Went to breakfast yesterday with a group of 8. The server & other staff managed us well, quickly seating us, getting us drinks and taking our order. My order was complicated--since they didn't make what I wanted, I asked them to recreate it--and they obliged (yea, I'm that customer). The pancakes were huge, the eggs were all amazing, and the service was friendly and prompt. We'll be back! One recommendation: if you offer the Parmesan eggs with pesto instead of salsa on top, that would be pretty amazing! read more

Got here for dinner right about 5pm on a Saturday night, seated right away. We ordered the half baguette & chicken wings for appetizers. The bread was amazing. I did not have any wings but my Son said they were good. All of our meals were delicious, good sized servings and fair pricing. We will be back again. horrible service, ordered a strawberry lemonade, beer and a martini. the waiter came back and said the lemonade is "yucky" and asked if we wanted something else. I then heard him go in back and ask if there was any lemonade then came back and said they actually have it. Literally waited 10 minutes for the beer. in that time they didn't even come to take our food order, I told them I just wanted to pay for the lemonade so we could leave, they wouldn't even let us do that, they finally wanted to get me the drinks and I told them no were leaving, so they went to get the owner instead and he asks what's wrong and threw the money on table and left. they are so very slow even if there is nobody dining there. read more

Been three times, got good food twice. Servers were great all three visits, I appreciate that...however the bleu cheese had green mold growing on it...yeah gross. My burger really tasted like green mold, and that very bad flavor lingered a while. Restaurants should not buy bleu cheese in bulk, it always goes bad before it runs out. Considering the fairly high prices they charge here, they should be able to spend a little more on fresher ingredients. This should not have happened. Two stars because the service was good, and i enjoyed two of my visits. Let me begin with this: I will NEVER again allow yelp reviews to divert me from trying a new restaurant. Since their opening, saying I was hesitant to give them a go would be an understatement. Review after review filled with dissatisfied encounters only puts a place like E Bar Grill on your "do not visit" list; however, last night, I decided to give them a chance (despite all the poor reviews) and they proved themselves worthy of my patronage. Upon entering it didn't take but 5 seconds before we were greeted with a wholesome smile and a "I'll be right there to get you seated!" by one of the waiters. During our time waiting, we were able to take a look around at the great work they've put in to remodeling and revamping the interior of the building. Too often do new businesses take over a long existing business' location and do little or nothing about making it their own, with their own identity and vibe. E Bar Grill is E Bar Grill not Sully's in the slightest. Shortly after taking in the ambiance of the place, the hostess (who was a very kind lady) sat us down, gave us menus, and welcomed us to the establishment, for we'd mentioned that it was our first time coming in. Mere moments later, a cordial young chap by the name of Caleb took our beverage and food order. When I mispronounced the burger I chose to order he humorously remarked at how he didn't know how to pronounce half the things on the menu before he'd been trained extensively on what everything was and how to pronounce it. Kudos to the lad for doing that. It made me feel all the more comfortable with not only him as our waiter but the establishment in its entirety. Now, what you review readers actually want to hear about, THE FOOD... Well, firstly, the wait. Our wait time was only 20 minutes with a decent amount of people dining before us. Every booth had been filled as well as 3-4 tables, and half of the stools at the bar were occupied to boot. Not "slammed" but busy, nonetheless. This was a Friday night at 6 p.m. by the way. When our food arrived, I was immediately impressed with the portion and presentation of the quinoa salad that came with one of our burgers. It not only looked appetizing but it was scrumptious! An excellent alternative to french fries or sweet potato fries. All being other options that go with their burgers. Both burgers were exceptionally tasty, well cooked, and they exceeded our expectations in quality and proportion. After reading so many mixed reviews, my husband and I went to E Bar with much hesitation. The first two visits offered well prepared food and mixed service levels. Everything was good enough to get us to return a third time. On our third and last visit we decided this place was not really worth returning to. My burger was ordered medium, and was served well done, almost burnt. The outside rim of the burger was so over cooked and tough that I could not eat those parts. That is a huge pet peeve of mine. Don't ask me how I want my burger prepared if you cannot follow through. My second pet peeve is inconsistency. Over our three visits, we experienced various levels of food quality/ preparation and various levels of service. We had one server who was a seasoned pro and made our visit memorable. But we also had a few awkward servers who made our interactions pretty cringe worthy. They have kinks to work out and training/ coaching opportunities. They set up a large party for me (25 adults +kids) in just over a day. The service was spectacular, from the person who called to make sure our tables had enough seats & high chairs to the waitstaff and especially our waitress, yes one waitress for our group. She was attentive, funny and earned every bit of her tip (too often in Redmond our group has met the server who knows they are getting the mandatory gratuity for lrg parties and gives no effort) The food was good, and arrived quickly considering the party size, I Had a crusted chicken. Everyone around me enjoyed their meals as well. The only complaint was one gal ordered a burger with no cheese (severely lactose intolerant) the burger arrived with cheese and when she pointed out the mistake the kitchen scraped off the cheese (there was obviously still some there) and sent it back out :( We will absolutely be back & hope for the same awesome waitress! read more

