This used to be our favorite place. NO MORE! Went in and the place was packed. No social distancing. That's not my complaint though. My complaint is that they did not allow my sister and I to stand together while we were waiting to be called to a table. We explained to the staff that we lived together but they just apologized and told us that we could not be together. Even during phase one Brown's orders stated that family members do NOT have to social distance. Strangers sitting in booths back to back yet two sisters can't stand together? We will NOT be back! read more

E Bar's food is excellent with a nice variety and great beer on tap. We went to eat there Saturday night. Ended up leaving, going to Diego's. The male host, middle age, was incredibly rude to my son and daughter-in-law, as he arranged for a table. He is downright surly. Another family left when we did, after witnessing his attitude. We have encountered him before..... wondering if he is the owner? We spent 190 dollars st Diego's and were welcomed in a lovely manner, as always. We'd love to see E Bar stay in Redmond, but we won't eat there when he is hosting. read more

Tonight we both enjoyed the whiskey flat iron special. It was lovely!

I've been to a lot of steakhouses around the country and the flatiron steak I had here was the best, not to mention the au grautin potatoes! The restaurant was clean and the waitress came to our table just to chat for a few minutes and gave us a short history of the restaurant and also told us where they source their local beef. It was a Saturday night of the Sisters Rodeo weekend and the place wasn't even crowded. Will definitely go there again our next trip to Redmond! read more

Great place for happy hour! Try the special basil martini, it's great. The servers are friendly and attentive. My husband had the prime rib and said "it was the best in the world"!!! read more

The food was excellent and the service was great! I will defiantly go back when I'm in the area. The atmosphere was good too.

For the prices at this restaurant I expected more. The description of the "steamers" sounded wonderful - however the presentation and flavor was mediocre at best and they were so sandy I couldn't even eat them. I ordered the meatloaf which was boring and the gravy was super salty. My husband ordered the chicken pasta which was also boring. Not sure I will i be back with so many options out there!!!! read more

Wish I could rate this according to the food as the burgers there are wonderful. This place does a good business so let's put some alcohol in the drinks (so weak) and get the bar staff to check the tables more frequently. We've been there twice lately and can't get good service. Won't go back for awhile. Just frustrating. read more

Tonight I tried E BarGrill for the 1st time, and was compelled to write a review since my experience was the usual. Pros - Nice atmosphere and decor, very Central Oregon like. - Was seated right away (5pm, Sun night) - Ordered Tuna Melt, which was really quite good, a little spicy though - Ice Tea - Prices were not high, not low, pretty average. My bill came to $17 w/o tip. - During my time there, the server came by twice to ask if I needed anything. Cons - The waitress was neutral, not really friendly, mostly business like. Yes, I like a pleasant interaction over a "I'm paid to talk to you" experience. - I was 20' from the open doorway into the kitchen and could observe quite a bit that was going on in there. I could hear the manager swearing at an employee telling them not to do something. - Sit down for this one: I watched my server preparing someone's salad, pulling lettuce out of the refrigerator and putting it into the bowl it would be served in. Not so bad you say? SHE WAS USING HER BARE HANDS! Not only that, the plastic shield she was wearing to protect others from the virus, was flipped up to the back of her head. Unbelievable!!!!!!! - I waited a very long time for the server to come pick up my bill and cc for payment even though she passed by me many times. I would image I waited at least 20 minutes after my plates were removed and the payment was picked up. - When the bill was placed on my table, when I opened the folder there was a 12" long hair laying right on top of my bill. OH YUCK!! I won't be back! read more

Great food, my favorite is the $6 ebar burger on the happy hour menu. I always ask for it medium rare and it comes out perfect every time. Pizza here is good, salads are excellent as is the pasta and seafood. The bar and bar tables could use more electrical outlets for those who need to charge their phones. This place attracts more of a local retiree crowd but is fun and usually doesn't get too rowdy unless it's Monday night football. Oh yeah and the locals secret is $5 pitchers on the weekend...yes that's right $5 = 1 pitcher of beer. It might not be a full size pitcher BUT it's about 2.5 pints so it's a solid deal if your looking to hang out and relax. read more

If you have friends, and want to meet up somewhere for happy hour, don't come here. Even with tables available, they will force you into the dining room where the happy hour menu is not available. read more

My husband realized last night he could not find his wallet, last place he used it was at MCD in Redmond. Today was our last day in Redmond so we headed into town to see if MCD had his wallet, nope. The air in one of the tires in our new Jeep was low so we went to Fred Meyer for gas and air. The air machine was not working properly and we spent $5 filling the tire, at this point my husband was ready for a drink on a patio with some lunch. The day before we drove around old town Redmond and notice a couple spots that looked interesting so we headed back through olde town and stopped at a place we had noticed the day before. We were seated on the patio, me in the sun and my husband in the shade, per his request! Everyone was so friendly and we received A service. I had a bay shrimp cocktail, nothing too adventurous and my husband the Hummus plate. The fact that they had my favorite beer, Michelob Ultra was a plus for me, but the fact that the Hummus was so fresh and creamy gave BarGrill 5 stars. They make their Hummus from scratch daily. The restaurant is pet friendly! read more

