I got my nails done here today with a couple of my friends. I'm not sure who did my nails but she did not do a good job. This was the most painful manicure I have ever received. She was extremely rough when filing my acrylics. It felt like my nails were going to rip off!! Then when she was using the electric drilling tool to buff and file my nails more, she would continuously hit my skin around my nails with the tool, and even after I would pull away and say ow, she didn't even say sorry and would keep doing it just as aggressive and careless. She also didn't listen to what I wanted. I told her I wanted natural acrylics. These are long and even somewhat coffin shaped. I also asked for them to be thin, which of course, they are extremely thick. Finally, two of my acrylic nails are crooked. They turn towards the left slightly. This is the best part about it all, when I asked her to fix all of these things, she looked at me and ignored me!! Actually this may be the best part of it all, when I paid, she didn't not give me change. I realized after I left so I came back to get my change, and she had pulled out the extra money that should have been my change out of her pocket. She tipped herself! One of my friends liked her nails which is great, my other friend and I had a horrible experience. Love my nail color, don't love anything else. read more

I have never been to this place before today, and will not return. I went in for coffin shaped ombré nails and they told me to come back tomorrow because no one that was there could do them. I needed my nails done for my birthday so I just decided to go with something different. I got "coffin" nails with just one gel polish and an accent nail. The lady that was doing my nails made me bleed on one finger and then she filed down WAAAY to much right next to my cuticle making it very painful ! My nails do not look like the coffin shape at all and the gel isn't evenly coated. I also have so much acrylic underneath my nails. I will stick to my nail salon that is an extra 10 minutes away , I'm never disappointed over there. read more

I am super impressed by their hygiene, especially compared to every other nail salon I've been to. They change the sander/nail file heads with every customer. Holly did my nails and she was super kind and conversational! They turned out great and they guarantee them for 3 days incase a nail isn't the way u like it or if they break. They also have you put on these disposable gloves that have the tips of the fingers cut off for you to wear when you put your hands under the UV purple light. She said it's mean to protect your hands from long term exposure or the UV light so they don't get wrinkled. Overall, I'm very impressed and would recommend to a friend. My favorite nail salon! For the last few months, I've been jumping around salons around the Brea/Diamond Bar area because I've been having horrible experiences with gel nails. My nail technician was very careful and detail-oriented with filing and buffing my nails, since most people I've dealt with would be super rough. Also, there was neither air bubbles nor bumps on my nails, which I was pleased about because this was a common issue Ive always had! The gel mani was $25 as well, which is an amazing deal! Acrylics didn't last as long as I'd hoped. Sad face. After about a week, they started coming up in the back and getting caught on my hair, pulling it out. My nails never do that, so I was pretty upset. I only want to go every 3 weeks for fills, so longevity really is the winning point for me. read more

Got my nails done three days ago with Holly. The salon was extremely clean but on a Sunday, I was one of only two customers. I guess that should have been a warning sign. Prices are standard for what it is - I paid about 55 including tip for gel nails and pedicure. However, only 3 days later and my gel nails have already started coming apart.. like literally all the sides are starting to show and flake. I think it was because of the many layers she layered on but I am so unhappy with where it is only 3 days in! In addition, she accidentally cut my finger and it started bleeding which is not a huge issue for me since these things happen but with the quality of the finished product, I can't help but wonder if she put in care in my nails at all. In addition, some of my toe nails had to be redone twice because the lady smudged it a couple of times.. I got home and you can still see some of the streaks. Given how many places are available in the nearby area, I will most likely not go back. Update: 4 days later, the gel color on two nails came off. So unimpressed read more