The other table near us had to go get their own forks and plates and then their own to go box and shook their head. Took almost sitting for 40 minutes to get her to come take our food order and that was only because we made eye contact until she motioned you need another drink and we said no food. With limited options in Redmond, we've tried to love eBar Grill despite our feeling that their prices greatly exceed their offerings. However, after many visits, today was our last. Hit-or-miss service + hit-or-miss menu items + higher-than-average prices = fail for us. Today we were seated on the patio, 1 of 3 tables, and ended up walking out after receiving no service - not even asking after our drink order - while we spent 15+ minutes watching the 2 waiters (and 1 host) provide service to the other 2 tables plus the additional 3 tables that were seated after us ... a greeting stop, a drink order stop, then a food order stop for each. All while we sat, watching, with menus down. If I'm going to spend $50 on drinks and lunch, I'm going to spend it at a Redmond business that has their service together, and offers consistency with fair prices. read more

We are food snobs from Bend. This place is great! My wife and I have been in to watch football at the bar and the burgers were too-notch and truly "gourmet".....great bread, grass fed beef to order (NOT Sysco medium well slabs). The second time we came here, we both had the linguini with citrus white wine pasta sauce...not the pasty mushy sludge that lesser quality restaurants serve up...the linguini was perfectly al Dente, the tomatoes were perfectly cooked and the pasta had a very tart and balanced citrus bite to it. On top of this, the service was prompt, friendly and appropriate. Long story short...this place deserves your patronage! You can't go wrong! read more

We are new in town, and thought we would try this place for Father's Day. It was practically empty, which should have been our first clue. The waiter was nice enough (kind of awkward), but the food took forever to arrive. My husband had fish & chips which weren't bad. I had the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. This was the strangest grilled chicken I have ever seen and decided not to eat it (it was dark and chewy - yuck). The pizza was okay - nothing special. I agree with the others that this place doesn't know what it wants to be. The sign outside makes it look upscale, and the entrance does too. But the tables are a more old school coffee shop feel. eBar Grill has potential, but I hope they realize it before people are scared to come back. Great service, great food! We went here for happy hour and we're not disappointed! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the pork was perfectly cooked and season! The bun was fresh and melted in my mouth! I also ordered the cheese curds which were perfectly cooked and delicious! The salad was topped with a Marion berry balsamic dressing which was a perfect blend of tart and sweet! Very refreshing! I will definitely be going back! We love going to eBar grill & eating outside on the beautiful deck. We've only been for breakfast (sun mornings usually) but must say E bar grill is by far the best breakfast in Redmond!!! We recommend trying the crab Benedict or the chicken fried steak. Sure the prices are somewhat higher in comparison to what else is available locally but the caliber of food here is truly 5 stars & beyond compare. read more

Impressive place! Went for happy hour to watch some hockey and check it out. Staff was wonderfully awesome and friendly. Happy hour menu was big and our food was so damn delicious. Had Halibut Nuggets (which were fresh and much larger than we expected) and the Calamari. Mmmm mmm good! Great food, family environment, fun music. Breakfast (weekends only) is DELISH! Cost is pretty average, but you get a lot for your money. We've eaten here for every meal of the day and try something different each time. Everything has been full of flavor and good sized portions. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. I really want to like this place. We went once when they first opened and the food was subpar for the price. We tried it again this week, hoping it had improved. The atmosphere in the deck was nice- music and traffic cancelled each other out and tables were spaced out (barely) but since we were outside it was fine. Service was fairly prompt but jigging to get excited about. The food was ok- my foodie tween got a bacon burger and fries- delish. The teen also got a burger- said it was ok, nothing special (we make pretty mean burgers at home). Husband and I got salads. They sounded good, but arrived wilted and somewhat boring as well as a little over dressed with not-house-made-dressing. My uncle got a quesadilla and soup. Been here quite a few times in the last 2 years, and been fairly impressed until recently. Totally disappointed the last 2 times. The food is always good, drinks ok( a little on the weak side ), but the service is really bad. The wait staff is very unattentive and border line rude.The last time I was there the waiter didn't even acknowledge our presence for a full 15 or twenty minutes , and then was very unapologetic after finally coming over to the table and asking for our drink choices. My business partner and I had almost ( and probably should have) left at that point. The service didn't improve any the rest of the meal either. The time before that , my girl friend and I were there for dinner ,and were almost completely ignored by the waitress . ( Along with 1 or 2 other couples I observed ) She spent almost the entire time we were there chatting at a couples table she was obviously aquainted with, while pretty much ignoring every one else. Surprise they have great breakfasts! In addition you can have a morning drink....ie...a mimosa, bloody mary. Used to be my favorite, fun spot to take my wife for a brew and bite. Lately there are a group of 4 guys that are so loud as to make any normal conversation in the bar area impossible. They think they know more than the coaches and players who are performing on any of the 6 TV's hanging on the walls and their hooting and hollering at every play only gets louder the more alcohol they consume. And the same group is there every night. Only good thing is that they disappear near 6P when Happy Hour shuts down. Sorry E..I won't be back. read more