I love this place! I bring my friends here and they are always happy too! I prefer a diet that is plant based, wheat-free, with absolutely no dairy due to a milk allergy. They are very good about this, and do not seem to mind. I recommend: The Veggie Platter, and the Quinoa Burger(Note: its always best to tell the wait person of any special dietary needs) Ive also had the salmon in the past and it was excellent. My friends have raved about everything they get here! By their reviews I recommend: The Salmon, Chicken,Meat loaf, Prime Rib, and Prime Rib Soup. The bar is nice with big screens for games, the restaurant and patio is nice. Everything that I have to say about this place is Great! Its a favorite!!! I definitely recommend EBar! :) . read more

First timers and let the waitress know that. Expectations would say prove your restaurant to newcomers so they come back right? Didn't seem the case here. Waitress had one table, an older woman, and yet she managed to bring us a completely different meal. Even though she pointed to our order, we pointed to it and she reiterated it, she still got it wrong. One table! Basically we had to wait for them to cook the right meal. With a two year old, rather difficult. Anyways... No apologies or acknowledgment. Food wasn't even worth the price. No chance we will go back. read more

Great service. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food could have been better. The "dragon" wings were not spicy and fairly bland. The beer selection was good. Something for everyone. read more

I have to give the owner, Eric, and his staff a huge shout-out as they've taken over the number 1 restaurant in Redmond spot in my book. I am totally blown-away by the quality of the food they're putting out these days. A $3 happy hour salad blew my mind for it's freshness and how many goodies were on it. I don't know the story with their Honey Mustard Dressing but dang was it delicious...ditto for the croutons. If a restaurant can get the little things right, you know the big things are going to be spot-on. Happy hour is a heck of a bargain but the rest of their menu is competitive price-wise with food trucks. I totally recommend giving them a try -- and, ask to meet the owner, he's a heck of guy (a local!) who has poured his heart & soul into the place. read more

I wanted to Love this place, but was disappointed. All four of our dishes were over-cooked arrived a long long time after we ordered them and were covered with so much sauce that it no longer complemented the dish. The servers were disorganized - we started with one server helping us, getting our drinks and then taking our order but another server kept showing up a few minutes after the first one trying to first take our drink order and later our dinner order. The food took an hour to arrive after we placed our order. We were given no bread or chips to snack on while we waited. We had the salmon, the chicken and the steak -- all were over cooked. If they cooked the meals less and delivered them sooner it would be a win win. Hope they make the necessary changes. read more

We stopped in yesterday for lunch to check out the new place in town. We will never go back. My husband and I shared a french dip sandwich, the bun was not toasted and there was nothing on it other than very dry tasteless roast beef, for $14 dollars we expected much more. Our son ordered the pretzel, it was so hard he could barely eat it. I sure hope that they listen to the feed back and make the changes that need to happen or this place wont be around long. read more

We went to EBar on a Saturday for lunch. The food was amazing and the service was great!! I have no idea what the other reviewers are taking about with the food being okay. I had the Ranchero burger and I usually eat only half and save the other have for later but I ate the entire thing because it was so good. My husband got the Reuben and he said it was the best Reuben he has had in Central Oregon. My two boys split the pizza and said it was also very good. They use beef from the northwest and their bison is from Powell Butte. My family and I will be back again for sure!! read more

Wow...just wow. Made reservations on a weekday party of 4. 3 people in the place took 10 Minutes to get seated...? Went to the bar (3 customers in the bar) to order a drink while I waited for the rest of my party, bartender walks out of the bar... "Be back in a few..." Never returned. Back at my table server walked by 6 times never offered a drink...nothing... nada. Finally got to ordering Server didn't bring appetizer forever..."wanted to wait until your dinner came" ...huh?? Met the owner, does not make customers feel like he is happy you're there, super uptight, unfriendly definitely gives the impression that customers are an inconvenience. 2 hours for dinner and dessert. Ridiculous!!! On the upside the food is good. Too bad the owner is so arrogant that he can't see past his own reflection in the bar. Hurry and go soon - they won't be open much longer. read more

Went last night on a date with my bride and to hear the band. I hope the bar tender was "having an off night" but I think that is just his personality. Poor service, grumpy bar tender, the worst calamari I have ever tried and everything over-priced. $35 for artichoke dip, calamari, one beer and one mixed drink. The bar tender asked the acoustic band to turn it down, which they did. It was hard to hear them over the bar noise, and we were sitting next to the band! read more

Great food and service, patio is a perfect spot to eat and drink with friends! Steaks, ribs, pizzas, burgers, pastas... literally all amazing. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat. Service has really improved according to past reviews, delightfully impressed each time I've dined there! read more

