. Both dishes were disappointing, not enough cheese, overly thick sauce, and an artificial-tasting flavor. The standout dish of the night was definitely the seafood pan-fried noodles. The noodles were nicely crispy, the seafood to vegetable ratio was generous, and the gravy sauce tied everything together well. Overall, the food didn't really deliver the authentic Hong Kong-style flavors we were hoping for. A few dishes were decent, but the long wait times and inconsistent quality made this a 3-star experience for us.

I don't eat porridge often, usually when really under the weather so I'm fortunate to not gone to get some in a while. I called my pickup order since I didn't see an online option. The store front is Ichi Ramen so it's confusing in case you get lost in the busy plaza. I ordered shrimp, fish and plain porridge (congee) along with beef chow fun. 4 dishes total. Total came out to under $60 and it was a heavy bag! The porridge has a nice thick consistency without being runny. It had flavor to not need seasoning and surprisingly large portions of seafood. The chow fun was decent but I've definitely tasted better. Kinda pricy at $18 though the beef slices were big. I appreciated it wasn't as oily as other chow fun I've had so easy to eat without feeling kinda gross after. Solid value, good food, and worth a rec for porridge. All in all, I'd definitely return. 4.5 stars.

For some proteins, it is advisable to get an extra bowl to remove the protein as it will overcook in the crazy hot congee. The sliced beef congee comes out perfect so they must either add it to the hot congee rare or even raw so it ends up cooking perfectly. The friend Chinese donut was crispy and airy, slightly oily so fryer oil may have needed to be hotter and fry cook need to slow down and let oil temp recover. Place does get busy quick and may need to wait for a table though.
