After that, it got considerably more frustrating, with multiple delays on delivery, often with no explanation or follow up. For a higher end store, I expected them to be much more willing to work for me, and find out what I needed. I don't want to start on a rant here about customer service, that ends in "I don't ask you to come do my job..." But, I shouldn't have to call you multiple times asking to follow up on the same things over and over. Just get me the answer the first time.

The remodel was a beautiful transformation of our kitchen and dining room with off white cabinetry with a mustard peninsula cabinet. The countertop was a black speckled quartz (Menard's). Callier Thompson had renovated one of our 2nd floor bathrooms almost a decade earlier. I was more than surprised to hear they would send a foreman out to investigate the source of the leak. Matthew arrived to discover that after years of use a small area in the grout had deteriorated to allow water through. He cane several times to repair the grout, removed and replaced the damaged area of the ceiling re-sanded and repainted.....all done free for us! You don't find that kind of support often these days. They had gorgeous tiles, huge selection and many items were in stock and on sale. The tile I selected was actually significantly less than similar tiles that I had looked at Home Depot and Menards. What made the experience even better was the excellent customer care. Rhonda was amazing. She was so patient, knowledgeable, and led me to the perfect tile for our project. She immediately start correcting my verbiage when she knew what I was talking about. I told her that I would come to review some of the facets that were available. She told me that I had to have an appointment to visit there show room. Which she said was not open. She also told me that I had to work through a plumber to visit and purchase items. I told here that I was a license plumber and thanked her for her candor. She hurried off the phone. I guess with an area code of 630 she assumed that I was not a plumber. Or that my articulation with words was not welcomed by her. I was left with the feeling that this southern Illinois plumbing establishment is not people friendly.
