I just wanted to highlight the great experience I had at Floor & Decor. I had gone to several older, established tile shops in the Brentwood area and none of them had the type of large format, patterned tiles I was looking for, like their stock was years out of date. I found it so strange. I went to the Floor & Decor shop on Lemay Ferry Rd. and I was overwhelmed with the selection. I looked around a bit and I eventually spoke with an employee named Walter and he offered to assist me. Walter gave us suggestions, options, and best of all, advice on the tile. I completed a little DIY project to build out a small wine fridge area in our pantry, with intention to match the details in my kitchen. Backsplash for my kitchen came from Floor & Decor, so I went there to pick up the matching tile. If you have never been, this place is huge, and carries almost any kind of tile and/or flooring materials imaginable. But the sheer size of it can be a little overwhelming. Fortunately I was approached by a service employee upon entry, and guided promptly to the right tile. On my own I easily could have taken an hour to hunt it down haha. I wasn't sure what the grout was, but I had a pic and she guided me to a like shade of gray, as well as to the mastic. Supplies gathered quickly with help of capable service team on the floor. I just had the lowest feeling during our new home construction. The floor we had bought at floor and decor was not locking in place correctly. I had to return 95 boxes of planks. I explained what had happened to the manager Danijel pronounce Daniel and he stood behind their product 110%. They were so apologetic for the inconvenience. Then my wife and I picked out a new a new floor but it was 50 cents a square foot more and I thought oh well but Danijel swooped in and saved the day and gave me the floor for the same price as the one we returned. This is a fabulous store with a great selection and really good customer service for a big box store. My mother and I had been to a small independent store near here and didn't see a vinyl plank she liked so I thought to come here. We left with 2 samples, the name of a local installer that came out to give a bid, and we even got to look at backsplash tile as well! I'll be back! read more

My master bath remodel. Glass is not installed yet. Floor & Decor has an incredible & current selection of tile. If you've checked around, you'll see their prices are unbeatable. I highly recommend Floor & decor for your tiling project. They carry much more than tile & stone. One of the designers who helped was knowledgeable, & courteous, the others, not so much. My advice is, have an idea of the look you want and if you think you'll need help, bring a designer. read more

I bought flooring about a year ago and the flooring hasnt held up at all (lifetime warranty) its already chipping, my flooring took twice as long as I was quoted to be received which ended up costing me more (had to reorder a bulk trash service because of the delay). I did receive a slight discount on my flooring for the inconvenience; however, I was now charged almost $500 in interest on a $150 balance a few days after my promotion ended less than 2 weeks ago (apparently even if your products are delayed several weeks, in my case almost 2 months, your promotion starts the day you purchase it.) I spoke with comenity and they told me the charges were valid and I had to go to the store to dispute the charges. I will never shop here again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone, go to home depot or Lowe's, they have way better customer service and support their customers. read more

Possibly the best customer service I've ever experienced! We are doing a kitchen remodel and needed to match some bamboo flooring. I was greeted by a cashier as soon as I walked through the door. (I did not get her name but she was wonderful). She asked me if I knew where I was headed, I did not so I explained what I needed. She got Ryan from the wood flooring section on the radio. He came up front, took me to the bamboo section and helped me get what I needed, got a cart for me, checked me out, and then loaded my car for me! Outstanding! read more

Great start to a Saturday when I went to store 217. My sister and I went to attend a backsplash session for an upcoming project. After one week of repeated phone calls and email messages with promises of the calls to be returned, which was never the case, I was finally helped by "Amanda" after one entire week of calling them daily. And if you call their customer service department, each time you are on hold over 40 minutes. I will never shop there again and also told my contractor to no longer refer people. To be quite honest, when I saw how young she was, I was a bit disappointed...I was hoping for someone with a bit more experience. I started asking questions and her coworker Dylan got involved. From that point on, it was a wonderful experience! Dylan was extremely knowledgeable about design, product, and installation. He went out of his way to make sure my project was going to be fabulous! Had an issue with them back in August with a messed up order but they were helpful and courteous and issue was resolved. We have been back twice in last 2 months for different projects and everyone was extremely helpful without being pushy must have had 6 different employees ask us if we needed help, other places we've been to employees are either in hiding or had no idea what they were talking about. Floor and Decor employees are very knowledgeable, friendly, department manager even walked out to our car and helped us load our flooring, now that's service. We will definitely be back and would recommend them to anyone for anything. Oh and didn't want to forget their prices are fantastic and the selection blows away any other so called flooring stores in Saint Louis. read more
