I wanted to get my hair dyed, because I have a lot of grays in the front of my hair, and was getting my hair braided 2 weeks after I was to get my hair dyed. Her response: I'm at the counter getting ready to pay. If this was years ago I would if most likely cussed her out. After I spoke to her in a respectful tone, not sassy at all. Because I've learned that even if someone is wrong talking to them like that makes them feel justified to dismiss you and respond rudely. I expressed how unhappy I was with all the services and her expression was like "bitch and?" Like she had no remorse and could give 2 shits. Aftermath: She must of used the cheapest hair dye product! I was later told it had too much alcohol in it. My scalp itched for the entire 2 weeks and I had to cancel my braiding appointment and had to purchase several scalp products to relive the itching. It was horrible I was in agony. She should lose your license, period.

They greeted us immediately upon entering and made us comfortable. We had requested the spa pedi so once escorted to the pedi area and seated, we were given a lovely glass of sparkling wine. Since Mother's Day is coming up, we were also given pink roses. Michelle and Anna did the pedicures. They were excellent techs and chatted with us throughout the whole pedi. Before I even had a chance to sit down, I was asked to show my nail design. I showed a photo of a colorful, detailed set I wanted for my birthday--each nail with a different sardine design. Instead of discussing it or offering options, the nail tech immediately shook her head and said "no, too busy," implying it would take too long. I was willing to wait and pay for the service (and tip), but after sitting there another 20 minutes, the owner herself looked at my design and said it would take too long. She even exaggerated that if she did my nails, they'd be there until 9pm--despite the salon closing at 7 and my appointment being at 5. The owner also asked if I had a simpler backup design I'd be willing to do. I didn't--I came in for a specific birthday set. At that point, I decided to leave. What was supposed to be a fun girls day turned into a frustrating experience, and my sister also chose not to get her service because of how things were handled. I understand being busy, but the way this was handled felt dismissive and unprofessional. If certain designs can't be accommodated, that should be communicated clearly when booking--not after the customer arrives and waits.

It didn't look too fancy outside but inside looked so angelic and immaculate. It was definitely a vibe inside where I felt like it was fancy. It was a Mommy and Daughter pedicure date and that's what we got. Matching gel pedi with French tips. That cost $57 for the basic. We don't really care much for hot stones and paraffin wax dips. It wasn't busy and the chairs worked. I would say it's the basic standard type nail shops with the Vietnamese aunties. I would definitely come back and see how they do their full sets.

I know her art and nail work is awesome but I think she can do a lot better if she slows down and take her time. I love my 2nd set nails from her. I gave her an inspiration example of what I wanted. She do business so expected you to know what color you wanted from her book. She doesn't really help or guide you what to get even if you show her an example. No one is perfect but by far, i know she's still my favorite nail tech so far.