Great burger at EBar! I am gluten free they have gluten free buns and the BEST burger. Hubby had a Cobb salad and that was so good too. Lots of egg, cheese, bacon, chicken and avocado and blue cheese. Definitely a good place to have dinner and lunch. Service was really good as well. read more

Great food but painfully slow service. 15 min to take our order (almost left) and 40 min for food. Staff seemed scattered all over and we had to ask several different people for water, coffee and even silverware. The only reason for 3 stars was the good food. Would have been one without that. Would likely pass in the future... read more

Another bad experience at E Grill not going back if I can help it. We told the waitress when she took our order we had limited time as we were going to a concert. The couple we were with only ordered appetizers, we ordered a burger and meatloaf dinner. Nothing complicated! Well 45 min later we still didn't have food ! When she brought mine I told her to just put it in a to go box no time to eat it. Instead she gave me 2 little doggie boxes. Very disgusted ! read more

Amazing food!! Try the Marian berry pancakes, fluffy and not to sweet but loaded with fresh berries!! CAN YOU SAY YUMMMM!!!

I don't care what the reviews say before trying a new place to eat. I am always hopeful and want new businesses to succeed in Redmond. With that said, my salad was good and my husbands sweet potato fries were good. However, my Halibut Sandwich was greasy and tasteless and my Husbands hamburger was dry and tasteless as well. The Staff was very friendly and the food came out of the kitchen in a timely manner. read more

Seeing mixed reviews I was concerned that my mom chose this place for dinner. People were friendly, atmosphere was very nice and all 3 of our meals were delicious. I had the meatloaf it was absolutely wonderful with fresh snap peas. Our waiter was also very nice and attentive. read more

I had a great grilled cheese with fries. It was one of the best meals I have had in a while. For dessert I got the ice cream sundae. The ingredients were vanilla ice cream, mixed berry toppings, caramel, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and toasted hazelnuts. I asked if I can not get the hazelnuts and berry toppings. They did not give what I ordered but it was ok. I would to come back again. read more

Went to E Grill for our first time last night. I read reviews first and was skeptical because reviews were all over the place. We decided to judge for ourselves and we are so glad we did! Server, Loretta, was awesome. Hubs had the Lemon Shrimp pasta dish. Daughter had the Clam Linguini dish and I had the Cowgirl Burger. All three were outstanding! Two things that kept me from giving E Grill 5 stars are as follows: the shrimp cocktail was a disappointment and we had to pay for bread with our meal ($6 for 1/2 a baguette). The bread was absolutely delicious but wish it had come with the meal. My hats off to the bartender; I ordered a gin martini and even though it was well gin, it was superb and only $ 4.50! I haven't seen a martini at that price for 15 years! We WILL return to E Grill! read more

One word for the chef (?) Seasoning! Try it and you may find your food with a little flavor. Snow peas steamed to death. Beyond boring chicken. Rice was so arid I wanted to add my glass of water to it but then I was afraid the waitress would disappear again like she did by plopping our dishes down and leaving without asking if we needed anything else. Would have tried the desserts but I was actually "fed up" with this place. The decor matched the meal and service. From the outside Ebar looks promising and that's as far as you should go. Don't bother walking up the ramp. read more

Really good food, great service. I ordered the Veggie burger... Very impressive. I will definitely be coming back.

We dined during a bad snowstorm, so the restaurant wasn't crowded. Our server seemed attentive and efficient. We ordered cocktails which took about 15 minutes to be delivered by the bartender. We ordered soup, salad and an entree. The soup and salad arrived at the same time and we barely had a few bites and a slurp of soup when our dinners arrived. Very disappointed with this service. The server seemed to think it was OK to serve soup and salad together and then the entree about 3 minutes later. I will think long and hard about going back there, since their prices are not cheap - but I felt like I was dining at McDonald's where all of your food is delivered at once! read more

My aunt says she always intends to try something new but ends up with the halibut fish and chips because they're just so good. Tonight she had the seafood pasta, my wife ordered the bacon bleu balsamic burger. I tried the bison and beef meatloaf with honest mashed potatoes and sugar snap peas. All were excellent and each represented a new take on what might otherwise be run of the mill fare. Dessert was a refreshingly different lemon meringue ice cream pie. Recommended. read more

After avoiding this place for months, we decided to try happy hour. I was surprised to see how nice the bar is, good the food was and the beer was cold. The service was as good as any place else if not better. I will be back. read more

This place has excellent food and really good service! I was hesitant to try it out since they didn't have 5 stars but a friend suggested we go here and I'm so glad we did! I got the chopped chicken salad and it was amazing! It had marionberry balsamic vinaigrette and goat cheese! They said they make everything fresh and you can tell! The quality was good and we will definitely be coming back here! They even have $5 pitchers of beer before 5pm! My New favorite place! read more

Food is really good, had consistently had good service, a bit pricey but the helpings are good size. Would fully recommend this place....Happy Hour and all day 5$ pitchers on Saturday is a good benefit. The Bar area has nice Tv's so its a good place to stop by and catch a game. read more