I finally found a good vegetarian burger in Central Oregon!!! It seems everywhere only has black bean burgers if any. This burger is quinoa and black bean but it's not the Southwest tasting black bean burger if that makes sense. Fries are amazing, ranch is amazing, got a good portion of avocado that was actually perfectly ripe, green leaf lettuce, two tomatoes and a good portion of onions. It's really not often you get a healthy burger with a generous amount of fresh veggies. Mary, our waitress was also so sweet. Husband got the pulled pork sandwich and practically inhaled it. Loved the fries so much he finished mine and our son's. Our son liked his mini cheeseburger too. So excited to have a great restaurant to go to in Redmond! read more

Never again! Rude owners, they ruined my brand new jeans and flipped me attitude about it. I have eaten here about a half dozen times. Last Saturday we went out for breakfast. The table had just been wiped down with a bleach sanitizer so strong the smell made my eyes water. When I sat down I realized the seat was also soaking wet. I was wearing a brand new pair of dark jeans. While in the restroom I looked in the mirror and realized the fabric of my jeans had gotten bleached! I mentioned it to the owner, only because I thought I was helping by pointing out a serious problem. He immediately gave me attitude and said, "What, so you want me to buy you a new pair of pants?" I said, no, I was just trying to point out a problem so you could fix it. He said, bring the pants in and if there was any damage he would pay for them because he wanted to "make it right." I was impressed! I came back with the jeans, the tags, and the receipt ($69.95, purchased only 3 days earlier.) After a long wait, his wife came over, and he joined in shortly after. What a HUMILIATING and horrible experience! His wife started by telling me they were low quality jeans made of cheap fabric. Then she said that if it was bleach there would be white spots. I tried to point out the area of lightened fabric was an almost perfect square from where I sat. (Look at the pics and decide for yourself!) He said that he had said he would pay for them if they were "ruined", and he thought they clearly weren't, so he wasn't going to pay for them. He said, "No one will even notice." THEN he said, get this!, "Everyone wants something for nothing." Excuse me? They made such a scene that several employees walked over to see what the problem was. I could see that things were only going to get worse, so I apologized for wasting their time and politely left (with my ruined jeans!). Besides this horrible experience, some other observations: The first several times we ate outside because the dining room had a definite bad smell. (Musty? Stale?) Cleanliness is a serious issue. One of the times we ate there the table next to us had food stains and spills on the tablecloth from the night before (or longer!). The ceiling fans are disgusting and have gunk and dust built up that they are constantly blowing around. The bathrooms are dirty. Atmosphere is lacking. The big open dining room feels more like a cafeteria for all the privacy or ambiance it provides. No kid's breakfast menu. The first 2 times my daughter ordered a kid pancake she got a mickey mouse pancake with berry eyes, a chocolate chip smile, and whipped cream. The next time we ordered a kid pancake she got a plain round pancake. Huh? The happy hour menu gets high reviews but I wouldn't know, because if you come in with kids forget it - they won't honor the happy hour menu unless you sit in the bar. Service is friendly but sometimes very slow. One time I waited almost 15 minutes for a bloody mary, and by the time it finally came I was already done with my breakfast. To be fair, we have been mostly satisfied with the food. One time I ordered a burger that was way too rare for how I ordered it, and there was the disappointment with the kid's pancake that was just a plain pancake. Prices are a bit high. I was excited about the $5 mimosas with breakfast but they are so small it should really be a $2.50 mimosa. In conclusion, they have some really good cooks and servers, but I have serious reservations about cleanliness standards. My biggest problem is that the owners are total jerks. I do NOT want "something for nothing"...we are a working-class family with a single income. We have worked really hard for everything we have. For us, eating out is a treat, one which we can rarely afford. These owners are rude, humiliating, and have terrible customer service skills. I refuse to spend our hard earned money at a place owned by people like this. I will take my business to a friendly, local establishment where I feel good about spending our hard-earned money! read more

This used to be our favorite place. NO MORE! Went in and the place was packed. No social distancing. That's not my complaint though. My complaint is that they did not allow my sister and I to stand together while we were waiting to be called to a table. We explained to the staff that we lived together but they just apologized and told us that we could not be together. Even during phase one Brown's orders stated that family members do NOT have to social distance. Strangers sitting in booths back to back yet two sisters can't stand together? E Bar's food is excellent with a nice variety and great beer on tap. We went to eat there Saturday night. Ended up leaving, going to Diego's. The male host, middle age, was incredibly rude to my son and daughter-in-law, as he arranged for a table. He is downright surly. Another family left when we did, after witnessing his attitude. We have encountered him before..... wondering if he is the owner? We spent 190 dollars st Diego's and were welcomed in a lovely manner, as always. We'd love to see E Bar stay in Redmond, but we won't eat there when he is hosting. read more