As with all my reviews... this is one you have to read. Visited Friday 02.03.17 5:45 PM. I called ahead for an appointment. I came here because it is near my new place and had good reviews. I wanted to get rainbow/holographic/chrome type nails. The place is modern and clean. The staff is nice. They offer you tea or water. Now to tell you what really matters. I came to get a gel manicure. She told me the pricing before having them done which I appreciated. When I saw how much extra it was for the rainbow powder I was surprised, but never having the rainbow powder I didn't know how much other places charged. I wasn't leaving without getting what I came for, so I decided to just pay the extra $20 for all my nails to have the rainbow powder. They also allow you to come back after 3 days if your nails are chipped. I guess that's nice, but I do have a life... so it would be best if they just did it right the first time. I asked her to trim my nails very little. She did not trim them, she pretty much cut my nail off. And once one gets cut short, the rest have to be the same too. So I just let her cut the rest. Later when I really looked at them all my nails were uneven and shaped differently. I asked her to fix a few, but was still unhappy when I got home. They take their time here and seem like they do care about making your nails the way you want. But, I really did not feel like they really clean your nails much better than I can do at home. They just cut your cuticles and that's pretty much it. They give you a lame hand and forearm massage. They put gloves on your hands when you cure your nails under the light, but honestly why is their light so hot? This is not a tanning salon. I have never ever experienced a hot light. They cure the gel on the nails many times which is of quality work. Only to find when I got home after washing my hair all the tips of my nails showed the underlying purple polish meaning the edges were not cured. And one week later, the edges on all sides of my nails show the underlying purple polish. Price for gel manicure is average for nail salons. But for the rainbow powder is extremely overpriced, which I found out after taking my friend to another salon to get the same exact nails as I do. Its normally $5 extra for ALL 10 FINGER NAILS for rainbow powder. Also, someone wrote they have a lot rainbow/holographic/chrome colors here, they don't. Gel Manicure $25 Rainbow Powder for 10 Finger Nails $20 (seriously? -__- ) Overall, the place is clean and the staff is nice. Their work is not great and is over priced. I have been to many other salons that charge half the price and do a better job. My nails look cool at first glance, but when I look closely they aren't worth $45. I will not return and do not recommend. Sorry, not sorry. *Update: If I could give this a star more without compromising how I really feel about my experience I would, only because the owner promptly messaged me about my review, which I really appreciate. I've been here twice already! I really enjoy spending time with Holly and Danny. My first experience was great. Danny is very meticulous with his work. I really enjoyed how my nails turned out. I would ONLY do my nails with Holly or Danny. I am only giving them 5 stars based on my experience with Danny and Holly. My second experience was overall good with great customer service as usual, but my gel manicure was terrible. I forgot the name of the lady who did my manicure, but the gel was uneven and she was really messy with her work. I wanna start my review by saying that the owner and employees are really nice, hence why I came back to give them a second chance after seeing how poor the quality of their work was. The first time I came here was for a holographic coffin shaped nails. It was done by a guy who no longer works there, named Jason. It was bumpy, uneven and also chipped after the first day. Yes, they have a policy where you could come back to get retouched after 3 days of getting it done at their salon. However, if I'm paying $55 for my nails it better be perfect from the get go and last AT LEAST a week. Plus, it's inconvenient to go back and forth every time. I went anyways cuz I wasn't happy with my nails and it chipped again a day after the repair. Fast forward, last Sunday, I was looking at other nail salons and yet came across this one again on yelp. People are saying the owner's mom, holly is really meticulous and praised her work. I thought I should give them a second chance. Anyway, she's the boss's mom, she can't mess up right? So I made an appointment for Monday (yesterday). She worked on my nails and listened to me for sure. The nails were not bumpy, but the same thing happened. I didn't even go to work yesterday and washed my hands very minimally, but today I woke up with chipped nails all over. I have posted the pics if you'd like to see. No, I won't be back. Tried this place out since I just moved to the area and my old go to place is now 40 minutes away.. I made an appointment on a Tuesday early afternoon and to my surprise, they did not have a single customer even though all the Yelp reviews I read suggested that I make an appointment since it gets busy. I wanted a basic pedicure with callus removal. The lady who did my nails was RUDE. What bugged me was that the whole time she was removing the "callus" skin off the bottom of my feet, she made a disgusted face, as if it was truly disgusting. I mean this is your job lady! I haven't gotten a pedicure in a few months so I came specifically to make my feet look nicer! She sure didn't make me feel good. Then she pushes me to get a deluxe pedicure because she says that the bottom of my feet were really bad and it would help. The only difference between the deluxe and regular is that the deluxe includes a massage so how in the world does that help!? She also mentioned something about how she works hard to feed her family as if I should give her an extra tip. Wtf? I ended up tipping a bit generously but I don't think I'll be back. AND in the end, she didn't do a very good job with the callous removal... The person I presumed was the owner is very nice though...only reason for the 3 stars. I've been coming here since it was CP nails and I was always pretty happy with how my nails turned out, but last week I got a fresh new set of acrylics and the next day I noticed my finger started to turn green and even had pus start coming out. I've been soaking it in hydrogen peroxide but it hasn't healed very much. I'm assuming the only way I could have got this infection was from dirty tools. I will not be coming back. read more

I got my nails done by Kathy, I don't know how long she's been working here but I've never had my nails done by her. Holly did a great job at fixing my nails that had been done elsewhere and were too thick and the shape was not what I asked for. Holly thinned them down and reshaped them to my satisfaction. My facial was amazing! I suffer from rosacea and Christina listen to my concerns explained to me what she was going to do and why. She used an oatmeal mask to sooth my face and gently removed it taking her time. My face felt so good and help with the redness. I can't wait to do the Blaiding eyebrow tattoo. I recently got a facial at the Glen Ivy a few weeks back. Everything was okay until the esthetician decided it was okay to add BB cream and Translucent powder to my face. As a finishing touch (um u just clog my face and reverse the whole point in my facial). Found Christine through Instagram and decided to give it another shot. Since my skin just didn't feel right with the weather being so hot than cold every other week. My face just needed another pamper treatment. Let me tell you my rejuvenated facial went so well and comfortable. My face felt so smooth and fresh afterward. Minus a few red spot from the extraction. Which is normal but I still bare my face all day without makeup. I was so satisfy in my own skin, I didn't even bother to attempt to add concealer for my under eyes dark circle. All staff members here are soooo patient,respectful, and caring for their customers.. you can tell when they are doing your nails that they take pride in what they do and want you to be happy with their work.
