Not to say I haven't had a few issues each time, however. The first major problem was documented in review 1. I made sure that I was CLEAR this time in the sink mounting. For reference, this piece of black honed granite for a a vanity console top, fabricated from a remnant for pickup (no install or measurement) is $750. Mitered edges are labor intensive and I get that. I was good with the price. My only issue is that one side is slightly longer than the other such that it doesn't sit flat on the console base. The measuring tape and level finally answered this for me. That said, I've gone months without a sink so I'm making this work and it's gorgeous.

Dealing with this company has been incredibly frustrating/stressful. Despite their claims about…read moreclient satisfaction and obtaining proper permits, they failed to meet basic expectations of this in my case. This saddened me due to knowing them on a personal level. In 2021, I hired them to remodel two bathrooms. While there were issues like missing grout and plumbing leaks I overlooked and later had repaired, the main problem was their failure to obtain the proper permits. This became evident in early October 2024 when I was selling my house. During the occupancy inspection, it was noted that the necessary permits had never been filed, causing the inspection to fail and jeopardizing the sale. I contacted the company immediately, but after several follow-ups, they did nothing to resolve the issue promptly. Despite my constant calls and emails, the company showed no urgency, and I never spoke with a manager/owner, despite my constant requests. The administrative assistant assured me the permit would be filed, but it wasn't. When I discovered that it was note filed, she told me she had her brother's birthday party she went to that night and she would file it the next day. This was very unprofessional and continued to delay the sale of my home The permit was finally filed on October 22, 2024, but by then, it was too late to close on time, costing me thousands in loan extensions and extra mortgage payments. When I requested reimbursement due to the failure of work on their end, the company refused. After the permit was filed, multiple revisions to the building plan they submitted caused more delays because they did not draw it correctly. I paid for the permits myself to keep things moving and took the initiative to contact inspectors directly. When I asked the company to send an employee to an inspection, they said they would do it, but it would cost them extra on their end. This should have been standard! By December, with only three days left to avoid losing the sale, further mistakes caused delays. I had to personally call the plan reviewer, who then approved the plan, enabling me to proceed with inspections and close on the house. There are so many details to share about this experience, however on this platform I am unable to fully express them due to the lack of space allowed. Throughout this ordeal, I received rude and accusatory responses, with the company attempting to shift blame onto me. Their failure to handle the permits correctly led to unnecessary financial and emotional stress. I will never use this company again and cannot recommend them due to their lack of accountability, poor communication, and unprofessionalism.

It's too close to the edges and so it has become more disgusting than I have words to describe. Once after I tried cleaning it, the glue came loose and my kitchen sink collapsed onto multiple appliances below. Terry (the owner) did respond to that situation, and came over to reglue the sink. Since then, I have contacted him 5-7 times with photos and request that he just come and fix it. He responded once and said he has no excuse-- he's just been really busy.

February 2025 my countertops are installed, but some minor damage to my cabinets…read more the quartz installers were absolutely reassuring me that Stone Trends has people who will repair the damage to my satisfaction. A subcontractor came out a month later, March 25, 2025 and measured. I've called Stone Trends and the subcontractor who keeps saying "I promise I'm going to get to you" I think two months later he could have squeezed me in for a small job that happened 3 months ago. Stone Trends needs to keep their word to me, its too late to keep patient.

He does not want to pay the earnings tax or deal with permits. After finding out his attitude towards new business or ethics, he went on to tell me how I won't be able to find anyone to do the work or will be able to find any materials. I'd rather not deal with anyone who has such a negative attitude. Home Depot should not refer people who do not want to work in the City, or abide by the local laws.
