Not I. I bought a new sofa at Ikea late last year. For a small fee (under $40), it was delivered. The restaurant on the third floor was a must-visit, but now food is pricier (everywhere, not just here). Still, maybe it's worthwhile for an old-time experience of sitting sit in a department store eating a warm meal in front of those big windows with views of Midtown and other areas of the city. Room for improvement: I think the store should open a little earlier than 11 a.m. on Sundays.

To our surprise, the opening time has changed to 11 AM. We left and came back at 11. Both of us always enjoy the displays that show you what you can do with specific amounts of square footage. The merchandising team at IKEA are so creative, they make use of every bit of space in their examples. IKEA is a huge store, but you can't get lost. All you gotta do is follow the arrows painted on the floor. They're there from start to finish. They'll lead you through; furniture, accessories, housewares, plants and more. When the arrows lead us through the frames and artwork, we got a giggle that they had copies of the Mona Lisa and Starry Night. My favorite area is the housewares, I can always find something that I need in my kitchen. However, on this visit I found a coat tree for my front foyer in the accent furniture area. It's going to be nice to have something to hand my coat on instead of throwing it on the chair. If you need assistance there's always an associate working nearby. As I shopped, I did notice the prices weren't as low as they use to be, but that is the case almost everywhere. However, it's still a good value.

As I am buying an older house, I've been exploring my options for renovations. Ideally, most of the work I do will be done with sustainable materials. Even at Lowe's, Home Depot and Lumber Liquidators, sustainable materials still carry a relatively hefty price tag, and for what? Some of the stuff is questionably sustainable, or less sustainable than another brand. After having my cabinets quoted, countertops quoted and floors quoted, I am confident that Mwanzi can give any of those discount suppliers a run for their money when it comes to sustainable materials. You can rest assured at that every bit of lumber is either reclaimed or Forest Stewardship Council certified. One of the neatest things that they do is to claim local, fallen timber from North St. Louis and have it milled into lumber for their very own cabinet line, "Greenhaus Cabinets". These cabinets are made right here in St. Louis of a number of different woods and appear to be made with the finest hardware and craftsmanship. I will be saving all I can to afford my Greenhaus Cabinets, but I will be incredibly glad that I did. The sheer variety of sustainable countertops and flooring offered at Mwanzi is nearly staggering. For countertops they have Cambria, Caesarstone, Bamboo Butcher block, Squak Mtn. Stone, Richlite and Paperstone. There are many many more options for flooring. I look forward to working with them on every home project I am able to afford. I highly recommend making an appointment to see their showroom (yes, the showroom is by appointment only). Crazy ideas like, what if we buy a vanity ourselves for $500 instead of budgeting $1500 for one they want us to use, were met with annoyance and reasons why that wouldn't work. Long story short, Mike ghosted us. We never heard back from our calls and ultimately ended up using another company to complete our basement project. I wish I could recommend them, but I truly cannot. I get the business end of wanting a certain price so you can turn a certain amount of profit, but ghosting someone is never acceptable and only required a quick call to say "it doesn't sound like we can do business together due to different budgeting priorities ". It left a bad taste in our mouths and that is the story we tell anyone who asks about using Modern Kitchen & Baths.

While I was a little apprehensive at first, I can I am absolutely pleased with my choice . The customer service is unmatched , from the very friendly staff and the owners. One of the owners , Kevin, helped me pick the granite and he promised good customer service . Well, he was not lying , when they installed the granite , I had some concerns of the nature of the stone I picked ..... They took care of me and changed all the granite countertops to something I was pleased with.... This is superb customer service , I ended up being friends with the staff and the owner . All in all, I can't say enough good things on how I was treated . I am not much of a yelper, but I had to download this app specially to write this and wanted this to go on record ,Really impressive ! read more

E & B Granite installed the wrong cut on all my countertops. I tried to get ahold of the owner, Tanya for a week but she never responded. When I finally heard from her, she said it was my mistake and there was nothing that could be done to fix the major problem. Tanya was not there when I ordered and was clueless to what had happened. She has no idea what mistakes her employees are making and makes excuse after excuse for their carelessness! There are plenty of other options for counter tops in St. Louis. Save yourself the headache and go with a more reputable company. I have now moved into my new home and am even more furious with this company. There is a sticky glue like substance all over all my countertops. The quality and attention to detail of this company is a joke! read more

I would highly recommend E@B Granite for your kitchen countertops. From when we first went there to the installment the service was professional , excellent and timely. Nicole our designer was so very patient with us, giving us all the opportunity we needed in choosing our countertops and answering all of our many questions. We finally ended up choosing granite and couldn't be happier with the result ! The time from measurement to install was exactly what they had said. I did granite in the kitchen and quartz in the bathrooms. so glad he talked me into that looks so much better than cultured marble!!! I also did full height backs plash in my kitchen which I highly recommend. Mickey was right! It added so much richness to my kitchen and it is so easy to wipe off when I cook.
